Great experience!
Reviewed by: Courtney, 2014/01/12Snuba diving was the best!! Kevin and Shawn were our instructors and they were so much fun! I'm scuba certified and and my best friend has only snorkeled, and snuba was so easy to do. I would absolutely do it again. I did however wish we could go deeper but you share a tank so you're limited to air. It was still a great experience and I'm really glad I did it!

Learn How to Surf - Kauai Surfing School at Poipu Beach
Fantastic Adventure

We didn't have high hopes for ourselves, but Kyle was able to get both of us up and surfing in no time. He was friendly and set us at ease, very attentive, and had a great method for instructing. We would highly recommend this activity with this company.

Best part of my Hawaiian vacation!!!
Reviewed by: Deserea, 2013/08/19I cannot begin to express how amazing our Snuba experience was. The instructor was super friendly and you could tell he loved doing what he does. He was more than accommodating to questions and made sure you understood and had a wonderful experience. The dive itself was great. There were so many beautiful creatures to see. The only thing I would change is to have been out there longer! If you are debating on whether to do this or another activity, I would strongly recommend this one over anything else Kauai has to offer!

Great fun/Would do AGAIN

My fiancé was new to under water diving and was having a difficult time breathing. Sean stayed with him the whole time and never let him give up!!! We had such an incredible time under the water. We had ample instruction time and felt safe. It lasted very short time and we wanted to stay longer. We would do it again in heart beat !!! Definitely worth the money and we've gained a wonderful new memory!

SO COOL!

Seems easy at first until you get in the water...just listen to the instructor and focus on the sea life while you are under. Ken was great! Would do it again! Best part, got to have an octopus wrapped around my arm....totaly cool!

Introductory Two-Tank Kauai Scuba Diving Boat Tour (from Poipu)
Fantastic dives
Reviewed by: Jamie, 2013/05/16I dove with Tim and Andrew on an absolutely perfect day. We did two drift dives, one at Turtle Bluffs where the visibility was easily over 100 feet, and the second at Amber's Arches.
Saw several huge turtles, a few reef sharks hiding below the bluffs, and an amazingly beautiful Spanish Dancer as we were swimming "upstream" underneath Amber's Arch! Great crew, top-shape boat & shop and brand new equipment made for unforgettable dives.
This is definitely one of the top operations I have ever dove with and I fully recommend diving with them if you are on Kauai. During the summer you can also dive off of Niihau for what I heard were some of the best dives ever.

Exciting tour!

Awesome Experience

An amazing experience

Jackie was so patient and really took great care of my mother so my Fiancee and I could have a great time. When we went on the dive with the certified crew, we really felt apart. A fun excursion
Reviewed by: tony, 2012/08/08Fun! I went with my 15-year-old daughter, and neither of us had done Snuba before. The guides were wonderful-- interactive, informative, good-humored. I'd recommend going on a trip earlier in the day when the tides are gentler and there are generally more fish to see (we went at 1:30).

Great Fun!

I was told the best way to see Kauai was by air, but was not crazy about taking a helicopter ride, so this was a great alternative. The pilot, Paul, was great and very informative! The weather wasn't the best (rained some), but we still got to see alot and Paul made sure that if it was raining in one area, we went around it to see it from the back side or another angle. It was great! There was six in my group and we all said we would do it again!

The staff at Air Ventures was so helpful and courteous. Our pilot, Joel made landing in a small aircraft feeling like you were on a huge jet. It was the best landing I have ever experienced; I tried to convenience him to travel back and pilot our plane to San Diego. His pilot skills were superior; he could easily become a commercial pilot.
Air Ventures -- you offered me a once in a lifetime opportunity. I give you the highest form of recognition. Thank you for all that you have done. You can rest assured if I ever make it back to your Hawaii you will be the first business I call to book my air excursion.

The Seasport Divers staff made the whole diving experience a lot better than expected. The Kauai has a lot of untouched reefs compared to Oahu, so we got to see some marine animals unique to Hawai'i. There was a huge eel which came out of nowhere, and we were hanging out with him (her?) for a while. Thanks a lot for a good time. We'll come back next year!

Our flight was so smooth, my son dooze off for a moment. Our pilot was excellent. My daughter has car sickness sometimes and she was fine. Our pilot was knowable about the Island and had very Interesting stories. It is a must do for everyone at any age. Thanks agian.

We were well instructed and the staff (sorry I don't remember names) were very safety-conscious. I couldn't stop smiling afterwards, and just to write about my experience now, I'm still smiling! I just finished watching the video of our group and re-lived it all over again. I highly recommend this activity!

The instructor guy was very helpful, and taught us how to read the wave and the current, some safety tips you should know, etc. After all, surfing can be dangerous, so we're glad that we took a lesson. A trip down under

I'd recommend for first timers to minimize their trip to just the single tank dive, so they can decide if it is really something they would like. It does get tiring fairly quickly, so a single trip, while it may seem short, is more than enough for the first time. I'd recommend also going straight to the Sheraton reef where you are GUARANTEED to see at least a few sea turtles and get some great pictures. It takes a while to acclimate to the undersea pressure, so if you have the slightest hint of a cold don't go! Seriously, your ears will thank you! I had a headache and trouble hearing for days after my dive. Small price to pay for what I got to see, but you might take some extra vitamins the few days up to your dive, just in case.
