We had the best day!!! From the beautiful weather, the calm kayak conditions, the lush hiking environment, the spectacular falls and our amazing guide Justice, we could not have had a better experience. Justice was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, funny (dad jokes lol), patient and an overall great guide who thoroughly enjoys what he does.
As novice kayakers, we had no issues but the river was very calm with very little wind.
As intermediate hikers we found the trail fairly easy to navigate as long as we were mindful on the rocks and roots. On the hike, you WILL get muddy and you WILL get wet crossing 4 streams and 1 river but it’s all worth it once you reach the breathtaking falls.
The lunch supplied by the tour was pretty good too as we picnicked at the falls.
Hiking shoes/sandals or running shoes are best. For anyone with mobility issues, they may find parts of the hike difficult.
We would highly recommend this tour as it was the highlight of our time on Kauai!!

英語が話せたり読めないと不便

現地に到着するとタブレットで搭乗、参加の手続きをします。もちろん全て英語です。誰も助けてくれる人はいません。放置です。もちろん誰が悪いわけではありません。日本ではないので当然です。
住所や電話番号、緊急連絡先など色々な入力が必要です。なんとか入力を終え燃油サーチャージ代を支払うとビデオ写真の撮影オプションを聞かれます。こちらは現地で支払うとかなり安いです。終わった後からでも購入できます。メールがきます。購入しないと何回か案内がきます(笑)
こちらはビデオだけ現地で買うのがおすすめです。GoPro1台での撮影の為、写真は動画の切り抜きと思われます。かなり解像度が低いです。動画を自分で切り取ったらいいと思います。
肝心のスカイダイビングですが何一つ怖くないです高すぎて地面を感じないせいでしょうか。ゆっくり落ち着いて景色を楽しめます。
パラシュートが開くと着地に備えてなのか何度も旋回そます。乗り物酔いとかした事ないですがかなり酔います。はやく降りてほしいと思うぐらい気持ち悪いです。酔い止め薬絶対飲むことおすすめします。
ただ酔い止め飲んでもう1回参加したいですwww

Rising river cancelled half the trip but not half the cost.

The guide was excellent, the river and surroundings were breathtaking. Unfortunately, high winds and a rising river stopped our paddles without ever seeing the falls. Weather is unpredictable, but since we paddled twice as hard against the winds, it was exhausting. Thought there might be a discount of some kind since our 4 hr. tour only lasted 2 1/2. Better luck next time, I guess. Would do it again with better conditions.

We were so fortunate to have our guide all to ourselves. He was so informative, patient, and watchful to make sure we had the best experience. The kayaking was challenging but Fun!!, The Hike to the waterfall was also challenging!! Never crossed a small river hanging on to a rope!!! It was Amazing!!!! You haven't really lived until you have lived this Adventure!! 100% worth every minute and every penny!! This was a birthday present for our son and it wound up being a present for all of us.

今回のツアーに日本人はいませんでしたが、インストラクターの方が優しか教えて下さり安心することができました！
地上6000フィートの景色は圧巻の一言！
そこから3.2.1の掛け声と共にフリーフォール20秒ほど、『あ、これは◯んでしまうな』と一瞬思いましたが10秒ほどでフリーフォールにも慣れ〝エビゾリ〟しました！(フリーフォールの姿勢は海老反り)
本当に貴重な体験をすることができ、やって良かったなと思いました！
但し、高所恐怖症、ジェットコースターが苦手な人にはおすすめしません！笑

