The only way to hike in Hawaii with young kids! We went on this hike with our 4 boys - ages 7, 4, 2, and 5 months. We had a blast, and most importantly - so did the kids! They were so into the treasure hunt and loved hiking through “the jungle.” Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hawaii with kids and wanting to experience it all!

Q. How difficult is the hike?
A. The hike covers a total of approximately two miles over relatively even ground. It should be suitable for healthy people of all ages.
Q. What clothing should we wear for this activity?
A. Shorts and short-sleeved shirts or t-shirts are the best. If mosquitoes really bother you, you could wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Also, you’ll want to wear your swimsuit so you can swim in the ocean or natural stream. Your guide will carry repellent.
Q. What is the Trail condition?
A. This treasure hunt activity is a real outdoor adventure, so the trail might be very muddy. If the trail is unsafe due to weather conditions, the trail will redirect to a different safe trail. The optional swim is not guaranteed and based on weather conditions.
