Reviewed by: sugarman, 2012/07/02ポリネシアンカルチャーセンターを過ぎてまもなくの左側に牧場の敷地が広がっている。白人ばかりで、ハワイというよりアリゾナあたりの感じ。たまたま学校が休みで小さな子供連れの家族が群れていたが、ほとんどは短い体験乗馬。NYから1.5年前にやってきたAmandaの案内でいざ出発。丘陵を林を思いっきり駆け抜ける爽快さは日本では味わいにくい。クレイン乗馬クラブを欲求不満でやめ、阿蘇夢大地のクラブで3年ほど乗っているが、あそこは坂が多い。当地は敷地が平坦ゆえ駈足が最高。30分の僕らだけのランチには、特大のサンドイッチ、ジュース、水、山盛りフルーツ、マカデミアチョコ1箱がついていて、到底食べきれない。チョコはおみやげにもらいました。英語ができないとちょっと心配。乗馬未経験者なら駈足なしのコースじゃないと受けてくれません。自己申告だけど免責書類にサインしますから、事故があっても自己責任ね。

そのチャンスが今回来て、初挑戦しました。もう感激の一言です！
私の体験記です。
？まず、センターに着くと、「誓約書」に何枚もサインします。「いかなる事故も一切損害賠償はありません。」と言った内容です。 要は何があっても自己責任です。これにサインするのも根性が必要でした。
？いよいよ順番が回って来てセスナに乗り込みます。でも慣れているインストラクターが緊張を解してくれました。セスナは離陸し、どんどん高度を上げます。本当に雲の上でした。
？落下する高度に達すると機内が一気に緊張感に包まれます。命綱をしっかり締めて ”その時”を待ちます。
機内のスライドが明きいよいよ落下です！！！
？ついに私の番になり、下を見ると雲の上です。。いざ！
落下！！！
もう言葉に表せない経験です。間違いなく生身で空を飛んでいます。
？途中、大きなパラシュートが開くと、一気にスピードが落ちる代わりに、眼下の景色を見る余裕が生まれます。
果てしなく青い海が眼下に広がります。これも感動！です。
無事に生還！？した時には大きな達成感もあります。
迷っている方！是非ともお薦めですよ。
最後に、写真とDVDはお薦めです。少し金額は高いのですがその価値は十分あります。センターで申し込むと一人一人に専用のカメラマンが付いてくれます。

Reviewed by: Tok2me64, 2012/06/25Considering this is my 2nd submission I will repeat it because it was so fun! I talked my brother into doing this activity with me so when he agreed I was excited. First of all the capt and crew were super cool!! I am a straight out Claustrophobe and was nervous about the snorkel and mask having never used them but after I gained my bearings it was awesome to see we were surrounded by one of earth's most feared predators. There really was nothing to fear but I had been secretly hoping for a Great White drive by but accepted the sharks we were surrounded by. It was phenomonal to be in their domain as spectators. Overall it was a very cool activity that I would definitely recommend to all, minus the fact that after being the first cage down the remaining time was left with me hanging my head over the railing and counting the minutes until our return to shore. What good is dramamine I ask?

