Boring! Boring! Boring!!!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2011/08/18My family and I enjoy horseback riding but this one was not up to par. I booked a private lesson and was told we would be able to do more with the horses beside just walking them and also would not be a nose to tail ride but that's exactly what it was. We were told many things but none were true. A couple of the horses did not like having another horse so close to it's tail so they would constantly kick backwards. You're only on the beach for a short time to cross to the dusty path were you spend most of the time until you cross back over the beach to go back to the club. Our guide was also an unpleasant women who never spoke unless it was to tell us what we were doing wrong. It was definetely not worth the money we spent and would not go back.

乗馬してきました！

注意事項などは日本語のビデオがあり、まったく問題なかったです。
スタッフの方も英語がイマイチな私たちに色々気遣っていただき、楽しかったです。
お尻が痛くなったのと、馬を走らせる行為はできないので、１時間でも十分でしたよ。

ジェットコースターが苦手なのですが、はっきり言ってジェットコースターよりも全然怖くりませんでした。爽快の一言！！
ただ、パラシュートが開いた後がかなり酔います。
DVDを申し込みました。これはホテルで友人達と上映会をしたら、かなり盛り上がりましたよ！

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2011/08/11ハワイは何度も来ていて、去年はノースの乗馬コースに参加しました。そのときに乗馬にはまった娘にせがまれて、今回はクアロア牧場での乗馬2時間コースに参加しました。
ノースと違って、こちらは息を呑むほどの美しい風景と壮大な自然の中を、まさにゆったりのんびり馬の背に揺られて、本当に乗馬を堪能することができました。広大な敷地にある、ジュラシックパークの撮影現場、ロストでの見覚えのある地形など、感動ものでした。
また、6人で1チームでしたが、案内役の方が日系5世で日本語も英語も流暢な上、先頭から一番後ろの私たちまで何度も何度も行き来をしてお世話やお話をしてくれたので何一つ不安も不満もなく、本当に楽しめました。
あっという間の2時間でした。息子は今回の旅行の中で一番楽しかったと喜んでいました。このツアーはお勧めです☆

The horses themselves are polo horses....and wow...are they beautiful. Very different from most ranch horses i have seen...and the ride itself...all I have ever been on have been on ranches along dusty trails or in the woods...THIS WAS ON THE BEACH...RIGHT BY THE WATER...IN HAWAII!! I honestly think I don't need to say anymore! On the beach...in Hawaii!

not what the website says
Reviewed by: Lesley Richardson, 2011/07/21I choose this horsebackriding venue because of the website which stated they are not your typical trail ride. According to the ad we would not be riding nose to tail - that's exactly what we had to do--- also the ad stated we would be free to ride the horses to our ability-absolutely not, we were not allowed out of the line or to go faster than a walk or to go ahead of the guide-who was a most unpleasant woman. Also the beach part of the ride was very limited. The only high marks I give are to the horses!! They were not your typical trail horses. Overall I was disappointed, especially considering the high cost.

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2011/07/20初めての体験でとても緊張したが、インストラクターの言ったとおり無重力を感じることなく鳥のように飛べた。4200ｍを時速200Kmの速さで落下するのでスリル満点。追加料金（USD188)を支払えば自分専属のカメラマンが離陸から着地までの一部始終をDVDと写真（約100枚）に撮ってくれる。おそらく「地球の丸さを感じる写真を撮ってください」などと希望すればそうしてくれるだろう。なお飛ぶ前には数分間のイメージビデオと簡単なレッスンがあるが、いかなる事故の責任も問わない旨の契約を結ぶので、やるやらないは自己責任。体調に不安がある人は、事前に医者に診てもらうことをお勧めする。

Reviewed by: ダイアン, 2011/07/172011.6.25 初にして恐らく最後のスカイダイビング！よくやったと自分を褒めてあげたい。。。とにかく 1高所恐怖症はあまり関係ない 2ジェットコースターの様なGはかからないし、フワッとした感覚もない 3イントラが頼もしくなんの不安も感じることなく体験出来る 4急降下で気圧が一気に変わるので多少耳が痛い 5参加された方はぜひDVDを申し込まれた方がいいと思います 6まだ未経験の方、ためらってる方、迷ってる方、ぜひ参加される事をお勧め致します（リスクは熟慮して下さいね） １２月に今度は主人とハワイに行きますが主人も参加を表明いたしておりますｗｗ 楽しかったぁ~！！ イントラの皆さ~んありがとうございましたぁ~！！

Though when I went in the cage, I wasn't scared at all, but fascinated by the beautiful creatures that sorrounded us. Just a tip; bring motion sickness pills. P.s. I'm not scared of sharks anymore.

Waimea Bay Summer Snorkel & Sail Cruise (from Haleiwa Harbor)

and the snorkeling was so cool. so many things to see, I didn't know where to look half the time! loved it.

