Reviewed by: Ca1rob, 2011/09/20If you want to experience the ride of a life time then this is the voyage for you, from the crew, the Napali Coast and spinner dolphins and over to Niihau Island and Snorkeling at Lehua in crystal clear water everything was just perfect, we went in mid sept this yr and had only 27 people on the 65 foot cat and plenty of room, snorkeling was the best, even saw a Monk seal a couple of rays and a octopus, the seas coming back across the channel were very calm for us, we might have been very lucky, but again don't miss this wonderful voyage its worth every penny.

Lehua Crater & Na Pali Coast Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks
What a ride
Reviewed by: dearljade, 2011/09/15We really enjoyed this cruise. The Na Pali coast is very beautiful. The breakfast and lunch was great. The snorkeling was fantastic. Getting to see a monk seal basking in the sun was really great. The ride home was the only part of the trip that was challenging. I recommend anyone taking this cruise to take a dramimine before departing. On the ride back the crew passed out plenty of buckets, people were getting sick because of the rough ride. It is not the fault of the crew, the seas are especially rough. The only warning we got ahead of time was that it is an "E" ticket ride on the way back. No one on the boat knew exactly what to expect. We were lucky enough not to be the ones who did get sick. Well worth the money and the views are breath taking. It is an experience we will never forget. The crew was very nice and helpful. Thanks y'all!!

Kauai Backcountry Treetop Canopy Zipline & Swimming Adventure with Lunch
great time

I recommend this activity to everyone, especially those people who have a fear of heights as I do. What a great way to spend the day. Fantastic Tour!

Being on the boat was a fun experience (not recommended if you get sea sick as the waves can get very big which makes for a bumpy but fun ride!) and the views of The Na Pali were amazing. Great crew too which made the trip more enjoyable - lots of interesting stories and very welcoming! The food was well prepared and had a good variety too - very tasty! We would highly recommend this tour!

船員さんはみんな熱心でしたよ
Reviewed by: js, 2011/09/13ナパリコーストもゆっくりと見ることができ、途中でイルカの群れに遭遇するという嬉しい出来事もありました。安全面も細かい配慮があったので特に不安に感じることもなかったです。ただ、ほとんど日本人がいないので、説明はすべて英語で、船の騒音もあってほとんど理解できませんでした。ガイドさんが一生懸命案内してくれていたのに残念です。もっと楽しむには英語力が必要かもしれません。あと、シュノーケリングは、なぜここで？と思うくらい魚がいなかったので、すぐあがってしまいました。波があるから場所がないのかな。

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters Kauai Eco Adventure Flight from Lihue
Amazing experience...a must do!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2011/09/08Went to Kauai as part of our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the helicopter tour. The most beautiful and amazing parts of Kauai can only be seen from the sky and this helicopter meant we could see it all! Pilot was very friendly and it was a plush helicopter, making it a comfortable journey. The pilot narrated the journey and made sure we saw everything very clearly. When the sun wasn't in the best position, he turned the helicopter around to make sure we got good photographs - nothing was missed! Would fly with Blue Hawaiian again :)

Smith's Family Garden Luau - Polynesian & Fire Show, Dinner and Open Bar
Beautiful!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2011/09/03We enjoyed this luau a lot. We've been to several luaus on Oahu, but the ground where this luau sits is just so pretty. They have a tram that goes around the property, and we even fed peacocks that roam around freely. We even saw a local wedding that was taking place.
The foods were really good, and we definitely enjoyed their open bar. We had 3, 4 of their mai tai drinks, and they made it just perfect. Foods were great so were the entertainment during the show.
Although we enjoyed the show, I thought they could improve it a little more. It was cool to see dances from non-Polynesian countries such as Japan, China and Philippines, but they could add more story line to the whole show instead of presenting it like a mix-plate. The fire knife dance was pretty good, and everyone was in awe.
All in all, I highly recommend this luau if you go to Kauai. You will have a good time for sure.

ヘリコプター遊覧飛行 ワイメア渓谷+ナ・パリ・コースト＜英語ガイド／リフエ空港発＞
空からの絶景
Reviewed by: Pandada, 2011/08/31今回、カウアイ島に行くに当たり、絶対に参加したかったのがヘリコプターツアー。
TVでみて一目ぼれしたカウアイ島の絶景を見るには、やはりTVと同じように空からでしょ！ということでこちらのツアーに申し込みました。
結果、大正解！
ナパリコーストや、ワイメアキャニオンなど、眼下に広がる景色には行きを飲むものがあります。
また、絶対にヘリコプターでしか行けない場所を見れるのも貴重な体験です。
カウアイ島に来たら一度は参加するべきです。
今回、ちょっと奮発してFirst classを申し込みましたが、多少予算オーバーでも絶対にFirst classに乗るべきだと思います。
後部座席は4人がけで、体重によって座席が振り分けられるため、どこに座るかわかりません。
真ん中の席になると、ちょっと外が見づらいかなぁと。
あと、日本語ガイドとありましたが、私の時は英語ガイドでした。
他にもお客がいたためだと思います。
いずれにせよ、空からの景色はなかなか見れるものではありません。
アクティビティの値段としては少々高い部類ですが、それに見合うだけの価値はあります。
参加して本当に良かったツアーでした。

Also we asked for some input on key restaurants to visit while we were there and she was right on and we totally appreciated all her help. ナ・パリ・コースト クルーズ 立ち入り禁止の聖域「ニイハウ島」沖でのシュノーケリング付き＜朝食・ビュッフェ昼食付き／英語ガイド＞
これは冒険！！

