Fun and Different
Reviewed by: louwho4, 2017/01/31Even though I had some problems getting farther down underwater, I am glad I did this tour. You leave right from the beach, no boats involved and you have a 20 foot airline from a tank that floats above and can be brought to wherever the dive takes you. The waves were a bit rough during the "dive" but we did see fish and an octopus.

We are SCUBA certified
Reviewed by: Christian , 2016/08/06Wow wow and WOW got to see so much I was amazed. Our 11 year old daughter was the one who wanted to do it and reluctantly we agreed and man was I surprised. One it's a lot more "family interactive" without having to hold hands. It's more comfortable because you don't have a be and tank weighing you down, and you get to get just as deep as you need to to see huge turtles and awesome fish action

Beautiful Experience

Then the sights and fish underwater without snorkel limitations was amazing! Two of us were return participants and Kevin our guide did not let us down.

Learn How to Surf - Kauai Surfing School at Poipu Beach
So Much FUN!

It was such a fun, enjoyable experience and the group being small made it really simple to get feedback and help. These guys are really great, SUCH a fun time!

After careful thought The only thing Which could have been improved was that the time is very less in which you are actually under water and actually doing Snuba. So it seems the value for money is less, I would recommended that the time should be increased and the time in which the instructions are given should be taken outside the 1.5 time slot

Lots of fun!

The instructor was very nice and enjoyed teaching. I would definitely do it again. The only (small) problem I had was the rocky ocean floor....I got a little scratched up, but it was all worth it! Reviewed by: Sandy, 2014/11/11Alan was a wonderful teacher! There were three of us in his group; a pre-teen boy, a 30 something Mom & me, the 50 something Mom. After straightforward and practical advice on land, we “hit the waves” and all three of us got up our very first time. The experience was exhilarating. I loved every minute of it. Alan was experienced, friendly, patient and had plenty of positive reinforcement. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I didn’t have to come back to Canada. It’s one of my best memories of Hawaii; thank you Alan!

We had Thomas and another man (sorry forgot his name) but they were understanding and helpful. Our family and friends loved it. It was the highlight of my trip. One of the guides, Sean, can come off a little abrasive to an anxious person like me and kind of seemed like "oh great, I have deal with a tourist who doesn't know what they're doing" but the main guy (I can't remember his name, sorry) made up for him and really helped me out when I was having difficulty. The diversity of fish and life that you get to see is beautiful and amazing! I would highly recommend this activity!

It all depends on..........
Reviewed by: Jeff, 2014/06/13Really enjoyed the flight, the pilot was excellent, but, the entire experience hinges on which side of the plane you happen to be seated on. As you depart, the coastline is on the right side of the plane, which allows you to see the attractions the pilot is making reference to. If you are on the left, you mostly view the open sea. He does circle around occasionally, however your view is a brief one, usually right on top, making it very difficult to get a good angle for a picture. I enjoyed the pilot, his commentary was very insightful, however, I would only recommend this excursion for anyone assured of seat on the right side of the plane.

The underwater time is gauged on air consumption. Unfortunately, when the air in the tank is gone, the dive has to end. The only way to increase the time underwater is to breathe more slowly. That, at times, is a challenge for first time participants. I try to get people to slow down by going slowly myself. We use the industry standard 80 cubic foot tanks.