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2012/06/23スカイダイビングを体験するというか、しようと思う機会はなかなかないので、ハワイ旅行をきっかけに妻と二人で体験してみました。
ワイキキのホテルよりバスで約１時間で、空港隣のセンターに到着。
お世辞にも上手いとは言えない日本語もどきのビデオを見せられ、誓約書にサイン。誓約書はビデオ以上に解読不能。直訳なので仕方ないとは思いますが、読みながらストレスがたまり、ちょっと不安に。
体重の記載があったが、ここ数日の暴飲暴食が気になっていたので、計測しようと受付に行き、日本語で話しかける。
スタッフは誰一人、日本語話せない。えっ？日本語通じないのか？仕方ないので片言の英語で説明し、体重計に連れて行かれる。体重計はポンド表示らしく、見たことない値に。
さらにふくよかな体重を支えるために20$の追加料金を請求される。このとき減量を決意。
そこから待つこと１時間。やっとこ呼ばれて器具を付けられ２~３の講習を受けたのちに飛行機に搭乗。外人インストラクターは見かけは怖いが「ドキドキ」と唯一知っている日本語を連呼して和ませてくれる。
あっと言う間に高度14,000フィートに到着。
あれよあれよと皆が飛び立っていく。覚悟を決めるまもなく私も空中に！
風はとにかくすごいが、落ちているの？という感じ。とにかく地上が近づいてこないため、自分がどうなっているのか良く分らない。
結構長い時間落下し、パラシュートが開く。
飛び立ってからあっという間だったためか、やっと落ち着いて周りを見れるように。
器具が股に挟まってやや痛いが気分は爽快。地上に降り立つまでスイングしてくれたりとサービス精神旺盛のインストラクターに感謝です。
この日は結構暑い日だったんですが、ダイビング中は結構冷えるため、長袖がお勧め。特に落下中は寒いくらいでした。
最後にチップ箱に＄20を投函してホノルルへ。
何だかんだでそこそこお金は払いましたが、日本でやるよりはだいぶ安いと思います。ハワイ行くなら是非挑戦を！

迷った末14000フィートからチャレンジしました！
ダイバー、カメラマンをはじめスタッフは陽気で面白い奴ばかりでした！
簡単なレクチャーと終えたら即出発。怖がる間もなく(約15分)で落下地点に到着し嫌がる暇もなくノースショアの美しい空にダイビング！！
今まで見たことのない景色と興奮を一度に味わえました☆
テンション上がります！
乗物酔いしやすい方は酔い止め必須です。(パラシュート落下中にとても揺れます)

Reviewed by: Lisa H, 2012/06/14First time on surf bus, me(45), niece(25), son(9), daughter(4). Only paid for 1 activity each because we didnt know the time schedule or what would work best. Pick up 8:15am. Nice tour of different beaches at north shore. Finally arrived at 1st activity spot at 10:30 me/daughter went to waimea beach, niece/son waimea falls and walked to us. Others did snorkeling. Picked up at 1pm. Next stop haleiwa where we got 1 paddle board and 1 double kayak. Son loved padded boarding by himself! We switched off and met back at 3. Others walked through town and ate. We did great with just one activity eac (2 waimea waterfall entrance, 1 paddle board, 1 kayak). Others did th snorkel then th paddle board the 2nd half. The falls walk was hot and long but my son still enjoyed. Beach was nice for me and my 4 year old to float in the calmer waves. Definitely enjoyed our trip! Nice ending was a couple days later I realized I had left my daughter's life jacket (brought a good one for my entir vaca

Polynesian Cultural Center Tickets with Island Sightseeing Tour

I took this tour with my family about a year ago, and my brother and I told ourselves we must come back with our friends to enjoy it again!
Our tour guide, Mr. (Insert Several Incredibly Long Names Here) Polamalu was incredible! Personable, hilarious, engaging, knowledgeable...pure awesome-ness!! He made the tour so much fun, and on behalf of my group I'd like to say "MAHALO" to him for his service! Side Note: During the Circle Island Tour, I recommend everyone try Dole Whip Ice Cream at the Dole Plantation stop. It is truly some of the best ice cream I've ever had.
The second leg of our tour included an activity-filled rollick through the Polynesian Culture Center! The Center is so clean, everyone is so accommodating and nice, and the activities were very enjoyable! I loved watching the coconut slicing and juicing presentation! It was so informative...and very funny, I might add! Every student and staff member working there is a physica

Should have rented a car instead
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/06/12Not much of a tour. Driver OK - very little information given during ride, made a few recommendations. Driver dropped everyone off then went surfing for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
Other folks in group disappointed in the amount of walking, lack of bike helmets and places where the road had no bike trail.

The only downfall was we paid $60 for a DVD of us swimming with the sharks, however when we went to watch it, it did not work!! : ( We tried to contact the crew but have had no reply.

