HIGHLIGHT OF MY TRIP
Reviewed by: TCheesman, 2012/09/11When I first started planning my Hawaii trip, this was the NUMBER 1 adventure I wanted to do. How often do you get to say... 'yeah, I swam with sharks'. Now amount of words can describe how amazing, thrill seeking, over the top this adventure was...but I'm going to try. I first want to commend the staff of Hawaii Activities. For the first time in 11 years, the boat broke down the day i was suppose to go. Just my luck But the staff worked their magic and reschedule me and I was able to full-fill the highlight of my trip. It was SOOO unbelievably easy too because they make all the accommodations for you. Once at the boat site, you jump on and set off. I would recommend the earliest time available. The earlier, the smoother the waves FYI. So once out there, you are just in awe. There are sharks. AND you are about to get in a cage surrounded by them! I was so scared but this is something I knew I had to do. So i sucked it up and the moment you put your head under the water.... you are stun

壮大な景色。

加えてパワースポットでもあるクアロアの自然を
思い切り味わえて満足できました。
最初は怖かったけど10分もすれば慣れてきます。
馬にも個性があるらしく、真面目な子もいれば
草ばっかり食べている子もいます。
ちなみに帽子は被ったほうが良いと思います。
太陽がカンカンだと結構きついかも。
写真を撮りたい方は、片手操作になるので
首からストラップを掛けた方が無難です。
片手で馬を操るのは難しく危ないので、
写真は程々に。
大自然の中、パカパカとゆっくり
乗馬は楽しかったです。

We waited at the wrong Shark Encounter dock because there was no sign. Otherwise, it was 5-star and highly recommended to everyone!

Definitely a day to remember !
Reviewed by: David & Carol NZ, 2012/09/06Having taken the Grand Circle Tour on a previous holiday we decided to do it again. Keow our driver and guide made the second time so enjoyable. His vast knowledge and information along with his friendly personality made it a day to remember.
Giving us photo taking stops along the way and interspersing his commentary with his own humour kept us well amused
It was a long day so maybe not so suitable for famililes with young children but for all other ages well worth considering as it gave the opportunity to see many areas that we would have otherwise missed , the beautiful beaches, magnificent views and interesting places. These along with our very special guide definitely made this a day we will always remember.

Waimea Bay Summer Snorkel & Sail Cruise (from Haleiwa Harbor)
Disappointing Snorkel trip
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/09/03We paid $100 each for four of us expecting to enjoy some unique snorkeling from 9 - 1 pm with lunch provided. The two man crew was friendly, however, we were taken to a beach that we had passed on the drive to the snorkel. We didn't see much of anything and the people on the beach were snorkeling with us. We were provided a sandwich and a beverage on the way back but no cookies or fruit as described in their listing. Also, no sails up either way and we were traveling so fast on the return that we arrived at 12:15 instead of 1 pm. Others on this trip expressed disappointment as well. The consensus of my family was that it was a very expensive boat ride. I wouldn't do this snorkel again and I don't recommend it. Low value for big price. Shark tank adventure was much better from same bay.

Experience of a life time!!

With the help of my AWESOME trainer (Jo) and camer guy (Eric) everything went smooth and I highly recommend those guys for the ultimate experience of a first timer! I went with my girfriend and we both had a blast no regrets!!

The Surf Bus North Shore Fun Tour - Snorkel, Bike, Kayak, SUP & Waimea Waterfall
Best Time!!
Reviewed by: Dianna, 2012/08/31I chose to go to the Waimea Falls and Botanical Garden and on the Kayak ride...also got to lay around on Waimea Beach and jump off the rock! I had a total blast. The driver/guide was knowledgable and friendly and made sure we all had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone.

興奮しますよ！

たまたま一緒になった4人組のアメリカ人男性は檻の中ではしゃぎまくってました。
スリルを味わうにはもってこい。
但し、ワイキキから距離が遠いことと、船が結構揺れることがネック。
生のサメは一見の価値あり。

感じで楽しかったです。
以前、何かでスタッフの対応が悪いと聞いたことが
ありましたが、とても良い方で（日本語は話せない）、
すごく丁寧でやさしく、安全に配慮してくれました。
大自然を満喫できて、とても楽しかったです。

かなりワイルド

海ばかりのアクティビティにプラスするには、新鮮でよかったです。馬もおとなしくてかわいかったです。自分で操作しなくても一列になって前の馬について行ってくれるので、楽でした。早く走りたいかたには物足りないかもしれません。
送迎なしなので、現地まで自分たちで行かなければなりません。目印がそこまで大きくないので、バスの運転手さんに降りる旨を伝えておく必要があります。また、帰りは一時間に一本のバスに乗るため時間を調べておいて、牧場で待つほうが賢明です。

まず、牧場の位置がわかりづらく（ホノルルから車で行くと入り口の看板が逆方向からしかわからないと判明しました）且つ山道のような一本道を信じて進んでいくのは昼間なのでできたかと思います。
officeと書かれた小屋で受付のバウチャーを見せて完了。馬の乗り方の説明を受けて（ほとんどゼスチャーでわかります。）いざ出発です。
何せ馬のご機嫌次第ですので列から離れて遅れると急げとばかりに走らされます。馬的にはチャージさせられていきなり走ることもあります。ここでスリルがありますが怖いといえば怖いかもです。
全体には楽しく過ごせますが、でこぼこ道が大半でアップダウンですので初心者には少しハードかなと感じました。

Awesome ride!

SHARK!!!!!!
Reviewed by: George, 2012/08/13Didn't know what to expect, but knew what we wanted to see......SHARKS!!!!
And we saw at least 15 swimming around us. For those who didn't get in the water (like my wife), the guys running the boat did what they could to get the sharks to the top so they could see them, too. Nice that they thought not to leave those folks out of the adventure.
But the big thrill is being in the cage with all of those sharks all around you. We got terrific pictures with just the sharks and with us in the foreground and them in the back.
Great trip. We recommend it. P.S. take the early trips as the afternoons can get rough on the ocean.

