大雨のルアウショー
Reviewed by: コナ子, 2012/09/27コナ地区は雨が少ないと聞いていたが、今年は雨が多いらしく、私達がこのルアウショーに参加した日はさんざんでした（泣）
まずホテル内のルアウデスクでチェックイン。やはり人気で並んでましたがこれは簡単スムーズに完了。
しかしビーチに出てみると長蛇の列。司会進行役が面白おかしく喋っていますが、後方には全く聞こえず。
入場してから女性用デンファレレイを＄６で購入、男性用のククイレイは＄５。ここで記念写真を撮りますが、この後の大雨のバタバタで写真販売はどこでもされておらず買えず仕舞。
通された席はアメリカの方たちと同じテーブルで、挨拶したり握手したり。
ドリンクはフリーですが、おばちゃん一人で対応しているのでこれまた長蛇の列。食事はポイなどもあり、お肉の種類も３種類ほどありました。味もアメリカンな味で私は好きです。
さて食事が始まってすぐに雨が,,,小雨だったの束の間、そこそこの雨が降り出し、全員にバスタオルが配られ皆が頭からすっぽり白いタオルをずっとかぶってました。テーブルクロスも食事の入ったトレーも料理も全部雨でぐしょぐしょ。グラスのお酒は雨で薄まって水になってました。
本来なら食事前に色んなアクティビティがあったようですが、雨が強くなってどれも１５分ほどで撤収。何も参加できず。豚の丸焼きもありませんでした。
肝心のショーも超早送りであれよあれよという間に終わって（笑）２０時過ぎ終了予定がなんと１８時半には終わって、バンドも料理も観客も即撤収。
そんな散々な内容でしたが、席を立つ人は数名だけで、みんな最後までそれなりに楽しんでいました。
口コミも良く、初ハワイ島初日だったので期待していましたが、残念な結果に終わってしまいました。次回もう一回観るかは悩むなー

英語の案内だけで、私は最低限の日常会話くらいしかわからないけど、最高に楽しめました☆

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞

野生のイルカということで、船が走り出してすぐにイルカの家族を見ることができました。船の先端では、たくさんのトビウオも飛ぶ姿も何度も見ることできます。
イルカを、もう少し近くで見たいところでしたが、今回はシュノ―ケリングがメインなのでしばらく一時間ほど移動しました。
朝食(軽食)のパンやフルーツ、昼食のバーガーも自分たちで自由に作ることができ、ポテトサラダや野菜も新鮮でおいしくいただけました。マウイチップスもスナックとしてあり良かったです。
また温かい飲み物は常時飲むことができ、冷たい飲み物の種類も多かったです。追加料金でお酒も飲むことができました。
当日、日本人は自分達だけでしたが、スタッフにやさしくサポートしてもらえたので安心でした。マスクも度付きのを貸出してもらい。ヌードルやグラスで下が見えるビート版等、シャワー完備と充実しておりました。シュノーケルのスポットは、透明度が高く、深くても安心して泳げる波の高さでした。
帰りにカメも見ることができ、とても満足しています。

夕日の美しい日でした
Reviewed by: ラケル, 2012/09/01参加した日は夕日が特に美しく、参加していた方々みなが夕日をバックに記念撮影をされていました。予想していたより少しコンパクトなルアウショーでしたが、さすが身体を張って働いているだけあって、すばらしいショーでした。
食事もハワイの伝統的なメニューがたっぷりと用意されており満足しました。

伝統的なハワイアンルアウ！

また、屋外での、本格的なルアウショーを観るのも初めてでしたので、とても楽しみにしていました。
結果としては、◎でした。
「会場に入るまで並ぶ」というのを事前にクチコミでチェックしていたので、ホテルチェックイン後（到着日の夜だったのと、ちょうど宿泊先がキングカメハメハだったので）すぐに、手続きをしました。
受付時間を書いた紙をその場でくれたのですが、それでも、少し早めの30分前位に会場へ行ったにも関わらず、結構並んでいました！！
観覧客はほとんどが欧米人で、日本人は2割位だったかと思います。
また、通常は、日本人は日本人同士でテーブルセッティングしてくださるみたいですが（写真を撮り合ったり、お話したりできるから）、私達夫婦は、日本人がひとりもいない、欧米人のみのテーブルへ通されました・・・
ステージ側の前の方の、一番端の席だったため、とても落ち着き、バックには海とアフエナヘイアウ、ダンサーたちの登場シーンもよく見ることができ、とても満足でした。
伝統的なイムセレモニーは、一度は経験したかったので、よかったですが、一度経験すれば、もういいかな。。。
（豚さんを高温で蒸し焼きするので、匂いがかなりきつかったのです）
お食事は伝統的なもので、ビュッフェ式でしたので、いろいろ楽しめました。
ドリンクも飲み放題で、こちらもよかったのですが、テーブルが前の方だったので、その分、ドリンクの所へたどり着くまでが、とても遠かったです。
ハワイだけでなく、近隣の島々の踊りも織り交ぜながら、披露してくださいます。
同じフラダンサーとしては、いろいろな角度から、観させていただき、よい勉強になりました。
途中で雨がたくさん降ってきてしまい、時間よりもかなり早く終わってしまい、それが少し残念でした。
全体的には、日本人が周りにいなくて不安はありましたが(^^ゞ
それでも楽しめたので、とてもよかったです。

We were able to see Manta Rays and Giant Turtles and many fish. Would recommend for 1st timers to the island. For repeat visitors, a longer boat ride would be recommended as our 30 minutes went by very quickly.

