Introductory Two-Tank Kauai Scuba Diving Boat Tour (from Poipu)

My wife was reluctant to try scuba. These guys taught us we'll and quickly. They made it all so easy. They took great care of us and really made sure we enjoyed our time. We loved every minute and didn't want it to end!

The water was choppy when we went out, and I am usually not prone to motion sickness, but I did feel sick in the boat (but not underwater!). I'd recommend some good motion sickness medicine for the boat ride.

Perfect tour for a first visit to Kauai!

This tour was absolutely wonderful! It was my family’s first visit to Kauai and it was overwhelming seeing all the activities that are available on the island. We settled for this as a way to see a lot of the main sights and it was the PERFECT way to spend the day! We had Kana’e (sp?) as our guide and she was absolutely a joy to spend the day with. She talked stories with us, shared her culture with us and told us all the places to go for our trip! The sights were gorgeous and we recommend this to anyone who is visiting for the first time!!

Excellent tour!

The tour was at an easy pace and covered the West side of the island concluding with spectacular views and vantage points of Waimea Canyon. Our driver Rosario was thorough with explanations, local trivia, and very personable to everyone. The pickup and drop offs from the hotels were punctual. The lunch was also good as were the local stops in Hanapepe and Waimea. Each stop including those of Waimea Canyon allowed for plenty of time to use the facilities, investigate the area, and take plenty of photos. The tour bus had plenty of space, and was air conditioned and comfortable. I would recommend this tour for any visitors to the Garden Isle!

Our tour guide was one of the best parts of the entire trip. She was so informative and had such a deep love and respect for her island and also for the tourists that are visiting here and falling in love with it as well. She provided us with so much useful information and history to help us appreciate this beautiful place and took us to the best stops along the way to see the amazing canyons!

Had a wonderful private tour of the main attractions of the island. Simon was amazing and made the tour an absolute joy for us. We were looking for something with a pick up and drop off, as we could not manage to snag a rental car and this was perfect. Learnt a lot about the history and culture of the island as we drove around the different parts. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a lovely, laid-back and well informed tour of the island with a great guide.

Great experience with kids

We had a great time doing this. The guys were super friendly and relaxed and nice. My brother and I had some experience with scuba, but our kids--ages 16, 13 and 11--did not. It was a quick orientation and we were in the water. We walked right in off the beach. The kids did great. My son had a little trouble being comfortable breathing through a regulator, but still enjoyed it. He just stayed up closer to the surface. The other two had no difficulty with it at all. I was actually surprised at all the different fish we saw. It's not like you're swimming with hundreds of fish all around you, but that's just not available in an outing like this. But it was a great experience that all of us enjoyed and it didn't have to be an all-day commitment.

Our trip with pilot JT was simply perfect!
JT did a great job of flying and narrating the tour at the same time.
Our favorite thing was the Nā Pali Coast .
I highly recommend this amazing adventure!

Great Experience

This was an excellent way to explore the ocean without having experience in scuba diving. Kevin was patient, informative, and an overall great guide. My only advice is to consider the excursion before committing. The water can be a bit rough and there is a good deal of information to consider. My wife backed out at the last minute but she was also on the fence about going in the first place. My 15 and 11 year old had a great time as did I.

This airplane tour was perfect from start to finish. The friendly staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our pilot JT was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He put all of our fears at ease. The one hour plus flight allowed us to see all of Kauai coasts. We saw many waterfalls, the Pacific Grand Canyon and the beautiful Na Pali Coast. It literally took my breath away!!! I highly recommend this tour to everyone!! Mahalo!!

We were lucky enough to get a private tour because nobody else signed up for the snuba tour that morning. The currents were a little tougher than we would’ve liked, but the experience was fabulous. Jared was a great guide and very patient. I had some trouble keeping my mask sealed and with buoyancy. He was a great coach and never lost patience. I had really wanted to see an octopus and it was clear he was looking for them and although we didn’t see one, I appreciated the effort. I would definitely go back again, and am looking forward to trying to get my SCUBA certification when I get home. Thanks Jared for such a great experience!

My husband and I with our 21 yr old daughter bought this activity and were not disappointed....great location and people. Asher was the perfect teacher - patient and encouraging. None of us had ever surfed before but had a great time and got up or close to it a few times! lol! We highly recommend!!

We had Kevin and Jared lead our snuba diving experience. They were extremely friendly and knew everyone in our group on a first name basis. My wife and I were a little nervous before arriving because we had never done anything like this before. The experience was amazing! It was easy to breathe under water and Kevin and Jared provided all kinds of tips for getting water out of your goggles, breathing, communicating, swimming, ear pressure relief and more. I would go back in a heartbeat. The tour is also led by a guide (Kevin). He points out creatures and picks them up (if possible/safe) along the way. He also swam slow to allow you to explore and not get exhausted. The guides are constantly checking on you throughout the entire trip. FIVE STARS!

First Snuba adventure

Not sure how I would manage this new activity, I met a very encouraging and knowledgeable instructor who gave just the right amount of information to set me free with snorkel gear and tank in tow. I never looked back (or up). 60 minutes under water watching beautiful fish and sea creatures. My instructor nearby in case I should panic or need help (not the case), and then playing show and tell with us. Just a true joy and a great vacation memory. Thank you Kevin!

This was our first flight in a small plane my wife and I found it was a fantastic experience there was only the two of us plus Harry our pilot who was brilliant with his knowledge the views over Kauai were brilliant we really came off the flight buzzing. The whole Process was Very well organised from start to finish
We would really recommend this way to see the island

Very physical

The guide and his assistant were very nice a patient with us. I suggest this tour only for strong swimmers and those physically fit. Instead of dropping off a boat into the water and swimming around, you begin the tour walking down to the beach down some big rocks. Then you swim against the waves............exhausting until you reach the group destination...exhausted. The water was semi-cloudy but you could see some fish. Then you swim back.

Somewhat disappointing

While our guide and his assistant were very friendly and knowledgeable, the experience was average at best. We put all our gear on behind the van on the shoulder of a busy road and then just walked across the street and got in the water. Maybe went out 75 yards at most and then swam back to shore. It would have been nice to go out further, away from a busy area with other tourists.
