5年ぶりの伝統ルアウ&フラ・ハワイアンショーをエンジョイ‼️
Reviewed by: seiさん, 2024/09/01コロナ禍で2020、2021年はハワイに行けなかったが、2022、2023年とオアフ島(ホノルル)で旅行を再開して、今回、5年ぶりのハワイ島旅行となった。いつもの様にワイコロア地区のヒルトンのリゾートに滞在したが、やはり伝統のルアウ＆フラ・ハワイアンショーを見ないとハワイ島に来た感じがしないと思い、これも5年ぶりの観覧となった。当日はスタートから小雨模様で、最初の伝統フラのショーから食事に切り替わる頃に、スタッフが手早くビニルのレインコートを配ってまわり、ポリネシアンダンサーのトーチを使った集団ダンスが佳境に入る頃には雨も細かい霧雨に変わり、観客の殆どがレインコートを脱ぎ去り、司会者の軽妙なリードで会場が一体となってショーに熱狂した。今回、スタートから雨模様のためか、プログラムの進行が全て前倒しで進められ、観客参加のフラがスキップされたりしたのが少々、残念であった。

シュノーケルポイントは確かに綺麗だが、
もっと透き通る綺麗さかと思っていたが、そうでもなかった。が、初めてのシュノーケルなら満足すると思う。もしかすると前日に雨が降った為、海が荒れていたのかも知らない。晴れの日が続くと海の綺麗さ増す気がする。
シュノーケルをする時間はたっぷりあり、子連れはかなり楽しめます。浮き輪なども充実しており、子供も溺れることなく、シュノーケルに集中出来るので安心。
スタッフのサービスは完璧。チップを渡したくなる対応だった。
船の食事は健康的な食材で、安心して食べれた。
船酔いはしにくい運航だった。

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞
車椅子でも乗れる船でシュノーケリングツアー♪

申し込みの決め手は車椅子のまま乗り込むことができる大型の船、ということでした。
私自身は学生時代ダイビング三昧だったので、船に乗って行けるポイントでのシュノーケリングやイルカウォッチングは子供たちにも体験してほしいことでしたが、車椅子にはなかなかハードルが高く。。今回このような形で行けてとても嬉しかったです。
ただ、集合時間が朝早く、Waikoloaから運転して行くため6時台にはホテルを出なければならず、息子たちは終始眠そうだったのが残念ポイント。。
それでも、貸していただけたシュノーケル＆マスクとフィンが快適で、初めてのオープンウォーターでのシュノーケリングであったにも関わらず全然怖がらず、二人ともとても楽しんでいました。ヌードルという、細長～い浮き具もお気に入りでした。（今回夫は体調もさほど優れずシュノーケリングはしなかったため、やりたいと言えばサポートしてくれたのかどうかは不明です）
子供たちはライフベストを着用、私はこのヌードルだけでしたが、充分浮いていられました。ポイントのお魚は、正直沖縄などよりは種類も少なかったですが、子供たちの初めての体験としてはよかったと思います。
行き帰りにイルカも見られました！
行きに朝食（何種類かのパンと果物やヨーグルトなど）を食べて、シュノーケリングの時間中好きな時に上がって来て昼食のハンバーガーを食べる、という感じでした。昼食で出たタロイモチップスが子供たちのお気に入りでした。
帰りは大物（イルカ、クジラ、マンタなど？）を見つけるために、行きより海岸から離れての長めのクルーズでした。残念ながら遭遇はできませんでしたが、この時間に配ってくれたクッキーが美味しくて、次男はおかわりしていました。笑
半日のツアーでしたが、とても楽しい思い出になりました！
欲を言えば、集合時間遅めのランチだけのツアーがよいかな、と思いました。
ちなみに私と子供たちは酔い止めを飲んで行ったせいか船酔いはしませんでした。夫は少し気分が悪そうでしたので、普段酔わない方も念のため酔い止めをお勧めします！