スカイダイビングやインストラクターさんは最高だがその後の事務対応が最低最悪です。困り果てました。

スカイダイビングや、インストラクターさんは最高でした。
当日「人生の中で数少ない貴重な経験だった」と思える素敵な体験でした。
今回予めビデオと写真撮影のセットで依頼しておりました。
その写真とビデオは一緒に飛ぶインストラクターの腕のカメラで、当日、別のカメラマン(外側から撮ってもらえる)のビデオを139ドルで依頼できるとの事で追加で支払いました。合計で602ドル。
数日でデータが届き、観てみると編集に大きなミスが、、、アウトサイドカメラと腕のカメラ映像がミックスで編集されているのですが、アウトサイドカメラの映像だけ上下逆さまでした！！！
なので、逆さまと正常な映像が切り替わりながら流れている状態。
日本に帰国後、問い合わせからメールでこの内容を送ると、恐らく自動返信で「ちゃんと対応するのでご安心を」的なのが届き、数日後「あなたのリンク」と一言とビデオのリンクのURLが添付されており、実際観てみると、まさかの、一切直っておらず、全く同じ編集ミスのままの映像。
再度、「アウトサイドカメラの編集が上下逆さま、ハンドカメラは正常の向きで編集されている為、直してほしい」という内容と、自分の予約番号の添付や逆さまのスクショを添付して、３度程送りましたが、自動返信のみで完全に無視されたままでした。
英語が達者でないので一度の問い合わせを送るのも一苦労ですし、問い合わせ以外のアドレスも調べて全部で８回送りました。
問い合わせへメールで４回、インスタも見つけて「メッセージ」へも送りましたが何故か送れない仕様になっているとの表示で送れず。
自動返信されてきた添付の問い合わせが別のアドレスだったので、そこへも４回送信。
たった一度、直っていないリンクが送られて来たのみで全てのメールを無視されました。
せっかく思い出として残そうと、そこそこの料金を払ったのに適当な編集をされ、苦労して何度も送ったメールへの対応は無視。酷いです。
返信が来なくて約１か月、もう対応はしてもらえなそうなので泣き寝入りだと思います。
(当日もカメラがちゃんと入っているかという確認を散々してやっぱり入っていなかったようでした。飛んだ後に判明してももう遅い。英語がつたない中、しつこく確認して本当によかった。その後、この編集ミス、そして対応しない、どうなってるんですかね？最悪です。)

We had such an amazing time! If your lucky enough to get guides Cousin Kemo and Cousin Giggles then your in for a treat. They were both super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and sites. I loved the waterfall and the fact we got to go swimming in the pond and under the waterfall! Next time we are on the island I will definitely book this tour again.

First timers will experience an exhilaration rush of amazing views. Even if you are afraid of heights don’t be, the crew are professional experts to ease your worries. They know what they are doing (with a flare of joking) to take your nerves from reminding you you’re going to be hundred of feet up in the air. It’s worth it! You’ll appreciate the picturesque palm trees, streams and lastly the huge waterfall. This took my breath away but in a good way. Bring your camera for all the unforgettable shot. What you show all your social media friends and family will surely make them jealous. Love the experience highly recommended!

人生で一回は体験したいという思いから、申し込みました！
セスナから飛んで落下するというよりは、空を飛んでいる感覚でした！フリーフォール中は物凄いGがかかり、落下音が凄かったです！
気持ち良くて最高でした☆
上空は気温が低いので、風を通しにくい薄手の長袖と長ズボンがあったほうがいいと思います！
半袖、半ズボンで参加した人は落下中、凍りついて感覚がなくなったと言っていました！
写真と動画撮影付きのプランにして正解だったと思いました！一生の記念と思い出になりました☆
英語は分からなくても、日本語を話せるインストラクターがいたので安心して問題なく体験できました！
一生に一回の経験として、是非おすすめします☆

心が震えた

50歳を超え、初のスカイダイビング！
団体旅行でしたが送迎付きで一人で参加しました。
色々投稿を見ていたので当日もピックアップから
チェックイン、ダイブ、帰りのホテルまでスムーズ
に参加出来ました。
セスナから飛び出す前はビビッて足がガクガク
してましたが、飛んでからは本当に最高の一言
でした。
本当に落ちるというより、浮いていると言った
感覚です。雲を抜けてパラシュートが開くと
ハワイの光景の美しさにも完全に魅了されました。
年甲斐もなくひたすら感激で叫び続けてました。
感動で心が震えました。
インストラクターの方はナイスガイで、ずっと
盛り上げてくれ、楽しさが倍増されます。
最初、ビデオ無しで予約してましたが、やっぱり
記録に残しておきたく、現地で追加購入しました。
料金は高いですが大満足です。
人生最後と思ってトライしましたが、また機会が
あれば必ず飛びたいと思います。

