Kauai Beach Boys Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Surfing Ride
Excellent activity!

My spouse thought this was just gonna be a typical kayak, just on the ocean, so he was surprised to see the structure. Straight out of Moana! Chretien (sp?) was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the water, surfing activities, and the general area. I think we caught 4 waves and hit speeds we wouldn’t have believed! I think the site said to bring close-toed shoes, but we shed shoes completely for the ride. Definitely bring a hat (for the sun), but maybe something with a strap to keep it on your head. Beware the parking area! Riddled with huge, tire-destroying pot holes!

A Night to Remember

Reviewed by: Rosanna , 2022/03/13My husband and I had a wonderful time on this dinner cruise! Captain Cole was a great skipper. He was informative in a fun way. Our crew Sara, Ahren and Keenan were super friendly and helpful. (We took another reviewers advice and took some Dramamine ahead of time just in case, since it did get a bit choppy. But, we enjoyed it) Our crew served nonstop beverages of all kinds and many yummy appetizers. Dinner was delicious and ample. We were able to see many whales which was an added surprise. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!

Luau Kalamaku at Kilohana Plantation - Polynesian Dinner Show & Fire Knife Dance
Kids love feeding the pigs
Reviewed by: Vjg, 2022/03/13This is our second time to this luau and although it has not changed much it was still a memorable event. There were 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 children. The kids loved taking the train and feeding the pigs tortilla wraps. This is a highlight for them. The meal is on time, well organized, efficient and the staff do an amazing job of keeping it all running smoothly. The food is not inspired nor unique in any way. The pork is very tasty though and I thought the chicken thighs were well prepared. The desserts need a revamp as jiggly squares and pineapple cake and tiny tarts of nondescript filling are not worth the big bucks.
The show is well preformed and really another job well done.
Everyone loves a guy throwing fire up in the air.

Friendly staff.

I didn’t appreciate that they don’t say anything to people who don’t wear a mask even if it’s still mandatory. That part was really annoying.

Hidden Valleys of Kauai Waterfall Swim, Kayak & Hike Adventure

My husband and I went with our 4 and 6 year old kiddos - what a great adventure. The kayak portion was beautiful and the hike was easy for the kids to do and our guide had lots of great info to share as we walked along. The highlight was the rope swing into the water! Having a boat take you back and not having to paddle upstream was a highlight as well - made this a very doable trip with kids. This was one of my favorite activities we did in Kaua'i!

Learn How to Surf - Kauai Surfing School at Poipu Beach
A highlight of our trip!

We all got up on the board! Jared was extremely patient with the kids and was great at explaining the process to them on land first. He was also very encouraging with the kids. This was a highlight of our trip and something the kids keep talking about. Would highly recommend!

A lovely, peaceful boat trip along a beautiful river

It was fun to watch the people in Kayaks and on paddle boards along the way. There is a roof on the boat so it's very shady & the padded bench seats are comfortable. We were entertained with interesting history about the river and area.
It was easy to get in & out of the boat. The Fern Grotto was a very lush & beautiful area. There were no mosquitoes or flying insects when we were there between 11 A. M & 12:30 P. M.
At the Grotto & on the boat, we were entertained with singing and dancing. It was a very enjoyable time for all.

Lehua Crater & Na Pali Coast Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks

It was so organized and straight to the point which I loved. The whole crew was amazing and kind, always making sure passengers were okay and comfortable. It’s funny because I’m sure the crew has seen the views a million times, yet they still make it enjoyable and share such an insightful information about Kaua’i. The views were amazing and no pictures or videos can ever do them justice. I really appreciated this time experience and will carry it with me forever! Thank you so much, Holo Holo!

Kauai Backcountry Adventures Mountain Tubing Tour with Lunch

Safety was a big concern as two others with our group provided this. There were 5 tunnels.
I would suggest that your neck could be impacted, so you should make time to relax the neck, clasped with your hands behind your neck, when opportunity arises.
Attire is basic swim shorts, t shirt, and water tubbies.
Refunds for 3 of our travelers is being processed, so this is a bonus, as most activities will not offer a full refund on the portion not used.

Kauai Airplane Tours - See Na Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, Jurassic Falls & More
Great view of Na Pali Coast and the entire island from sky
Reviewed by: Turtle, 2022/01/07I have hiked Kalalau Trail, stayed Ko ke e state park, took a boat tour to Na Pali coast and tried to see the coast line from all the angle. This Air tour is definitely one of the addition to it. By looking at the coast line from sky gives me more history of how the structure was created.
It was great view with a nice perfect weather with a good tour guide/pilot. He was very informative about buildings, natures, movie sites, tourist information, etc.
This air tour was more affordable than a tour with helicopters. It is a really nice addition to a budget traveler who want to see the island from sky, expanding the scope.

Kayak Kauai Hanalei River & Blue Lagoon Kayak & Snorkel Adventure
Great kayaking tour, not-so-great snorkeling tour
Reviewed by: Jams, 2022/01/06Kayaking the Hanalei River was magestic! The tour guides were fun and interesting and knowledgable! When we got to the snorkeling place, it seemed like it would be good - lots of reef, but then it was not as good as it seemed. I think the reef was too high in the sense that you could only snorkel around the coral, not above it as I'm used to, so if you don't find the "channel" (there are several false leads/dead-ends) then you may get stuck on top of the coral which means you may have to step on it, which you're not supposed to do! This is particularly challenging with children. The gear was all one-size-fits-no-one really well. I thought there would be children's sized gear so we didn't bother bringing the cheap children's gear that we purchased earlier in the week - I thought the tour would have better gear. All-in-all, we barely snorkeled! But otherwise, the tour was lovely!
Aloha Jams, Thanks for your nice, informative and fair review. Glad the guides, panorama, setting that is Hanalei made up for the disappointing snorkeling. At times depending on weather snorkeling, once in a while can be a “hit or miss”. Glad the guides were stil able to fun you. With small children we encourage folks to bring those cheap snorkeling gear that you mentioned. Stay well and thanks again for taking the time to share.
