Reviewed by: Mikaela, 2018/08/29My idea about a Luau was...some food and a little bit of Tahitian dancing on a hotel property...This is what we saw year after year walking on Kaanapali beach - Maui .
Smith Family Garden Luau IT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT- worth attending. They are very well organized and offer you a unique experience!
1. You get greeted by a local girl and boy who are offering a lei and at this point you get a group picture taken- nice touch- no pressure to buy it,
2.They offer you a tour of the garden and after that you have time to wander by yourself- 50 min- until they do the pork ceremony.
3. You are invited to your table- parties 6 or more have assigned seats- very thoughtful. They have a neat system to invite you to get the food without overcrowding the area. BTW- plenty of good food and drinks.
4. During the meal they entertain you : a little bit of dancing and singing and they invite people from the crowd to teach them how to dance. It was really neat !!
4. After the meal you are invited to an outdoor theater for an 1 hour show. It was A REAL show...lights, music...put together very professional! Enough seats for everyone, you can seethe scene from every seat . At the entrance you can pick up your photos.
I think it is the only Luau worth attending :)

すごいの一言！

Snuba Tours of Kauai - Guided Beach Snuba Diving Tour

The currents were a little tougher than we would’ve liked, but the experience was fabulous. Jared was a great guide and very patient. I had some trouble keeping my mask sealed and with buoyancy. He was a great coach and never lost patience. I had really wanted to see an octopus and it was clear he was looking for them and although we didn’t see one, I appreciated the effort. I would definitely go back again, and am looking forward to trying to get my SCUBA certification when I get home. Thanks Jared for such a great experience!

以前は日本語ガイドのツアーに参加したので、今回はガイド不要だったのでお安いこのツアーに参加。
陽気で皆を楽しませる英語ガイドで、一緒に歌ったりダンスしたりと面白かったです！
ボートを降りてからも少し脚が悪い母でも歩ける距離できちんと歩道も整備されており安心でした。
何度来ても素敵なワイルアリバークルーズでした。

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim

Our entire family from 11 yrs old to adults really enjoyed this trip. The pilot was knowledgeable and shared lots of history and fun facts about the island. Highlight of the whole vacation!

Kaua'i was our first Hawaiian visit and the views on the helicopter tour show what allows you to see this incredible island in the best possible way.

3.5-Hour Kauai Napali Sunset Dinner Cruise with Open Bar - Holo Holo Charters
Nice trip to take to see the coast
Reviewed by: capgard, 2018/07/01No complaints about the boat, captain and crew. It was all professional and attentive. Food was great, beer selection included local and usual brands. As advertised, they don't overcrowd the boat, so there's plenty of room for the passengers. I do recommend a light jacket and hat. Unless you stay in the cabin, you will get wet. How much will depend on where you sit/stand. Amazing views to be seen and we were lucky enough to see a school of porpoises jumping around the ship. Sunset off the aft (back) of the ship was worth it.

Reviewed by: Cody, 2018/06/29We had Kevin and Jared lead our snuba diving experience. They were extremely friendly and knew everyone in our group on a first name basis. My wife and I were a little nervous before arriving because we had never done anything like this before. The experience was amazing! It was easy to breathe under water and Kevin and Jared provided all kinds of tips for getting water out of your goggles, breathing, communicating, swimming, ear pressure relief and more. I would go back in a heartbeat. The tour is also led by a guide (Kevin). He points out creatures and picks them up (if possible/safe) along the way. He also swam slow to allow you to explore and not get exhausted. The guides are constantly checking on you throughout the entire trip. FIVE STARS!

Family-friendly...manageable with tough kids.

Sunscreen, hat and proper shoes a must as well. It's a jungle out there! Water was amazing and the return trip was refreshing! Brad was funny and a great host...attendees must have a sense of humor!

Reviewed by: Sjewkes , 2018/06/16This was a great way to really see Kauai by water and land. The waterfall was worth the hike. Remember to wear really good shoes for the hike as you will cross over some fast moving water. My shoes kept slipping off. Overall, a great activity.
Thanks for your review. Always have loved the Hawaiian word for waterfall: "wail lele" which is defined as "jumping waters". Come back and enjoy our other snorkel and paddling tours. And yes...aqua shoes or sturdy tennis shoes is a must. A hui hou and thanks again.

Reviewed by: ユウヤケパットマン, 2018/06/10テレビで見聞きしていましたが、この素晴らしい景観をこの目で見ることができて感動の時間を過ごせました。Pilot（Mr.ダレン）さんの英語と軽妙な日本語での説明で、飛行前の不安を忘れ、リラックスでき、あっという間の時間でした。このツアーに参加するにあたって経験したことを少し、記載しますので参考にしてください。
１. リフエ空港からBlue Hawaiiann事務所まで徒歩で約10分（1㎞）くらい。
（ホテルからカウアイバスを利用したので参考まで）
２．入口ドアを開けると、正面に受付。受付カウンターで名前を告げます。次に、当日の体重を測ることになるのですが、ちょうど自分が立っている足マットの下が、体重計になっています。（何やら説明されていたようですが、よく聞き取れませんでした。）
3. ツアーについての説明開始時間を教えてくれます。
4. ツアーについての説明（安全）は、プロジェクターで行われますが、外国人向けに字幕を付けてくれます。最初のオリエンテーションの最後に必要な人は、と問われるので、”Japanese”。（私は、聞き逃しました。）
5.プロジェクターでの説明後に、自分の乗るヘリコプターの座席位置が知らされます。
6.ツアー終了後、受付カウンターで当日のフライト画像（音声付き）のUSBメモリーを購入できます。40でした。

An authentic Polynesian evening in Kauai
Reviewed by: Darcy, 2018/06/06On our last night on the island, my friend and I went to the Smith's Luau, and it was one of our most memorable times on Kauai. It was not only informative, but entertaining as well. You can tell that this family owned and operative business is run with love and a true appreciation for Hawaiian culture.
The tram ride took us along the huge gardens, and was a great way to get a quick view of the area. I loved that they have a herd of goats! The babies were just so cute! It was also close to where they were doing the imu or underground oven ceremony. Picture time!
The food was plentiful and really tasty. I loved that they had entertainment (music and dancing) while we ate, and the only thing is that I would personally skip the fruit punch. It was just too sweet! But the food, man! I had two full plates and would have had more, but would have ended up rolling out of there.
Our night concluded with some fantastic performances, and although they weren't the most polished, they were filled with sincerity and a love of hula that can't be matched. You can tell that they truly enjoy being on that stage and it is just so moving. Really happy we went :)

It’s a great way to see the island from up top including the crater, Napali coast, the valleys, mountains, and waterfalls. We even saw where the Rock is filming. I would certainly recommend!

Outfitters Kauai Zipline Trek Adventures at Kipu Ranch
An adrenaline pumping experience!