We were reassured that the tour would be a "go" even though rain was threatening. The group was a bit hesitant but the trip went without a hitch, even when the skies opened up and we got dumped on. The tubing portion was great and a lot of fun for all. Kiersten was a great lead guide, and her team made sure that everyone was safe. Lunch was good, but dampened by the downpour. Overall, I believe that everyone in the group had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this adventure. Special kudos to Kiersten.

ピックアップ時間通りでした。大きい声でアナウンスしてくれてたのですぐにわかりました！
移動中は、ドライバーさんが街のことを説明してくれながら向かいました。
チェックインは各自タブレットで操作をして、同意書にサインをし、ロッカーに荷物を入れ待機。
ロッカーへは全ての荷物を入れた方がいいです！
帽子やサングラスもです！
インストラクターの方が装備を整えてくれて、飛び方を教えてくれました！英語が苦手な私ですが、インストラクターの方が日本語を交えながら教えてくれたのでわかりやすかったです。
いざ、機内へ…
上がっていくのが1番ドキドキしましたが、飛んでしまえば気持ちよくて本当に最高でした！！！
耳がパチパチと痛くなりましたが、終わってからは平均でした。また機会があればぜひ参加したいです。

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim

The adventure starts with kayaking out of the marina and up the river. The current is very slow, so you have plenty of photo opportunities and chances to enjoy the views. Wear a hat and sunscreen, you don't have shade for much of this portion.
Next is a hike through the rainforest. 95% of the hike is easy. There are a few river crossings, muddy inclines, and slippery/uneven footings. The hike is definitely not grueling, and I never felt tired. But if someone had mobility or balance issues, they would struggle at a few spots. I'd take my kids, but not my grandma.
Third is lunch at the waterfall. It's an uneven/rocky area, but our lunch was good. The views here are amazing. The pool of water is VERY cold. It's shallow enough to walk all the way under the waterfall.
You get about an hour at the waterfall. Then you hike and kayak back to where you started.
Our guide was Justice. He was very knowledgeable about the plants, wildlife, and history of the area. He had lots of interesting stories. The trip was enjoyable & he definitely added to the fun. Justice will tell you that "Hawaii is magic" and after this vacation we might agree.
When we eventually make it back to Kauai, visiting the waterfall will surely be on the list of activities.

奈落の底

奈落の底に落ちる感じが癖になりそう。地面が遠いので恐怖感はない。もっと身近に、安く出来る所があればリピーターになってしまいそう。

どうしてもやりたくて1人で参加しました。
上空は寒いとの情報があり、ウィンドブレーカーを着ましたが、降りてからパラシュートが開くまで、何分かわかりませんが、風圧によりファスナーが喉を押し苦しかったです。トレーナーにすればよかった。直すに直せなかったです。ゴーグルにはしっかり肉を入れないと私みたいな状態になります。
空の旅は自分へのご褒美の時間となり、海、空、地上と景色がよくやってよかったです。

日本人には勧めない

インストラクターらが、ジャップと昨日も飛んだぜと話していた。
ジャップって客に聞こえないところで差別用語使うならともかく、命預かる仕事で呆れる。
日本人嫌いから、怪我でも起きないか不安になる。
自分のインストラクターが、その話に乗らなかったのはまだ良かったが。
別の人と飛ぶ人がわざわざしつこくジャップと。
カメラマンも良い人だったが。
一部の差別的な人間のせいでイメージ悪くなる。
当然、自分は日本人の友達には勧めない。
安全、安心な環境を提供してほしい。
日本人嫌いなら、それは仕事以外で。
運転手、カメラマン、同行スカイダイバーには、チップを要求される。
それは良いのだが、こんな連中に対しては払いたくはなくなる。
