Mauna Kea Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour with Dinner - Hawaii Forest & Trail

Reviewed by: NLKTravel, 2016/11/19Pros: Our guide was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. You go from sea level to about 13,800 feet, so remember to drink water. The views at 13,803 feet were beautiful. The observatories are interesting to see (from the outside). You observe stars with an 11" telescope at the visiter center parking lot. The guide points out stars/planets that everyone gets a chance to see. They give you jackets with gloves available.
Cons: It is a bumpy ride and some of the road is dirt. The "hot" meal was more of a box lunch. Bathroom breaks are limited. You do climb to 14,000', be prepared for the climate and altitude change. I was under the impression we could see more of the observatories, you only see them from the outside and are not allowed in.

空港に到着した際、スーツケースが壊れていたのですが、航空会社にクレームする間もとても親切に付き添って下さいました。また、大きなミニバスが我々のみの貸切で、ゆったりと乗車・移動できたのも嬉しかったです。またハワイ島を訪問する際は、是非利用させて頂きたいと思います。

Sea Quest Kealakekua Bay Snorkel Tour & Rafting Sea Cave Expedition
Fantastic trip

We really enjoyed the tour of the coastline we were given between sites and all local history tidbits along the way. The captain was always certain to take us to a spot with calm waters and good visibility. Saw so many green sea turtles. Highly recommend Sea quest.

Oceanfront Royal Kona Luau with Open Bar - Voyagers of the Pacific Show
why not.

日程が良く、PRIDE OF AMERICA が停泊していました！
スッタフさんは日本語ができず全て英語での説明でなんだかさっぱりわかりませんでしが
なんとか無事行うことが出来ました。
完全に日本語が話せなくてもいいと思いますが、簡単な挨拶などはできるともっと好感が
持てると思います。

Reviewed by: ITO, 2016/10/19日本からハワイ島へバカンスを楽しみにやって来ました！今回の旅行で初めてのハワイに！そして丸々1週間ハワイ島で過ごしました。大自然の中での生活はとてもリフレッシュ出来るものでした。
私たちはワイコロアにあるヒルトンキンクスランドのコンドミニアムに宿泊。
今回はツアー先まで送迎なしだったので借りていたレンタルカーで現地ホノコハウ・マリーナへ向かいました。
19号線をひたすら南下し、Kealakehe Pkwyを右折、すぐに目印の青い屋根のモールが見えたので迷いませんでした。
少し早めに着いたので周りを散策するととても雰囲気のある港町で楽しみが増して来ました！
建物に入ると白髪の老父がお出迎え！英語がほとんど話せない私はなんとか「グットモーニング」と話仕掛けると笑顔で対応してくれましたが英語はわかりませんと伝えると日本語の書いてある注意事項と同意書、そして今回のツアーの内容と名所の説明書きを渡されました。
実際に参加したのは私たちを含め日本から二組、アメリカから来ていたご家族グループ三組と14人位が参加(中には小学生低学年程のお子様も4人いました)
ボートに乗り込む時港にはエイが現れ、ワクワクが高まります！港を出港して1〜2分で野生のイルカが現れみんなで興奮しました！
まさかいきなり野生のイルカが現れてボートと並行して泳いだり、ジャンプしたりとまるで歓迎してくれているようでした！
目的地はキャプテン・クックの慰霊碑がある場所へ！海上を物凄いスピードで進み、風を感じられますが、激しい揺れと強い陽射しでした。
日焼け止めとラッシュガードは必需品です。
シュノーケリングポイントは波のない入江の小湾のような場所で透明度抜群で魚もたくさんいました！
泳ぐのが苦手な連れは最初は怖がっていましたが、いざ海に入ると夢中になって普通にシュノーケリングして楽しんでいました。
小一時間くらいシュノーケリングを楽しみ一度ボートに戻るとお手製のサンドイッチが振舞われました。それがとても美味しかったです！他にも数回の休憩中にスナックやジュース、パイナップルも！海上で食べる非日常の体験とても良かったです！キャプテンがその場で切ってくれたパイナップルもても美味しかったです！休憩は時間などは自分たち次第なので体力のない方でも安心して行えます。
シュノーケリングが終わるとシャワーで髪や青を洗わせてくれます！
シュノーケリング後に名所へ案内してくれました。ガイダンスは全て英語で理解できませんでしたが、なんとなくニュアンスでわかる？感じでした。
帰る途中もイルカが現れたり、港に戻るとウミガメが現れたりツアーとしては大満足出来ました！
ただキャプテンのガイドが全て英語だったので英語が理解できていればもっと楽しいと思います。贅沢を言えば日本語ガイドが付いていれば最高です。
トータル的にすごく満足できたのでオススメです！
参加する方にお伝えしたいことは
1.必ず日焼け止めを持っていく
2.ラッシュガード、もしくは長袖、女性は水着の上に履くハーフパンツ
3.マスク、シュノーケルのレンタルが嫌な方は自前の物を
4.水中用カメラ
を持っていくと良いと思います。

