We did everything!

And he gave us great local info. We kayaked, snorkeled, cliff dove, snorkeled again, ate and it didn't feel rushed at all. Had an intense moment staring into the clear blue water while snorkeling - most memorable moments of my trip. Thanks you all!

Kona Sunset & Moonlight Wild Manta Ray Snorkel Tour - Wahine Charters
Best Manta Experience
Reviewed by: Mindy, 2016/06/08I've taken three different groups on three different manta swims and this one was the best! I really liked how we were tethered to the boat so that inexperienced snorkelers and people that got cold could easily climb back on the boat while the rest of us could continue to enjoy the mantas. Because we were on the moonlight swim, we were in the harbor by ourselves by the end. All the mantas (four total that night) were ours to observe. It was awesome.
This is really a must-do for your Big Island trip.

Kealakekua Bay Guided Kayak & Captain Cook Snorkel Tour - Adventures In Paradise
A great way to see the Captain Cook Monument

The kayaking was fun and not too difficult. We had two people in our group that had never kayaked before and they enjoyed themselves.

楽しかった！！

友達と2人での参加させて頂きました！
レンタカーを借りてましたので、現地集合でしていくつかツアーや集合場所があり、探しましたが、道が広いので問題なく、現地の方々に聞いてすぐに見つかりました！
10時集合ということで、朝食をゆったりととったあと、バタバタすることなく行動することができましたとても良い時間でした！！
桟橋で偶然ウミガメを見つけて感動しました♡
ボートで約10名乗船しキャプテンクックの場所まで移動しましたが、途中鯨を発見し、何度か止まって頂き皆さんで撮影しました！
そのお気遣いも嬉しかったです！
シュノーケルポイント到着してからは約1時間半、シュノーケルしたり、ランチのサンドウィッチ頂きボートで食べたり！海が綺麗で、綺麗な魚がたーくさん！それはまるで水族館にいる様でした！
時折聞こえるキーキーという音が、、イルカでした♡
同じツアーに参加されていた外国人の方々も良い方ばかりで、楽しく会話したりいろんな場所から来られていて観光客が多いようですね！
1時間半は本当にあっという間！でしたが、帰り道でも絶景の渓谷ポイントに止まって下さりと、シュノーケルだけでなく、他の楽しみを味わせて頂きました！
ただ日焼けをしますので、必ず日焼け止めは必要です…とんでもなく焼けてしまい大変なことになってますが、これもまた良い思い出です！！
港に戻り、またまたウミガメを発見！！
２度も見れて最高でした！！
港には3時着でしたので、ハワイ島の北のほうへ買い物したり観光でき、ホノコハウマリーナは良い場所にありましたのでそれもまた魅力でした！！
なかなか日本では味わえない経験をさせて頂きました！綺麗な海でいろんな、魚達を見ることで癒されましたし、1時間少し海に浸かるだけですので全く疲れませんし、丁度良い時間で、またハワイ島に行く時があれば是非参加させて頂きたくおもいます！

ハワイ島 オーシャンラフティング＆シュノーケルリングツアー ＜英語ガイド／食事付き＞
初めてのオーシャンラフティングに参加してきました!!!
Reviewed by: sonoe, 2016/05/30現地までは、タクシーで行き車が港に近づくと青い屋根が目印ということだったので見つけるべくキョロキョロしましたが、いろいろなツアーの会社が並んでいてすぐにわかりました。もちろん集合時間に遅れることなく到着しました。受付ではすべて英語でしたが、日本語の説明書もありサインをしていよいよボートに乗り込みました。ラフティングが初めてだったのでボートの速さと風に負けそうでしたが、何より爽快だし海も空も本当に青く最高でした！途中アヒや鯨の仲間に遭遇しながら目的のケアラケクア湾に到着しシュノーケルタイムが始まりました。今回スマホの水中ケース初使用で海の中を自分でとりました…楽しいです！夢中になります！
キャプテンがカットして用意してくれたパインとオレンジが、めちゃくちゃおいしかった。ランチタイムが終わる頃、湾の中の少し遠くでイルカが泳いでいたのでボートで少しずつ近づいて行くと周りを１０頭くらいのイルカたちが遊んでいます。こんなに近くで野生にイルカを見たのも初めてです。もう1度シュノーケルタイムを楽しんだ後、帰りは海岸線に沿ってボートは進みますが、陸の上からでは眺めることの出来ない迫力ある景色をみることができました。残念なことは私が英語を理解できないこと。もしキャプテンの説明が理解できていたらもっと良かったでしょう…とはいえわからないなりにも十分楽しめました。それとタクシーで行く場合、運転手が帰りの迎えの予約もしてくれましたが、少し時間を余裕をみて時間を決めると良いと思います。私達は30分待たせたのでチップを余計に払うことになりました。