キラウエア火山 ヘリコプター遊覧 水～土曜日10:30限定で日本語パイロットのリクエスト可能＜フライト100分／英語パイロット／ワイコロアヘリポート＞
日本語ガイドがよかった。
Reviewed by: RygerSeven, 2024/08/22十時三十分出発のツアーで一時間前までにヘリポートに行く必要がある。ヘリポートはワイコロア近くにある。九時半に到着してチェックインしてから、ビデオを見た。時間になりハワイ島を左回りに一周した。約二時間のﾍﾘﾂｱｰ。マサチューセッツ州出身の操縦士が日本語と英語を混ぜながら案内してくれた。登場したのは我々日本人四人と操縦士とアメリカ人二人の合計七人。ガイドは日本語を話せるのでとても助かった。

野生のマンタ シュノーケリングツアー ＜英語ガイド／軽食付き＞
目の前をマンタが泳ぐのが見えた。
Reviewed by: RygerSeven, 2024/08/22夕方六時十五分。ハーバーに集合。トイレは近くの公衆トイレのみ。きれいではない。乗船して近くのポイントに行く。船の中でブリーフィングをするが、英語が分からなくても何とかなると思う。十五分ほどの移動でポイントにつく。マスクとシュノーケルは貸してくれるが、度付きではないので、視力が悪い人は自分のマスクを用意することをお勧めする。船の後部から海に降りる。一メートルほどの長さの浮き具をもって水上に固定してある金属製のバーまで泳ぐ。そこで浮き具を足の甲において、両手は金属製のバーを持ち水面に平行になるように浮く。下を眺めるとライトが下方向に照らしているのが分かる。しばらくするとマンタが下から海面に向かって泳いでくる。こちらに向かってくるような感じがして迫力がある。ただひとによっては暗い中でマンタがやってくるので恐怖を感じるかもしれない。小さい子供だと怖がるかもしれない。この体制を一時間ほどする。私は最初の二十分で十分と感じた。残りの四十分は結構長く感じた。一時間ほど海面に浮いてから船に戻り、船の中でトイレを済ませて、飲み物を飲んでから下船した。下船したのは八時過ぎだとおもう。ここからワイコロアまで一時間ほどかかって帰るので、ワイコロアに戻るのは十時前になり、運転手は結構疲れると思う。それでも迫力のあるマンタには満足した。

日本人で英語が話せなくても何とかなります

事前に参加についてのサインを求めるメールが来るので、参加者全員分を書きましょう。
2人で参加しましたが、1人分書き忘れてしまったため、当日書くことになりました。
また、集合場所では、別のツアーも同時に集まっているようなので、間違いないか確認した方が無難です。（最初、人が集まっているところに行き、名前が呼ばれなかったので確認したところ、別のツアーでした）
英語は、話せなくても大丈夫でした。
早くて何言っているかほとんど聞き取れませんでしたが、スタッフの皆さんが明るく、優しいので、何とかなります。
日焼け止めは船内にあるので、最悪忘れても大丈夫です。
朝食はあまり期待しない方が良いでしょう。
クッキーはとても美味しかったです。
サービスは良かったですが、海が思ったより綺麗ではなかったので、星4です。

Kona Morning Makalawena Snorkeling Cruise to Puu Alii Bay - Ocean Encounters
Amazing group adventure!

We saw a lot of fish and a few sea turtles. The waters are choppy, so if your prone to motion sickness, come prepared. All snorkel gear was provided. Overall, a fun experience.