A must tour while in Hawaii

Marcus knew so much about the area, the culture, plants, animals and was just a funny great person to be around. You ride in style in the plush Mercedes van. He took you to many different area's and we even got to see lava flowing, served lunch and to end the night a 5 star restaurant. Everything was included in your price of your tour. By far a MUST do while in Hawaii. You will not be disappointed in this tour or Marcus.

Speedi Shuttle Kona Airport Transportation Service
Service provided for my request to change a pick up time exceeded my expectations.
Reviewed by: JoOnDaGo, 2016/10/11I requested a change for an earlier pick up time from my resort to the airport because an Ironman Triathalon was scheduled on the route to the airport the morning of my departure. Roads were going to be blocked and traffic rerouted. I received an email confirmation very quickly. On the day of departure, I expected to wait 2 hrs after checking out at the resort, but a driver came into the resort office minutes after I checked out and was asking about a passenger and gave my name. He had picked up another passenger at a nearby resort and came early. Perfect timing. It was a nice cool, stressless ride to the airport. On the way, a text message was sent to my phone informing me "Your trip is minutes away". Excellent service.

Our fifteen minute wait for them undeterred the driver who got us to the airport in time even carriying out cases to the terminal.. Captain Cook Historical Lunch Cruise with Live Hawaiian Music (from Kailua-Kona)

The boat was very nice, the crew was young and full of energy. We saw spinner dolphins and liked hearing about the history of the island. The entertainment was fantastic. The musician on board played almost non-stop. I can't remember his name but I will find it and plan on purchasing his music.
Yes, he was really that good! The lady that gave the narration during the cruise had a beautiful voice and seemed to enjoy talking about her island and culture.
My teenage grandchildren even liked the cruise. I highly recommend it.

タクシーで集合場所へ
Reviewed by: fkawakam, 2016/10/09カイルア・コナのホテルからタクシーで移動しました。値段はうろ覚えなのですが、確かチップ込みで$30をちょっと越えるぐらいだった気がします。タクシーの運転手には「ケアウホウベイ」と言うと、「ツアー会社は?」と聞かれたようなので、「フェアウインド」と言ったら連れて行ってくれました。また、運転手の方はツアーデスクで帰りの時間をチェックして迎えに来てくれました。
ケアラケクア湾ではイルカの群れに遭遇しました。そのうちの2頭は船のすぐ先までやってきてジャンプまでしていました。どのくらいの確率でイルカに遭遇できるのかはわかりませんが、そういうことも普通にあるようです。
肝心のシュノーケリングですが、魚影はそれほど濃くはないですが、それなりに楽しむことができると思います。
食事は船の上でいただくにしては美味しかったです。ただコーヒーが途中でなくなってしまったようで、昼食時には冷たい飲み物しかなかったのは残念でした。
船の上では場所によっては直射日光を浴びることになるので、帽子とラッシュガードがあったほうが良いと思います。

アップグレードの席で見ました
Reviewed by: チェリー, 2016/10/01ホノルルのホテルルアウと違い、こじんまりとしています。アップグレードの席にした結果、ステージの前の席になりました。迫力あるステージを楽しめました。ただアップグレードしなくてもじゅぶん楽しめる規模です。ショーが始まる前の広場ではタトゥーのプリントサービスやフラダンスのレクチャー、豚の丸焼きなど参加できるものがあり楽しかったです。食事はまあまあですが、飲み物は飲み放題でした。私はハワイに行ったときはルアウに参加するのですが、このホテルのルアウは楽しめました。ホノルルのホテルルアウは出演者も多くそれなりに迫力があり楽しめますが、ハワイ島のローカルな雰囲気が楽しめます。ぜひおすすめです。