達成感☆

飛行機の関係とか言ってましたけど、着いてから簡単な説明を聞いてから3時間くらい待たされやっとスカイダイビング！
終わったあとも2時間近く待たされちょっとテンション下がります。
リピーターの方はこんなに待たされたことはないとは言ってましたが、ハイシーズンに行く方はなにか本とか時間つぶせるものを持っていくといいかと思います。
あと、私の時だけでしたがインストラクターが着地に失敗して、私は腕を怪我しました。
軽傷でしたが、長袖・長ズボンの方が安心かと思います。

良い経験になりました
Reviewed by: ちー, 2012/08/09 彼氏の希望で参加しました。高所恐怖症の私はしぶしぶオッケー・・・という気分での参加でした。
参加してからの感想としては、正直、思ったよりは怖くないなぁといったところでしょうか。一緒に飛んでくれるダイバーさんは一日に10回程飛ぶと話していたのでこれで死ぬことはまずないだな、と思いました。
彼氏の話によると、実際飛んでいる時間は5分程度。フリーフォールは落ちて1，2分間でパラシュートが開いてからは3分程です。私はフリーフォールの時は息をするのと、（写真・ＤＶＤを頼んでいたので）カメラを見るので必死でした。パラシュートが開いてからは景色がすごくきれいで感動しました。テレビでの映像を見ているみたいでした。降りた後はすごく疲れていました（笑）彼氏は楽しすぎてもう一回飛びたいと言っていました。
日本や他の国ですることを思うと写真やＤＶＤを頼んでも安いので頼んでおいても良いかと思います。帰国してからみんなで見て楽しんでいます。あと、上空はかなり寒いので、長袖で行くことをお勧めします。

Kualoa Ranch Horseback Riding & Jurassic Valley Movie Sites Tour
Fun Adventure
Reviewed by: Dotsy, 2012/08/08Had alot of fun exploring the Kualoa Ranch. First day it rained and 5 minutes into the ride - we cancelled, however, they accomodated us with another day. The second try, it was also raining in the morning, they supplied us with rain coats and we were on our way. It stopped raining and we had a beautiful ride. Our guide was very informative and alot of fun. The land is amazing and beautiful and the horses wonderful. The scenery was absolutely fabulous and I would recommend this Hawaiin adventure as part of your trip.

Hawaii Shark Encounters - North Shore Shark Cage Diving Tour from Haleiwa

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/07/24We made this a family affair. My two kids, 16 & 6 enjoyed the sharks. The water was rough and it was very hard to hold onto the cage. I had to hold my 6yr old, he was not strong enough to hold on himself and the waves knocked him around. That said he loved it. My 16 yr old had no problems and tooks some great pics with the underwater camera. The sharks came right up to the cage and they looked them eye to eye. I tend to get sea sick so I wore a sea sick patch, which unfortuntly was not enough. The worst part was sitting in the boat while the other group was in the cage. Everyone agreed that they would do it again, but compared to some of the other tours we did, this one seemed a little pricy. We were only out for about 1.5 hours with about 15 - 20 minutes in the cage, which was just right but per minute - expensive!

Great Adventure!

I have always wanted to swim with sharks and am so glad we were able to fit this in during wedding week. Despite the windy rough weather, the crew felt comfortable going forward with the adventure after deeming the conditions safe enough. They were very professional and provided great customer service and were very open in providing information. The water and cage were the most comfortable place to be on our adventure and the sharks provided a great show. The view was spectacular and we all survived. I would definitely do this again and recommend this to anyone considering this activity. Thank you Hawaiiactivities and Jessica for helping us decide on this adventure. Great job by all!

A Great Ride

I haven't been on a horse in years and it was my husband's first time riding. Ross matched us with great horses and took us on a great ride. We helped herd cows, went into the brush and up a mountain for views that were just amazing. This ride was truly one of the highlights of our most amazing trip to O'ahu. Thank you!

This was one of the best parts of our vacation. Our guide, Chris, was very personable and provided tons of information about the North Shore and the agriculture. He took several pictures for us and was very accommodating. Five stars for Chris. We would recommend this for anyone. The scenery is breathtaking. We recommend the sunset ride and request Chris for your guide!

Reviewed by: 雷太, 2012/07/12乗馬はクアロア牧場で2度程体験しましたが、別の景色を見たいと今回こちらの牧場のサンセット乗馬を体験しました。
個人経営でこじんまりしていたので、話やすかったです。ガイドしてくれた女性は英語しかできませんが、とても優しく、馬もよく慣れていて安心して楽しめました。そこの牧場には個人所有の馬もおり、私たちが乗馬中に出会った馬がやんちゃで、目の前で落馬してしまい、唖然としました。私たちのガイドさんは看護師の資格ももっているとのことで、緊急対応し、救急車を呼んだのですが、その間私たちは緊張の面持ちで待機していました。自然の動物を相手にするのはこういったリスクも伴うものだというのを痛感しました。
ガイドさん曰く、馬の性格と乗り手の技量があっていないと、事故も起きやすいとのこと。しかしここの牧場の馬は、性格もよく、きちんと調教されているとのことで、最後まで安心して楽しめました。雄大な景色とサンセットを見て、アクシデントのことは教訓とし、楽しい1時間半の乗馬でした。

They really did bring us to the perfect place especially for 1st time snorklers. We saw tons of beautiful creatures to include sea turtles, eel, giant sea lion and a shark on the way to our site. Plus our hosts were nice, proffessional and at the same time laid back and made us feel at home. Thank You.