Sea Quest Kealakekua Bay Snorkel Tour & Rafting Sea Cave Expedition

1時間半の体験でも思い出になりました
Reviewed by: トマト, 2024/08/161時間半の体験にしましたが、十分に楽しめる内容だし、ギャロップもさせてくれました。子どもでもわかりやすいように丁寧に乗馬や馬の扱いについて、説明してくれます。どの馬もよく調教されて、決まったルートを回るので、初めて体験する夫でも不安はなかったようです。8歳の娘も楽しかったと喜んで、またハワイに来たら体験したいそうです。草原の中を通り、海の方まで回るので、風もあり気持ち良かったです。一生懸命に世話してくれたガイドさんには心ばかりのチップを当日現金で払いました。他の参加者も払ってたが、他の日本人の家族は払ってなかった。

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises
Breathtaking Coral ecosystem
Reviewed by: Alek Collins , 2024/08/16This experience was perfect. The snorkeling over the coral and the incredible variety of fish was nothing short of amazing! That said my 18 and 13 year olds grew tried of it (sigh ) and chose to jump from the different levels of the boat into the water. (The highest level really is quite high!) The excursion was long enough for them to get tires of that and go back out for more snorkeling! The guides were great too. They provided some history behind what we were seeing ranging from the local traditions to the arrival of Captain Cook.
I couldn't recommend this trip more!!

Legends of Hawaii Luau Dinner Show with Open Bar at Hilton Waikoloa Village
A beautiful luau experience all around

It felt genuine and true to Polynesian history and tradition while still having fun moments and many laughs. The music, dancing, and fire aspects were all top notch. I have also heard that typically the good at luaus is so-so, but the buffet was fantastic as well as the drinks and dessert. Excellent all around. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

初めての乗馬！

全員乗馬は初めて！なのでかなりドキドキでしたが、特にトラブルもなく、お利口な馬に乗ってゆったりと乗馬を楽しむことができました。
説明は基本英語なので子供達は「何て言ってるの？」とほぼ理解なしで参加してますが、何とかなります。受付のところに日本語の説明文があり、基本的なルールが書いてあるので、英語苦手な人は一読しておくとちょっと安心かなと。ただ、馬が言うことを聞かなくてもサポートで同行してくれるお姉さんたちがすぐ軌道修正してくれるので安心です。途中グループごとに写真も撮ってくれます（自分のカメラかスマホを持っていくのを忘れずに！）
1.5時間でかなり乗りごたえがありました。広大な敷地の景色の良さもあっていい思い出になりました、ハワイ島の大自然を感じられるアクティビティとしてオススメです。

Spirit of Aloha Kohala Coast Snorkel Tour with Lunch & Drinks - Hawaii Nautical
It was OK -- crowded
Reviewed by: Scuba Steve Sr., 2024/08/10I've been on many catamaran snorkel trips on different Hawaiian islands over the years, this one was just OK compared to the others. The things that brought the experience down a bit for my family were the number of people on the boat, it was very crowded, the way food was handled (you're paying handsomely for some chips and a pretty bland sandwich -- they ask you what you want when you sign up for the boat but on the boat it's a free-for-all, so you might end up with something you didn't want or pay for), and lastly (and again) the number of people on the boat. The first 15 minutes of snorkeling was just spent trying to get away from everyone else so you didn't get kicked in the face or torpedoed by some mid-westerner trying to play aquaman by diving under the water and surfacing right into your abdomen. So yeah, it was OK -- wouldn't do it again for the price though.

Fun experience with great guides!