6時チェックインとまだ真っ暗ななかホテルを出発することになりましたが、
早起きして良かった！と思います。
キャプテン、船のクルーがフレンドリーにお迎えしてくれて、
上船したらなんと虹(ダブルレインボー)が頭上に現れ、
すぐに不安はふっとびました！笑船からの朝日もとてもきれいです。
ナパリコーストまでは結構距離があります。
予想以上にスピードをだして、目的のポイントまで向かいます。
なんども体が中に浮きました＾＾；ジェットコースターが好きな私は楽しめました。
終始通り過ぎていく景色に夢中でした。
びゅーーーんと折り返し地点まで向かい、そこからはゆっくりと説明を加えながら
ナパリコーストの絶景を楽しめます。
海岸沿いにできているシーケーブ(洞窟)にも接近してもらえました。
いろいろなところに滝をみることもできました。
ナパリコーストを楽しんだら、ニーハウ島へ向かいます。
これもまたかなりの移動距離！真っ青な海のなかを進んでいきます。
鳥がたくさん飛んでいました。ぼーっと観ていたら鳥が海の中に入っていき魚を捕まえていました！
波の合間をすーーと飛んでいく鳥は見ていてあきません。
ニーハウ島の横にできているクレーターに近づくとどんどん海の色がきれいになってきます。
ここで泳げるの！？とテンションは上がり、
シュノーケルスポットではシーモンクを発見！
海中では見られなかったけど海水から頭をぽこっとだした姿はとてもかわいらしかったです。
たくさんの魚やサンゴをみることができました。
船上のクルーはいろいろな話をしてくれます。質問をしたら丁寧に答えてくれます。
愉快なキャプテンとフレンドリーなクルーがこのアクティビティを
盛り上げてくれたと思います。
最後はニーハウ島からカウアイ島までもびゅーーーーんとかなり揺れながら帰って行きます。
スプラッシュもすごいので、ウィンドブレーカーがあればいいかもしれません。
ふちに座ると目が開けられないほどのスプラッシュにかかります。
最初は楽しんでいましたが、1時間も続くと少しやっかいです＾＾；笑

Very Nice Day on the Water
Reviewed by: amythann, 2011/08/22We love boat rides and this was a great sightseeing and snorkel tour. The boat was comfortable and had good indoor and outside seating. Also two heads which was a nice feature. This is the only boat that crosses the channel from Kauai over to Niihau and the little island of Lehua which is where we snorkeled. They provided fins (we brought our own mask and snorkel) and "noodles" which I appreciated since I am a bit fearful of snorkeling. Also a great spread of cold cuts, with all the trimmings and lots of vegetables, and dessert for lunch. They are very safety-conscious, but I wish there was a better way to impress upon people that the crossing is rough and they should always hold on or sit down, because the constant lecturing got a bit tedious. I definitely recommend doing this trip, though.

ナ・パリ・コーストは壮大
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2011/08/17 カウアイ島は初めてでした。 天気もよくジュラシック・パークの背景のそのままのナ・パリ・コーストを見てきました。 噂以上でした。
途中イルカの大群や鳥の捕食の様子を見つけると船を近づけてくれました。 イルカは慣れているようで、すぐ船によってきて子供は大喜びでした。
スタッフは女性のキャプテンを含めて3人でしたが、とても親切でよくしていただきました。集合場所が遠く、リフエやポイプからでも送迎がないのでレンタカーがないとつらいです。
また行きたいです。

Would recommend to anybody. But you do have to be at least 100 lbs, so the little ones can't do this. I would definitely do this again! Also, look for sales. Got this on sale via HawaiiActivities.com for $99.00 plus tax per person. Usually goes for $120-135 per person plus tax. Also, book on-line at least one week before you leave for Kauai.

Reviewed by: Mellor, 2011/08/16My husband and I did the 8am zip tour last week and had soooooooo much fun! Who needs caffeine to wake you up when you can fly over 200 ft in the sky at 30+ mph? Definitely an exhilarating and great start to our day and Kaua'i trip.
PS. Pono, Alohi and DJ are great tour guides! They really cared about everyone's safety and made sure we learned a lot and had tons of fun!

Reviewed by: Tim and Christie, 2011/08/03My husband and I really enjoyed this activity. The Quads were fun and pretty easy to drive. The ranch is gorgeous and a great place to ride. Our guides were very knowledgable, fun, informative, and made effort to speak with all guests on the trip. I recommend not wearing any clothes/shoes/socks that you don't mind ruining from the mud spatter! Mud stains did not come out of our clothing very well. Also, bring LOTS of bug spray for the stop at the falls. LOTS of fun and I plan to do it again, next time I'm on Kauai.

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim
Excellent activity
Reviewed by: Tim and Christie, 2011/08/03We enjoyed the kayaking and hiking both. The Scared Falls were well worth the hike. I recommend good water shoes for the hike. I did it in flip flops and it was a bit tricky! Jesse was our guide and he was great, very energetic and knowledgable.

I took my kids (7 & 12), husband and parents and everyone had a great time. And the way Grandma (almost 60) was talking about it afterward, I know she really enjoyed herself. I booked this tubing adventure and the Na Pali Coast Snorkel Tour and my family told me I was 2 for 2.

A group of guys, we always like to be active and this provided us with the intensity we needed, and the sites were gorgeous and the guide was cool too.
Every guy who went agreed with me, this tour was the bomb.

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2011/07/01This tour gets an enthusiastic YES from me! And my boyfriend agrees. We both had a great time. We are outdoor enthusiasts, so we wanted to stay in nature out and doing activities while here in Hawaii, so this was just right for us.
I like especially how the trip was mixed in that we got to paddle along the river in a kayak, and then mix it up a bit with a nature walk...kept things interesting and allowed different muscles to rest.
Really good time, we both had a lot of fun.