妻は当初参加に不安でしたが、檻に入ってみると鮫はきれいで、鮫は人を襲わない安全な種類と分かったので、珍しい体験を楽しんでいました。
鮫は小魚が近くを泳いでいても食べる気配なしで、迫力という点では、ちょっと物足りないかも。
夫婦二人とも次はホオジロザメのような危ない鮫を見たいねと話していました。
使い捨ての水中カメラを買っていきましたが、波で揺れて写真を撮るのが難しかったです。
デジカメで画面を見ながら大量に撮れるように、防水ケースを買えばよかったなと思いました。

サメを見たときは、わかっていても驚いて怖かったです。
日本人には日本語の説明文を渡してくれました。
船スタッフに、日本語を十分に使える方がいなかったので、初歩程度の意思表示する英会話が必要です。

2時間コースおすすめです♪
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2011/06/23乗馬前の説明は簡単な日本語ビデオを見るだけだったので、正直かなり不安でしたが、お馬さんに乗ったら不安も吹っ飛びました。
前の馬についていくことをわかっているので、前の馬が止まったら自分も止まる。動いたら動く。とどの馬もとっても頭がよく、激しくコースを外れることはありません。
本当におりこうさんたちです。
今回、私たち4人のほかに西洋人2名がそれぞれ一人参加で、計6人＋ガイド1名で2時間コースを楽しみました。
ガイドさんは「両足蹴って」とか「引っ張って」とか乗馬に必要な簡単な日本語しかわからない方だったので、途中の映画撮影についての説明などはすべて英語です。日本人はほとんどの方が半日コースなどに申し込まれるからか、日本人の2時間コースの参加は少ないのかなと思いました。
最後、ほかのグループとすれ違いましたが、20名ぐらい？の大人数でほぼ日本人のようでした。こちらは日本人ガイドさんがいらっしゃいました。説明を日本語で聞きたいのならこちらのコースがいいのかもしれません。
景色はとっても最高で、あっという間の2時間でした！
ロスト、ロストワールドやゴジラのほかにもたくさんの映画が撮影され、2012年に公開予定の「travel to the center of the earth」？のリメイク？撮影場所も通ります。
ワイキキからクアロア牧場までかなり遠いけど、機会があればまた2時間コースに参加したいです♪

Kualoa Ranch Horseback Riding & Jurassic Valley Movie Sites Tour
Our favorite excursion!

The two guides were very knowledgeable about the ranch and you run into some interesting leftover movie/TV sets throughout the valley that make for some great pictures!

そもそも夫の希望で参加しましたが、す~ご~く楽しかった！
絶対、滞空時間の長くなる、一番高く上がるコースをおすすめします！
上空は寒いです。またベルト類をぎっちり締めつけるので、肩口や腿の部分はある程度長さのある衣類をオススメします。
私は半袖Ｔ＆長袖シャツでしたが、腕の付け根に軽く跡がつきました。
髪の長い方はヘアゴムを！私は肩ぐらいの長さですがヘアゴムを忘れたため、飛び終わった後は髪が絡まりまくって大変でした。。
芝生地に両足で立って着地させてもらえます。
見ていると男性はお尻からのかたが数人いたので（うちの夫も）、インストラクターさんへの加重にもよるのかもしれません。
「待ち時間が長い」とあるのは、ＤＶＤを申し込んだ方々の編集時間待ちのようです。
それでも私たちのときは参加者10人、ＤＶＤ5人で、12時半ごろにはワイキキに戻れました。

I bought the video and I watched as soon as I got back home on the mainland and I still cant believe the beautiful sharks and how many of them were in the waters it was not what I expected but thankful. If you are reading my post you better do this.. One of the best tours I went on while I was in Hawaii...My last comment I cant wait to do it again someday..

TOP OF THE LIST! Must Do!

This is a MUST DO! in Hawaii and booking thru Hawaii activities was easy and they call to confirm my pick up time and gave all the details again. From the time we got on the bus it was laughter from Everyone! Polynesian CC was just way beyond our expectations - we could not get enough. By the end of the day we were pooped! If you really want to get your $$'s worth and see Hawaii for what it is...DO THIS TOUR! you will not regret it. (Then again who regret anything in Hawaii?) I say BIG THANKS! to Henry and Hawaii Activities!! Mahalo again!

a different kind of ride
Reviewed by: apelila, 2011/04/14My new husband and I booked a private ride with the Hawaii Polo Club while on our honeymoon. I've been on several other guided horseback trail rides in the past, but this was a little different. For one thing, the horses are actually polo-horses, not the standard "follow-the-leader" horses of a typical ranch. Because of this, you are better off if you have at least a little experience in handling horses. There were a few times that loud noises or unfamiliar things on the path caused some skittishness.
One thing that made me a little uncomfortable was that my activity voucher said we would need to sign a liability waiver before the ride. I assume this is a standard practice, but the staff at the club just saddled up our horses, and off we went. No forms, no waivers, they didnt even tell us their names, nor did they ask ours. Good thing (for them) our slightly skittish horses didnt dump us on our heads.