Deluxe Big Island Day Tour, Volcanoes National Park & Dinner at Kilauea Lodge
So much Fun!! An Absolute must of first time visitors as well as returning visitors. Jim Carrey is the best guide on Big Island!!
Reviewed by: Laura & Djani Drocic, 2016/05/30I must start this review with big Mahalo to our tour guide Jim Carrey, you made this tour great and memorable for my wife Laura and myself. My suggestion would be for anyone interested in a great tour on the Big Island that is focused on cultural, geological, flora and fauna ecosystems of the island to book this tour for the beginning part of their stay, since it will open a number of the other visits and adventure that one can do on their own. Bring a camera and warm clothing, but if you forget your jacket don't worry your tour guide Jim is prepared with a number of coats to lend to those that had forgotten theirs. This whole day tour is packed with interesting place to visit, local folklore and legends. Jim is such a great narrator that makes the whole Hawaiian culture alive during the tour. You will be introduced to multiple Hawaiian chants, songs and legends during the entire day. Food is exquisite and plentiful, tastefully prepared to satisfied everyones need and desire. The crown jewl of this tour is night visit to Volcanic National Park for night lava viewing and star gazing. Jim is so knowledgeable in field of celestial observations and he comes prepared with a strong pair of binoculars that are powerful enough to give you glance of lava inside crater and to offer great view on planets and constellations visible from the craters edge.
Once again Mahalo to Jim Carrey and his company for offering us a unique view on Hawaiian culture and beautiful eco-system that is so different then anywhere on the planet.

Awesome cruise!

We had amazing visits from the spinner dolphins, had drinks and appetizers on the way out to the cove, and a local guitarist playing for us throughout the trip. The dinner was good, there was plenty to eat for everybody. The sunset was also very beautiful.

Hulakai - Big Island Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Adventure & Lessons in Waikoloa
A little bit challenging, but fun!
Reviewed by: Teri and Norty, 2016/05/30The voucher we printed was a little confusing. It had the correct zip code and address, but the wrong location in one area, and the correct location in another. Leave early so you can find the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and the Hulakai Beach Hut. It is NOT at the Waikoloa Resort. We got there right on time and met Chris at the hut. He was very nice and friendly, low key and patient. I guess he's done this a lot with us novices! The cove was flat and glassy, and easy to get back on the board if you fall. After some practice in the cove, he lead us out past the breakers into a little more challenging water, but still not horribly choppy. Turned around and headed back into the cove. I had an easier time, so it may be more difficult for some people than others. Relax as best you can, keep looking up and you should be well on your way!

リゾート気分満点のショーでした
Reviewed by: 三田ファミリー, 2016/05/25 スタンダート席を予約してましたので、早めに受け付けをして17:30からの開場を待ちました。その結果、舞台に近いスタンダート席に案内されました。
周りを見ても日本人は少なく、海外に来たなと感じました。
ビュッフェの順番はプレミアム席の後にスタンダート席なので、少し（だいぶ）待ちくたびれました。ビュッフェ料理はハワイ料理のほか種類も多く、ボリュームたっぷりでした。
フラダンスとファイアーダンスのショーは迫力がありました。味のある司会者（女性）がショーの進行をされており、そのトークに欧米人はかなりノリノリでした。私は英語力をつけなければと痛感しました。
全体的には、ショー、料理、周りの雰囲気などとても満足した時間を過ごせました。

席を変更しなければよかった（TT）
Reviewed by: miyu, 2016/05/21できるだけ近くで見たいと思い直前にプレミアシートに変更をしました。現地へ着く日にこの予定を入れたのはこちらにも落ち度があったけどホテルは敷地内だし席は決まっているのだし、遅れても大丈夫だと思い行ってみると、前には既に団体がいてとても見えにくい位置でした。飲み物もフリードリンクといいながら、声をかけてもオーダーを取りに来ないし（他の外人のところへは来る）レイもかけてもらえなかったし、こんなことなら席を変更しなければ良かったと何度も思いました。オアフでもヒルトンではいい思いをしなかったし最低だと思いました。楽しみにしていたのに・・・。

