This was an excellent experience for our entire family!

The food was delicious and even the hot chocolate was yummy. When we go back to Oahu in the future, we will do this particular cruise again. I recommend it to everyone of all ages.

One of the highlights of my trip!!
Reviewed by: Lori, 2021/07/29We had a great time on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch tour! Everything about the trip was well planned and very organized! The sandbar was a great experience because you are walking in shallow water in the middle of a bay!! The snorkeling was my favorite part. The reef that we snorkeled on was crescent shaped. Being the crew did such a great job of watching us - I was able to swim around the entire sight without being in fear of danger. It was such a peaceful experience! I even had a turtle swim right under me! I he was just about a foot underneath! The lunch was perfect and delicious. It was cooked right on the boat while we were on the sandbar!
A need touch that I appreciated was that they had laundry baskets underneath the seats on the boat. We kept out belongings in them and this kept them from getting all wet and sandy!
Thank you, so much for a wonderful time!!!!

Beautiful Sandbar but waves dependent on weather
Reviewed by: Mitch, 2021/07/28We went out on a cloudy morning accompanied by showers. The waves were choppy too. The sandbar was beautiful despite the weather, didn’t see any turtles on the sandbar but my daughter and husband who went with the snorkeling group saw turtles by the reef. The current was stronger there though but Kevin, the tour guide made sure everyone was safe. There was not enough paddle boards nor floaties for everyone on board and some groups hugged theirs till the end. We shared our paddle board with another couple. Trevor was okay but he tended to give attention to certain groups whereas Kevin was the one whom I have noticed that was attentive to everyone.
Aloha Mitch, we're very sorry for the disappointment for not being able to see the turtles. Mostly they are in the reef area, sometimes it can be seen around the boat. Hopefully on your next visit, you'll see more turtles

We were skeptical at first that we would see any turtles, but one came right up to the boat and swam around with us while we were swimming and then we saw several more on the snorkel trip around the reef. Highly recommend this activity!

The tour of the Na Pali coast was very informative and beautiful. Make sure to wear sunscreen on the boat. Overall a great experience.

Waikiki Guided Turtle Snorkel Tour with Snacks & Drinks - Holokai Catamaran
Great Crew
Reviewed by: Caren Wise, 2021/07/24We really enjoyed our snorkeling trip with Holokai Catamaran. The crew was very attentive, funny and friendly. They made a point to make sure we saw turtles while we were in the water, and they periodically asked if we were doing ok or needed help with anything throughout the cruise. Any cautionary instructions that they gave us were very warm and polite, not bossy or curt which was especially nice for the kids on our trip.
The snorkeling itself was a little disappointing, but it had nothing to do with Holokai. We just happened to go at a time of year that was really busy. There were several other tour boats snorkeling in the same spot, so the water was crowded. It was a little stressful navigating around other snorkelers and trying to avoid getting a flipper in your face. But again the Holokai crew was in the water with us doing their best to make sure we were seeing turtles and fish.
After snorkeling, the crew let us jump off the boat and swim freely in the water. After that they put up the sails and took us for a super fun ride out past Diamond Head. That was definitely our kids’ favorite part of the experience.
Thank you to Holokai for making the this excursion fun and exciting for our families.

The snorkeling was really good, but the team on the boat from the Captain to everyone else in their roles were all super fun. The kids loved the slide and the platform to jump off. Kaneohe Bay Kayak & Snorkel Self-Guided Tour [Tour Not Available]
Fun times on the water!
Reviewed by: Oll fam., 2021/07/245 adults and 1 5 year old. Only one person with experience on the water via dragon boating.
Becky checked us in and let us know the water conditions weren’t good for beginners at 8am, we had to pass the time for 90 minutes but it made it worth it.
Joey helped set us up with pfds and the kayaks and answered all of our questions. We had a ton of questions. Joey was awesome.
We had a 4 hour block but we called it a day after 2 hours on the water, we saw some turtles, inconspicuous sea cucumbers and a lot of reefs.
We brought our own dry bags but you can rent from them as well. You can also rent snorkeling equipment.

Worth it!
Reviewed by: Dsg, 2021/07/24As a family of four with two teens, we had an excellent time with Mike and his team! The pickup site at aloha landing at Sheraton Waikiki was easy to find and they were on time at 9:15 am. It was a short trip to kaneohe Bay and then we transferred to the boat to the sandbar. When we arrived it was fairly breezy, the water was about mid thigh. For those with sensitive feet good to bring slipper socks and since a bit cool, a long sleeved rash guard was helpful. We explored the sandbar which is 6 mi long and there was a volleyball as well. The lunch was super delicious hamburgers, beans, chips and drinks. We saw a few turtles, then headed to the reef. Two of us snorkeled And we were given snorkel gear, flippers and life vests. We were given about an hour or maybe less but it seemed ample time to go around the entire reef! We saw a lot of fish! When we got back on the boat they poured warm water on us and we also drink hot chocolate which was nice. Two in our family stayed in the boat and they still enjoyed watching from the boat, plus they took our pics so that was nice. Everyone was courteous, great customer service. I would definitely go again when we come back to Oahu!!

Reviewed by: Hiro, 2021/07/21参加者は半分以上が日本人以外で、ガイドの説明も基本はすべて英語でした。日本式のきめ細かいツアーを予想していたので、少し期待が外れましたが、スタッフは優しく丁寧に対応してくださりそれはそれで楽しめました。スタッフの一人が日本人なので必要ならば日本語で対応してもらえます。
サンドバーでは、腰の上あたりまで水がありました。当日は風と波が強く、浮かんでいると流されるので、少し大変でしたが、泳いだり、シュノーケリングをしたりと楽しめました。風がなければ、もっと水が澄んでいてきれいなのかもしれません。
ウミガメはサンドバーではいませんでしたが、行き帰りの船の上から数匹確認できました。
もう一度参加して、今度は風のない状況で試してみたいです。

Just ok..save your money

Meat/cheese. Best part was the bag of chips! Mai tais had no alcohol. Save your money not worth it. Today, I saw more turtles when I was surfing by the hotel.
