Snorkeled and Cannot Even Swim

Great adventure for me since I have never been snorkeling and I cannot even swim. That is why I chose this activity, so I would have someone to help get me through it. The instructors (both ladies) were great , calming, reassuring, and understanding and really "babysat" and "nurtured" me into my first snorkeling adventure. I felt very secure and safe. I was amazed that I saw a bright yellow fish the first time I got brave enough to put my face in the water. After that, I just kept my face in the water most of the time to see what else was there. There did not seem to be a lot of fish and the water did not seem very clear where we were, but IT still worked for me as a "first-timer." I still cannot believe that I really did it. The only beach we snorkeled was Tunnels Beach (I think was the name of it.) The other instructor even took all my pictures for me with my underwater camera when I asked her to do that for me. I am so glad she did, so now, I will have something to show that I reall

Kipu Safari Adventure - Zipline, Hike, Kayak & Waterfall Swim with Lunch

My boyfriend and I had a really great time on this adventure. Our favorite part was the ziplining. We wish there were more lines! I'm scared of heights but enjoyed it so much I can't wait to do it again!
The kayaking was nice despite the rain. We saw a few "movie spots" during our ride down the river. Also, saw some really beautiful sceneries.
The hiking was not strenuous but there were a few times where you really had to watch your step. Also, for those very prone to mosquito bites, be sure to put it on! It was pretty windy so the guides said we probably wouldn't have to worry about the mosquitos but I ended up getting bit 6 times before I was able to put some repellant.
Overall, a really great experience. This is a great tour if you want a piece of everything.

Snuba Tours of Kauai | Small-Group Guided Beach SNUBA Diving Tour at Lawai Beach

The best part of snuba-ing is that you don't have to hover on the surface of the water, you can actually breath underwater. We spent most of our time being silly and pretending we were mermaids. We had a blast. Thanks to Kevin and the snuba crew!

Kipu Safari Adventure - Zipline, Hike, Kayak & Waterfall Swim with Lunch

We absolutely loved this outing! It was a little bit of everything. The view from the kayak was amazing and the hikes are no where near as strenuous as they note. The ziplines were more than we expected. There are two zips and the final one being tandem and nearly 1800'. Awesome!! The guides were extremely friendly and make the experience enjoyable and informational. We will definitely do this trip again!!

We had a wonderful time. The scenery is spectacular, and everything we did on this excursion was fun and exciting! Highly recommend it. It is strenous though so keep that in mind.

We did our trip on March 19, 2010, my husband and I are over 50 years old and my daughter and her friend 19 years old.
Hope to do it again one day!

Thoroughly enjoyed the time!

We've been snorkeling before, but none were as personalized as the one we had on this trip. Our guides, Paul and Jack, were very light-hearted, funny, but extremely careful when it came to the safety of our snorkelers. You could tell they truly enjoyed being our guides, and they lived and breathed what Kauai offered. The trip was very special and personal to my wife and me, because our guides brought us to places, and pointed out creatures we would never have seen or held by ourselves. And although their jobs were to entertain and teach us about snorkeling, they were equally committed to the well-being of the sea life (e.g., the sea turtles), giving clear directions and explanations for how we were to be responsible for our actions around them.

Snacks and tips on other great sites to see in Kauai followed the swim. Thanks for the fun, Paul and Jack!

This adventure was absolutely fabulous. My husband and I loved the kayaking. It was our first time to zipline and we both would love to do it again. We are in our forties and felt like 25 again. The swing at Kipu Falls was a blast. Definately recommend to everyone! Our guides were fabulous!

This tour was great! Our snorkel guide Paul was very knowledgable about the island and all the creatures in the ocean. He was able to look around underwater and find things to show us that he thought we would enjoy. Would absolutely recommend as a "must go to" activity.

I had such a great time on the Safari tour. I had Alex, Maggie and Adrienne as my tour guides and they were FANTASTIC! Our group laughed so much and I felt really safe having Alex and Adrienne there to explain what we were supposed to do during the zipline and jumping off Kipu falls. I had a blast and was totally pumped up after I left for the rest of the day. I would recommend this tour to everyone who's going to Kauai!

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim

Josh was a great guide. He was very patient with our lack of skills with a kayak and he provided a lot of interesting information about the area, vegetation and history, etc. We were the only participants on our tour and we felt like we had our own personal guide. The kayak was top quality and even had a rudder to help with controlling the vessel as we rowed.

Introductory Two-Tank Kauai Scuba Diving Boat Tour (from Poipu)

We are both certified divers with a little less than year of experience. So we know what we were doing but appreciates the older diver's guidance. The Seasport Divers staff made the whole diving experience a lot better than expected. The Kauai has a lot of untouched reefs compared to Oahu, so we got to see some marine animals unique to Hawai'i. There was a huge eel which came out of nowhere, and we were hanging out with him (her?) for a while. Thanks a lot for a good time. We'll come back next year!

This was a wonderful experience! Our instructor picked us up in a very clean van, there were 5 of us total. The drive to the ocean was beautiful and only about 10 minutes away. When we got there we put on our gear, eveything that you 'll need is there, fins, masks, wetsuit, etc. in the sizes you ask for. They even had prescription masks for people with glasses (even high strengths, a 5 for me). I was a little nervous because i'm not a very good swimmer, but the wet suit helps you float and there is a surf board like thing with rope handles that you can hang on to. Put I had a great time holding on to that and just looking down the whole time. We saw lots of tropical fish, coral reef, and sea turtles (huge ones!) just floating next to us. The ocean water is warm too, so don't worry about being cold, the pool at my resort was colder. Okay and last but not least there were no sharks. I was very worried about that, even though I research it before signing up, but its very very ra

If you want to do something off the normal "Lounge Chair Larry", this is the trip to take. We met wonderful friends, enjoyed the whole day, and tested our mettle to boot ! I'd do this again, and would put on the bug spray as soon as the kayaking is done. I even loved the turkey sandwiches and pasta salad !Great team with Adam and Kaite and both should get a raise !!!

Snuba diving was by far the best, most fun, most relaxing activity that I've ever done on any of the Hawaiian Islands! We were well instructed and the staff (sorry I don't remember names) were very safety-conscious. I couldn't stop smiling afterwards, and just to write about my experience now, I'm still smiling! I just finished watching the video of our group and re-lived it all over again. I highly recommend this activity!

We had a great time. It was actually 2nd time trying to learn surfing. We tried from my friend, but we decided to take a lesson from pros. The instructor guy was very helpful, and taught us how to read the wave and the current, some safety tips you should know, etc. After all, surfing can be dangerous, so we're glad that we took a lesson. This was a really fun experience! Jonathan was our tour guide and since we were the only ones booked that afternoon, it was a really private tour. We snorkeled at Hideaways Beach, which was breathless. The kayaking back was a little tough because we were tired from the snorkeling but we finally made it. I would definitely do it again!