大盛のツアーでとても満足でした。
Reviewed by: ホヌホヌ, 2016/05/17初めてのツアーでしたがとても満足することができました。私見ですが、予想外のこともありましたので、注意点と良かった点を以下に書きます。
注意点：マリーナの待ち合わせ場所はとてもわかりやすいですが、車の多い時間帯ですので時間に余裕を持って移動下さい。船長やスタッフの話は英語ですが英語が出来なくても日本語の注意書きの説明書をくれるので気にしなくても大丈夫です。ボートのスピードが速くよく跳ねるので荷物が飛んで行かないように口を締めることできる袋、帽子、メガネ、サングラスも風で飛ばないものを準備下さい。お手洗いは船内にも、途中で立寄ることもないので港で済ませてください。船がとても揺れるので朝食は早めに済ませておくことをすすめます。リーフでは立たない事、キャプテン・クックの碑には上がらないこと等の約束を守ってください。港にシャワーはないので終わってすぐシャワーを浴びたい人にはおススメできません。
良かった点：運がよければいきなり２０～３０頭のイルカの群れと泳げます。とても感動します。シュノーケルに慣れなくても潜れなくてもイルカ達は待ってくれませんがまた戻ってくるか、違う群れが来ますのでとにかく焦らないことです。間近に見るイルカの泳ぐ姿にとても感動します。キャプテン・クックのダイビングポイントでは澄んだ美しい海が広がりリーフと多くの魚たちを見ることができます。休憩を挟みながらじっくり時間を使い楽しんでください。
途中、サンドイッチとフルーツ、スナック、飲み物が出ます。景色とランチを楽しめます。
港に戻る途中海岸の地層を見たりイルカの群れに多く遭遇したりジャンプして遊ぶイルカやウミガメも見れ楽しみは尽きることはありませんでした。

主人と妹二人で参加しましたが、シュノーケルポイントまでの行きも帰りも、すぐ近くまでイルカが来てくれてとても良かったとのことです。
船も大きく快適だったそうですが、英語ある程度分から無いと説明が全て英語なので、そこが問題と言ってました。日本人の方は他にはいらっしゃらなかったようです。

料理を取る順番があります。

時間までキッチリ並んで、最初にワンドリンク片手に席へ案内されます。横並びか？向かい合わせか？聞いてきますので、好みに合わせましょう！
普通席でしたが、出来れば少しおごってプレミアムな良いせいがオススメです。前の先で、スナックが付き、サービスが良い気がします。また、早めに食事の合図があります。
食事は、バッフェスタイルですが、最初は席により順番が決まっているので、後回しになっても指示を待ちましょう！
豚の丸焼きが出てきて興奮しますが、少し香りが強く思ったより・・・個人差があります。
本格的なショーでとても楽しかったです。
ステージの左横からサンセットが見れますので、カメラ片手にタイミングを計りましょう！必見です。

Sea kayaking and nothing else
Reviewed by: Kelly, 2016/05/12We were looking forward to this as the best part of our vacation, but we're very disappointed. We arrived at the dock area, and out guide told us it might be a little cold and windy out but that it would not affect our tour of we still wanted to go out. We decided to go, and kayaked a mile and a half through very choppy waters. Exhausted by the time we reached the sea caves, our guide turns to us and tells us it is too rough to do any other part of the tour and we have to turn back. We ate the snacks they had packed and paddled back. No refund offered and no one let us know before hand that we would not get to do half the tour. The guide was very nice, but there should be some sort of refund policy if only a partial refund....

Adventurous and Interesting Tour!

Our guide Nate gave us lots of great information on the history of the island, the places we were visiting, and general Hawaiin activities. We kayaked in the ocean for about 1.5 hours total, so this tour is definitely for active people. We explored some sea caves, did some cliff diving, and snorkeled in a cove, and met the local eel as well.

Sea Quest Kealakekua Bay Snorkel Tour & Rafting Sea Cave Expedition

Reviewed by: Jen, 2016/05/09We had a great time on this excursion. The ride on the raft to the snorkeling sites was exhilarating and relaxing as we took in the beauty of the Kona landscape. We chose this excursion because we were able to snorkel at two different bays ( including Captain Cook's monument). The only disappointment was not seeing more different types of fishes (saw about 5-7 different types per area) and more fishes overall. Our captain and shipmate took good care of our group of 9. The Captain gave us a history of the many caves and cliffs that we visited. They also provided us with fresh fruit, soda, chips, and cookies during the rides. Bonus was seeing a couple of dolphins and mountain goats. A fun afternoon snorkeling made this trip memorable.

