- This activity is wheelchair accessible.
- Wheel Chair Accessibility: All facilities at the Kahului Airport are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant.
- A charge of $10.00 will be assessed when reservations are made within 48 hours of the requested time of the lei greeting.
Additional notes
- Flowers selected for leis are based on freshness and availability.
- Occasionally, substitutions of flowers are necessary due to availability.
- If an airport greeting is not possible for whatever reason, leis will be delivered to the guest's hotel. Guests also have the option of choosing an Airport Departure Greeting instead, and departure flight is information required.
- All participants must arrive on the same flight. Guests arriving on different flights must be booked separately.
- Lei greeting service is at the Kahului International Airport only, not available from Kapalua-West Maui Airport or the Hana Airport.
- Last possible lei greeting service at the airport is until 23:00 (11:00PM). If the guest's flight are delayed, Honolulu Lei Greetings will wait as long as the greeters are able.
Other requirements
- If this is a surprise greeting, you must inform the recipient to look for a sign with their name on it. There will be no refund for missed greetings due to uninformed recipients.
- Honolulu Lei Greetings and VELTRA.com - Hawaii Activities are not responsible for no-shows. Customer must be responsible to alert VELTRA.com - Hawaii Activities, or Honolulu Lei Greetings of any flight changes. No-shows are non-refundable.

Q. Are greetings recommended for those with allergies or sensitivity to fragrances?
A. For those with allergies and sensitivity to fragrances, we recommend booking the Kukui nut, Shell, Ti Leaf, Cigar or Purple Orchid leis. Leis made of Tuberose have a very rich and concentrated fragrance.
Q. How long will my lei last?
A. Leis made of purple orchid flowers will generally last a day and maybe even longer if well cared for. Spray your lei with water or cover with damp paper towels and store it in the fridge for later use. Ti leaf leis are considered good luck and can last much longer. With proper care, Kukui nut leis and shell leis can last forever.
Q. How will I recognize my greeter?
A. Your greeter will be standing in front of the baggage claim area with your name on a sign. They will be wearing purple and white aloha attire.
Q. What if my flight is delayed?
A. Your flight number and airline is being tracked so that your greeter will know your exact arrival time. In some instances, for excessive delays into after hours, greeters will try to deliver the lei to your hotel or arrange a departure greeting instead. However, any switches in flight numbers, please contact us right away.