The Surf Bus North Shore Fun Tour - Snorkel, Bike, Kayak, SUP & Waimea Waterfall
Not a cater to you activity

He parked centrally then we walked to meet him. For the price I should not have expected to be taken to each destination I suppose, but I did. ２時間満喫♪
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2011/03/13いつもalan1にお世話になっております。２度目のクアロア牧場です。１度目は４種目選択する送迎付きのものに参加しましたが、前回乗馬１時間が物足りなかったので今回乗馬だけ２時間コースを申し込みました。やはり２時間だとコースも違ってバギーで行く奥の方まで行けるので十分満喫できました。ただ、送迎がないのでワイキキから自力で行かなければならないのが大変でした。アラモアナからBUSに乗ってかなり時間を要したし、本数も少ないので前後の移動時間にかなり時間を割くことになったのがもったいなかったです。特に帰りがバス停を通過する時間が定刻でないのと、ちょうど前のBUSが行った後だったのか次のBUSを１時間弱待つことになり、辺りは真っ暗になってきて無事ワイキキまでたどり着けるのか気疲れしてしまいました。オプションでレンタカーで行かない人用に割高でも送迎を頼めるようになっているといいのにと思いました。また機会があれば乗馬に行きたいのでその頃には送迎付きプランも設定されていれば嬉しいです。

怖くない

綺麗な海を見ながら、パラシュートで
下りてくるのも 楽しかった。
ただ、終わった後の待ち時間が多いので、
時間がない人は、レンタカーで行ったほうがいいかも。
１時間半くらい待ったかな。

こんな日もあるさ・・・

ホテルから、アラモアナセンターまで行き、乗り換えて52番のバスに乗り、一応運転手に”ハレイワ・スモールボートハーバー”と伝えて降りる場所を教えてももらって無事集合時間ギリギリに到着しました。
アラモアナセンターからバス来るまで結構待ちました。
私達以外の日本人は1組だけで、他は皆船は外国人で国際豊かでした。
アランネットで見たとおり、注意事項など日本語で書かれたファイルを渡されるくらいで説明は全部英語でしたが、ジェスチャーで海への入り方を説明されるので、見てればなんとかなります。
沖まで10分~15分位まで移動し、波も中々の揺れで、乗り物に弱い私は酔い止め飲んでも結構酔いました。
檻の中には4人づつ入りました。
楽しみにしていたので、具合悪い中でも念願のサメに会えると張り切って人より長く海にもぐってましたが、何匹か小魚は近くにいたものの、残念ながらサメはかなり深く遠くの下の方に小さく子サメ？が通り過ぎただけでほとんど見れず、ステッカーをもらって返金になりました・・・
でもスタッフの方々はとてもいい人たちだったので、また次回、絶対挑戦しようと思ってます。
帰りはハレイワを散策してから帰りました。

Dream Ride
Reviewed by: Teener49er, 2011/03/07This was an awesome ride on the beach. And YES you DO ride on the beach. The area is beautiful and could see the whales playing in the ocean as we rode. The white sands of the beaches against the turquoise water was breathtaking.
I took the private ride and it is definitely not a standard trail ride. The polo horses were very well behaved and easy to ride. I recommend this to anyone who loves horses and has always wanted to ride on the beach in Hawaii.
Would definitely book this again when back on the island.

North Shore Winter Whale Watch Sailing (from Haleiwa)

Reviewed by: The Neely Family, 2011/02/26We have never been whale watching before - we loved this first time experience! Captain Ryan and crew were great! They not only managed to help us see several whales (one baby just kept breaching - we have great pictures!) but we also were treated to turtles and spinner dolphins! When they lowered their microphone into the water and we heard the whales talking - it was just a huge bonus to a wonderful trip! We will definitely look them up if we get back to Oahu!!

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2011/02/06Awesome experience! Nothing like it. Plenty of parking and in an awesome area, Haleiwa. The ride out to the cage was not long, before a short safety brief. Once in the cage, it's a unique feeling to know one of the oceans apex predetors are swimming around you. They get pretty close, and is well worth price of the tour. A definite must do if visiting the island!

Reviewed by: Sharon, 2011/02/02I have been to the North Shore before and enjoyed this trip the most. We enjoyed the Waimia Falls park more due to the guides suggestions. he was very knowledgeable and interesting. I especially enjoyed the turtles. I would recommend it for the young and hardy or an old folk like me. Great fun!