キラウエア火山 ヘリコプター遊覧 水～土曜日10:30限定で日本語パイロットのリクエスト可能＜フライト100分／英語パイロット／ワイコロアヘリポート＞
ハワイ島を空から満喫

オフィスに入って受付をしますが、日本語の話せるスタッフはいない模様。バッグと帽子を預けます。
チェックインを済ませて、フライトの説明ビデオを見て、いよいよヘリに乗り込みます。
ツアーはワイコロアを出発しマウナロア、キラウエア、ワイピオを回るものです。
機体はECO-STARと呼ばれるもので、前に2人、後ろに4人座れます。私たち2人は後ろの右2席へ座りました。
上昇するにつれて、溶岩が流れた様子がよく分かります。ワイコロア側は溶岩か牧草地で何もないです。
飛行中はヘッドフォンをしていて、パイロットの声が聞こえるようになっています。乗員はマイクで喋るとその声がみんなに聞こえます。他の乗客は英語で普通に喋っていますが、こちらは相手の言っていることはだいたいわかりますが積極的に会話に加われるほどの英語力はないため、ほとんどしゃべることはありませんでした。
ヘリはマウナロアに向けて進行していきます。雲が無ければマウナケアの山頂も見えたかもしれませんが、そちら方向は雲に隠れて見えません。
マウナロアの山は緩やかな傾斜で、溶岩の流れに従って地面の色が分かれているのがよく分かります。
マウナロアの山を越えるに従って、少しずつ緑も増えていきます。
マウナロアを過ぎて暫く飛ぶと、雲の間から煙が見えたきました。高度を下げて火口に近付くと火口から赤い溶岩が見えます。
まさにヘリからしか見えない景色、感動の景色です。
両側の席のそれぞれが見えるようにパイロットは旋回する向きを変えながら火口の上を旋回してくれます。おかげてたっぷり写真とビデオを撮ることができました。
ヘリはそのあと、別の場所へ向かいます。そこでは地面からいくつもの煙とも水蒸気とも入れない白いものが吹き出ており、近ずくとその中に赤い溶岩が幾つか見えます。キラウエアの火口よりも溶岩が近くに見えたと思います。この場所はヘリ以外では絶対見えない場所です。
その後、ヒロの街を通り過ぎ、暫くするとワイピオ渓谷が見えてきます。
ヘリは一旦ワイピオ渓谷を過ぎて海岸に沿って進みます。海岸線は絶壁になっていて、幾つもの滝が流れ落ちています。それらの滝を見たあとヘリはUターンしてワイピオ渓谷へ引き返します。渓谷の中へ進むと奥に大きな滝が見えます。その滝からさらに奥へ進むと山肌に幾つもの滝が現れます。これほど多くの滝があるとは渓谷に入るまでは想像できませんでした。ヘリは山肌に沿って飛行したり、旋回したりしながら進んで行きます。ここでの旋回はかなりスリリングで旋回と上下が組み合わさり、ちょっとしたアトラクション気分です。この飛行の最大の見せ場と言えます。
その後、ワイピオ渓谷を抜け上昇して山の反対側へ行きます。今まで緑一杯だった渓谷の風景から一気に木がなくなり、乾燥した大地が現れます。これだけ、ちょっとの間にはっきりと気候が分かれるのにびっくりしました。
その後は、コハラコーストの海岸線を見ながら南下していきます。暫くすると、出発したヘリポートも見えてきました。この空の旅もここで終わりです。
ちょっと値段は高かったですが、この体験は他ではできないものですし、満足感はすごく高いです。
機会があれば、また乗ってみたいとも思いますし、せっかくハワイ島まで来てこの景色を見ないのはもったいないと思います。
パイロットが日本人ならもっと詳しく理解できたでしょうが、英語が分からなくても景色を見るだけで十分理解できると思います。