とにかく楽しかったです！

私たちはワイコロアエリアに宿泊していたので、集合場所まではレンタカーで向かいました。
集合場所まではかなりの距離（40〜50分ほど）がありましたが、それもドライブと思い楽しみました。途中、野生のヤギを見かけたりして、子供は喜んでいました。
船は結構揺れますが、船酔いしている人はいなかった様です。ただ、船酔いが心配な方は酔い止めを飲んだ方がいいと思います。
参加者は日本人は私たちの他に２組ほど。あとは、韓国系の方や欧米系の方々でした。スタッフは英語しか通じません。でも、日本語で書かれた注意書きを貸してくれるので、専門的な英語は分からなくても多少の英語が話せれば問題ないです。
２台のすべり台が付いている船ということで、娘はとても楽しみにしていましたが、着いてびっくり！なんと、船の２階部分がすべり台の乗り場になっていて、すべり台の終わりがなんと海面からおよそ３メートルほども上なので、ほぼ海面に落ちるという感じです。
さすがに、怖くて私もできませんでした。
あとは、船からダイブというかジャンプしたりもできます。これは、船の２階からでもできるし、１階からもできます。
シュノーケルとフィンは貸し出してくれます。ライフジャケットか浮き輪のようなものも貸してくれます。娘は初めてのシュノーケルだったので、はじめは底窓付きのボディーボードのようなものを借りました。海に慣れてくると、自分でもシュノーケルをやってみたいと言い出したので、チューブ浮き輪と子供用シュノーケルとフィンを借りて、一緒にシュノーケルを楽しみました。
２歳くらいの小さな子もボードで海を楽しんでいましたので、幅広い年齢の方が楽しめると思います。
帰りにスナックが出されます。スナックはタロ芋チップスとカットパイナップル、飲み物は水が含まれますが、希望者は１ドルでソフトドリンク、値段は忘れましたがアルコールドリンクも買えます。

Hawaii Manta Ray Sunset & Night Time Snorkel Experience from Kona - Iruka
So much fun and extremely memorable! Definitely a bucket list item for the Big Island!
Reviewed by: Rose B, 2024/07/30This was my first time snorkeling with manta rays, so I was a little apprehensive. But the crew members were reassuring and had a "chill" attitude that put me at ease. They also explanined everything very well. Also, expect that you might not see manta rays right away. I think it took almost a half hour before they appeared in our area of the bay. But overall, this was so much fun as seeing these otherworldly creatures up close was amazing!

It's unfortunate that your five year old experienced motion sickness. Our vessel is a sixty-five foot long double decker catamaran. The good news is that most guests do not experience motion sickness. For guests who know they have a propensity to experience motion sickness we recommend an over the counter remedy such as Dramamine at least an hour before boarding. ハワイ島 ケアラケクア湾シュノーケリングツアー 滑り台や飛び込み台完備の船で行く！＜午前・午後／英語ガイド／食事付＞by フェアウィンド号
忘れることのない最高の思い出

ガイドは全て英語で、アジア系の参加者は私たちまけでしたが、とても親切に対応下さり、船長さん、クルーの誰もが最高のホスピタリティでもてなして下さいました。船上からの景色、アクティビティ、お料理、おもてなしなど、どれもが素晴らしかったです。
ケアラケクア湾でのアクティビティでは、美しい透き通った水の中、シュノーケルで多種多様なお魚に出会ったほか、10頭ほどのイルカの群が船のすぐ近くまで泳ぎに来たのに遭遇する事ができました。カタマランから水面へ飛び込む滑り台や、ジャンプ台など、子どもも大人も目一杯楽しむことができます。深い海に行く事を怖がっていた息子も、最後はジャンプに挑戦したくなったと、自然と美しい湾の魅力のもとで強くなった様でした。
持ち物はタオルのみでしたが、サンゴなどの海洋環境に優しい日焼け止めやシュノーケル、フィン、浮き具などの道具は全て貸して頂けました。
もっとも心配していた高齢母については、大きなフェアウィンド号ならではと思いますが、揺れは穏やかで終始座って過ごすことができ、またシュノーケリング時には浮き輪を使用して水に腰をつけさせて頂くことができました。これには、大変親切な女性クルーが手伝い、ずっと見守ってくださいました。
ツアー全体を通して、全てのクルーが、乗客の安全と美しい自然の保護をもっとも大切に、最高のエンターテイメントとともにツアーを作って下さっていることが伝わって来ました。
様々な同様のツアーがございますが、こちらのツアーに参加することができて本当に良かったです。
ハワイ島を訪れる方には、是非おすすめしたいツアー、私たちもまた参加できる時を楽しみにしております。