一生に一度は！！

人生一度は、、と思い今回念願のスカイダイビングとなりましたが本当に忘れられない思い出となりました。
経験者はみなさんおっしゃってますが、所謂ジェットコースターのようなふわっと感は一度も感じることなく、パラシュートが開くまではただ強風の上で大の字になっているだけ（でも景色は自分の日常生活から考えられない素晴らしさ！）、パラシュートが開いてからはかなりの高度があるものの何の抵抗も感じることが無く、まさに空中散歩！
絶対にまたスカイダイビングをどこかでやろうと思わせてくれた素敵な1st diveとなりました。
ちなみに友人3名との申込みだった為送迎無しで申込み、レンタカーで行きました。
ハワイはレンタカーが非常に安いので左ハンドル問題無い方はご自身で行かれた方が時間の無駄はないかもしれません。

Hawaii Shark Encounters - North Shore Shark Cage Diving Tour from Haleiwa
Too much motion sickness
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/06/07My husband and I wanted to do something very unique for our honeymoon in Hawaii so we decided to do Shark Encounters! We were both very excited to do this. On the day of, we drove up to the northshore at 430am because we booked the 6am group. On arrival, the staff were very friendly & knowledgable. However, my husband and I were motion sick the whole entire time that we were out at sea. We did not enjoy this at all. We even took gravol to control our motion sickness but it did not work. When we got into the cage to see the sharks, we were still having motion sickness. It was nice to see the sharks close up but it felt like we were sick the whole entire time. Overall, it was an experience that we would never do again.

1時間の乗馬

最初参加を渋っていた妻は、途中からにこにこ顔。
終わった後では、また参加したいという始末。
妻は初めてだったので、まず不安と1人で乗るという心細さでいっぱい。しかし、鞍に跨りしばらくしたら、上手に躾けられた馬の利口さに心が落ち着き、乗馬の楽しさを満喫したようです。
ノースショアのビーチで乗馬体験のある私は、今回の牧場の中というロケーションが、すばらしかったです。
丘の上から見下ろしたカネオヘ湾や、チャナマンズハットの景色が気に入りました。
ただし、カメラやビデオは、片手で操作できる事が必須です。片手は手綱ですから。スタッフが場所により撮影してくれますが、やはり自分で撮りたいですものね。

クアロア牧場 乗馬体験

ロケーションは最高です。
映画やＣＭのワンシーンが目の前に拡がり、その映像の何倍もの迫力がありました。
が、雨季ということもあって小雨の中を出発。
レインコートを借りられるのですが、その汚さに閉口しました。ヘルメットも同様です。
なので、晴れていれば言うことなし、なわけです。
レンタカーで行くのであれば、帰りにノースへも寄れますので1日楽しめるとおもいます。
ご来場有難うございました。
雨の中とはいえ、景色を堪能していただいたようですね。
（ちなみにレインコート、ヘルメットは毎日クリーニングしています。）
今度はまた晴天のクアロアにいらしてください！！

Great Experience - Must Do!!!!
Reviewed by: Shawn Driscoll, 2012/06/02Swimming with the sharks was awesome with Hawaii Shark Encounter..... I liked how the boat was smaller so it was our family and 1 other group. We saw at least 15-20 sharks and they swam very close to us. The cage was a good size and you were able to move around freely. It was surreal being under water with the sharks. I would recommend if you have an Iphone to get the case so you can take the iphone under water. We had an old school underwater camera and it was difficult taking pictures with it and holding onto the cage. We will see if any of our pics turned out. In summary highly recommend this activity and Hawaii Shark Encounter was great!!!!