伝統ルアウ＆フラ・ハワイアンショー レジェンズ・オブ・ハワイ（ヒルトンワイコロアビレッジ）＜日・火・金催行／ブッフェ夕食／飲み放題＞
There's no place like Hawaii
Reviewed by: Cooper, 2016/05/09バウチャーにはカメハメハコート集合と書いていますが、地図の場所はメインエントランスになっていました。
最初エントランスで待っていましたが、何か様子が違うので直接ルアウの会場へ行きましたがそこがカメハメハコートとのこと。地図、見ない方が良かったです。
受付をすると、係りの人がレイを付けてくれて写真撮影です。この写真はその後、ホテルの写真コーナーで購入しました。
17:30から開場となり、席に案内されます。席は真ん中の列で最前列に2人いたのでその次の列となります。
周りを見ると日本人らしき人も何人かいた程度で、席の周りはアメリカ人のようです。
プレミアム席なので、食事を取りに行くのは最初に優先的に行けますし、ドリンクも飲みたいものをバトラーへ伝えれば持ってきてもらえます。
食事にはハワイの料理などもあり、そちらを優先的に食べてみましたが、そこそこの味でした。
カイルアピッグは美味しかったし、アヒポキも予想していた味でしたが、ウベはちょっと口に合いませんでした。
食事中に少し雨が強くなることもありましたが、食事が終わるころには雨は止みました。
食事も一段落したころ、ショーが始まりました。
ショーはフラとファイアーダンスを組み合わせたもので、司会の進行で進められていきます。ステージに近いので、迫力があります。
途中、ダンサーに指名されてステージに上がり、一緒にフラを踊ることになりました。適当に体を動かすしかできなかったですが、見よう見真似でなんとか乗り切りました。
個人的には、食事の途中からショーが始まるようにしてもう少し全体を時間を短くしてもらったほうが良かったとは思いますが、楽しめるショーではないかと思います。終わるころには、「There's no place like Hawaii」のフレーズを口ずさんでいました。

Deluxe Big Island Day Tour, Volcanoes National Park & Dinner at Kilauea Lodge
The most wonderful day in Hawaii
Reviewed by: NORMA BARAJAS, 2016/05/06This tour was astonishing, we had our best time in Hawaii. Starting, our host Jim Carey a gentleman, expert story teller of Hawaiian culture. On the road we could see lava tubes, alien landscapes, the marvelous Mauna Kea where is an astronomical observatory and we had a windy delicious pic nic lunch. Near the city of Hilo, we had our second stop for seeing the Rainbow Falls, a fantastic view of the beauty and force of nature. Not far, Hilo, a rainy city, where is the University of Hawaii and the unforgettable chocolate factory where one can find all kind of delicious chocolates, candies, cookies, macadamia nuts. No one can leave that place without a full bag while Jim Carey is calling you with the sound of ukelele. Also you can take pictures of the statue of king Kamehameha in a park. Then, we took our way to Volcanoes National Park, which welcomed us with a warm fumarole that wet us in a strange but nice sensation. Then, the first wonderful breathtaking view of the Kilauea volcano, a vision like we were in Mars. The museum shows what the nude eye can’t see in a volcano, like Pele´s hair and lava forest. After, an outstanding landscape, the lava river, an unbelievable wonder full of mystery. We took a path through the rainy forest, where the flowers and the tree of Pele’s legend grow in the middle of volcanic rocks. Then Jim took us to a cozy restaurant, with a chimney attended by his owner. Dinner was awesome, very tasty, as the special passion fruit tea. At night we had the vision of fire in the middle of the night, the Kilauea's dancing lava took our breath away, an unforgettable moment, almost mystical. Pictures can’t catch that beauty, but the telescope that Jim takes with him did.
Back in the van a great surprise waited for us. Like a love detail, a hot coco and cookies appeared to warm us. On our road back more than one fell asleep dreaming of the most wonderful day of their lives. Mahalo from Colombia.

Thank you for your wonderful review on our Moonlit Manta Snorkel. We are so pleased your tour was such a success. It is our goal to have every person rate us as the best snorkel tours in Kona! You just described the advantages of doing the Moonlit tour. I always recommend this tour to people with children. Because there are only two to three boats at the later tour time, this allows us to tether the light board directly to the boat instead of swimming the light board in the middle of twenty something boats and their light boards to give you the best show. Some parents might have to switch out with their partner if they bring their young children (toddler's and babies are always welcome). There might also be children and/or adults that have some apprehension and would prefer to have the boat near by as a comfort. We hope you will remember us on your next trip to Kona. Mahalo!