あくまで自己責任のスポーツなので覚悟を決めたらチャレンジするのもいいと思います！
飛んだら、今までに感じたことのない風圧・景色・スリルが味わえます。
靴は紐のきつくできるランニングシューズ的なものがいいと思います。カメラは持っていけません。撮影は有料で頼めます。とにかくすごいスポーツです。

Just be careful and try NOT to eat anything before coming to this activity as there are high chances of you puking after u are done and also u might feel like relaxing the rest of the day ...so donot plan something very important on the same day...
Though very exciting...I personally felt it is little dangerous too...
Staff did assure us the safety and told us they have been doin this since 11 years and not even a single person was hurt by a shark so far....which is gud

自然満喫！
Reviewed by: アイーダ, 2012/05/04草原のような牧場をイメージしていましたが、ちょっとした山道を登っていく思ったよりワイルドなコースで、頂上では海も見え、楽しい経験となりました。
カウガールたちの世話している馬たちは、よく調教されていて乗っていて全然不安を感じません。
時間の長さもちょうど良く、ぜひまた来たいと思います。

初心者で２hはキツイかな？と思いましたが、それほどでもなかったです。
馬はとてもおとなしいのですが、時々寄り道して葉っぱを食べてしまったり、何度もトイレタイムになったりして笑えました。
乗馬の前に日本語のビデオがあるので、注意事項はよくわかりました。
細い山道から海の見える道に行って、渓谷に入ると広々とした海とは全く違う風景。
ロストやゴジラ、ジュラシックパークの映画のロケ地の案内があって楽しめます。
ただ、参加者が全員英語圏でスタッフも英語しか話せないので解説の圏外にいた私たちは孤独感・・・
半日や１DAYのツアーは日本人が多いらしいですね。
現地で直接申し込みより安いので事前申し込みがオススメです。
ご来場有難うございました。
景色が雄大で、見とれているうちに2時間があっという間にたってしまいますよね。

送迎付にしなかったので、市バスで行ったのですが、英語が話せないので無事に到着するかドキドキでした。

言葉にならない！
Reviewed by: のる, 2012/04/30正直参加希望は出したが怖くなって辞めようかとも考えていましたが、
現地に行ってスタッフと話をしてその不安も全て消え去りました。
結果14000ﾌｨｰﾄからの自由落下は言葉にならない経験でした。
私の担当したインストラクターとカメラマンもとても気さくで、
一緒のダイビングを出来たことも大変貴重な思い出ともなりました。
(結構チップも多めにわたしてしまいました)
日本で参加すると倍近く費用がかかります。
美しいオワフの景観を楽しむことも出来ることを考えると
ダイビングしてみたいと考えている人には
非常にお徳とも思います。

Reviewed by: MARK, 2012/04/30THE DRIVER/GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND KEPT US ENTERTAINING FOR THE MOST PARTS. HE GAVE US CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS AND WAS A GREAT ASSET TO HAVE IN THIS TOUR.
WE COULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME ON THE ISLAND TOUR INSTEAD OF THE CULTURAL CENTER.
FINALLY THE NIGHT SHOW WAS WELL DONE. SUPRISED TO SEE HOW STUDENTS COULD PUT UP A PROFESSIONAL SHOW LIKE THIS. SOMETIMES I WONDER WHETHER THEY COME HERE TO STUDY FOR A CAREER OR ENTERTAIN THEMSELVES.

催行中止に…（涙）
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2012/04/13今回のシャークツアーに出発途中で催行中止になってしまいました（波の都合で）。さすがに、天候等の都合の事なので仕方がないですが、できたら出発する前に催行中止を教えてほしかったです。また、日本語対応できるスタッフさんがいらっしゃらなかったのが少し不安でした。
この度は、当日の悪天候を理由にご参加いただけず誠に残念に思っております。お客様の安全を第一に考え、ツアーの中止を決定いたしました。また、こちらのツアーの催行は英語にて行われており、ノースショアでの状況の変化によりホテル出発後に催行中止が決定する場合もございます。何卒ご理解ください。またハワイにご旅行の際に参加をご検討いただけましたら幸いです。お客様のお越しを心よりお待ちいたしております！

強烈～！
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2012/04/13スカイダイビング初体験です！日本語対応のスタッフさんもおり、安心して参加することができました！インストラクターの方は日本語を話せませんでしたが、明るくてノリも良く、本当に楽しい時間を過ごせました。スカイダイビング自体は想像以上に強烈でしたが、一度は経験しても悪くはないインパクト抜群の最強アクティビティでした。やって良かったと思います！