Wonderful Family Experiance
Reviewed by: MIKE, 2012/06/29This was a great experiance for our whole family. This was Mine and my wife's second Laua but the first for my two kids who are 7 and 12. I was a little worried about the kids experiance. They both had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back. The service was great and very entertaining. The food was excellant. As far as the entertainment, it was top notch. We learned alot about the differant cultures and were amazed by the talent of the dancers, who also added some good humor to the show. This is definitly a Laua we will be back to.

Difficult to get around and everyone.had to watch at a 90 degree angle. The slope did not help matters any either. But we all did enjoy ourselves!

雨でも大満足のルアウショー！

通常はキングカメハメハがボートに乗ってやってくるパフォーマンスと星空の下でのディナーショーなのですが、急きょ室内でのショーに変更になりました。
セッティングのためホテルロビーにて１時間ほど待たされたのですが、その間も客を飽きさせないようＭＣの方が冗談を飛ばしたりウクレレ演奏があったり。ほかの外国人観光客たちとの立ち話もいい思い出となりました。
ホテル内の宴会場のような場所に移動して、ショーの開始。
歌や踊りのパフォーマンス、観客を巻き込んでのチークダンスタイムなど素敵な演出が盛りだくさんで大満足でした。
料理はハワイの伝統食がメイン。ボリューム満点で好みは分かれるかとも思いますが、私は美味しく頂きました。
フラレッスンなどの参加型アクティビティも十分楽しめたのですが、やはりホテルの廊下では少し狭く、空の下、芝生の上でやりたかったなあという印象。しかし次こそは天候に恵まれた日にまたぜひ参加したい！と思える充実したショープログラムでした。
「一度目のHawaiiのひとは初めまして、
二度目のひとは友達（aikane）、
三度目以上の人はみんな家族（ohana）」
という言葉に心がほっこりしたのをよく覚えています♪

Kona Sunset Dinner Cruise to Kealakekua Bay with Live Entertainment | Body Glove
Fun, food, and educational!
Reviewed by: Mumsie2U, 2012/06/03We booked this cruise in particular because it was wheelchair accessible. We were traveling with a friend who is in a wheelchair and we wanted to be able to get her out on the ocean. The crew was fantastic! The ramp was easy and we sat in the front of the boat.
On this cruise to Ke'alakekua, not only was there a wonderful bartender, but also a fabulous array of appetizers and a yummy dinner. AND there was a historian, named Boyd, who was able to tell us the history of the areas we were cruising by. Kudos to Boyd! IN ADDITION to all of this, we were suprised to find out the crew had fishing lines out and caught three large fish! Very exciting for us and also the crew.
This is just a great company with a great crew wo do hospitality right. Loved it all!

Great Luau
Reviewed by: RonW, 2012/06/03Since I booked the Royal Kona Luau online in January 2012, I expected that my seating would have been closer to the stage. Those who book the earliest deserve to have better seating. To me, that would be fair.
The setting for the luau was ideal with ocean waves as a backdrop and the view of a perfect Pacific sunset. Master of Ceremonies and hula dancers were very entertaining.

Reviewed by: linda, 2012/03/14My husband and I were first time visitors to Hawaii. Going to a luah was one activity we chose. We took advantage of the preferred seating and felt it was worth the money. We were seated right in the front, were able to go first to the buffet and received $5 off our picture and paid only $5 for parking. The entertainment was truly amazing. The food was o.k but we didn't expect a whole lot. The dancers even stood at the exit so you could get a picture with them.

The food was really good and there was plenty of it. As an added bonus to our wonderful evening, we were first entertained by several schools of dolphins and then we sighted several whales. What a wonderful sight! The crew were very curtious and helpful and the live entertainment and the drinks were great. Definitely a highlight of my stay and something that I would do again!!

Reviewed by: Wanda and Keith, 2011/11/25This was an amazing Luau.. WOW! Can't say enough about it. The food was amazing, the entertainment, the entire night. We opted for preferred seating so we were escorted right in, greeted with a fresh flower lei and had our picture taken. That was just the start of a truly fantastic evening. It was held near the ocean at the King Kamehameha Hotel within view of the Ahuena Heiau. The Ahu'ena Heiau is the religious temple that served Kamehameha the Great when he returned to the Big Island in 1812. The show after dinner was spectacular, hard to describe with words.

野外で沈み行く夕日を感じながら食事をする気持ちよさに加え、ハワイ古来のオーブン「イム」を間近で見学しながら出来あがりを待ち、ポイなどのハワイの食文化にも触れ、目の前で繰り広げられるフラやタヒチアンの踊り、全てが初体験の母は目がキラキラしていました。英語が分からない母でもとても楽しんでくれたようで、その様子をそばでみれたのが嬉しかったです。

なかなかです。
Reviewed by: Katie, 2011/10/17１０月初旬でトライアスロン大会前の平日に参加しました。日本人は我々だけでした。
イルカは残念ながら見れませんでしたが、船がゆったりしていて、トイレもきれいで設備は満足でした。スライダーや飛び込み台があって、特にスライダーが大人でも楽しめました。
食事や飲み物もきちんとそろっていて全く困りませんでしたし、スタッフはフレンドリーでシュノーケルセットやウェットスーツ等も貸してくれます。
シュノーケルもたっぷり楽しむ時間がありました。ただ、水深５ｍ~１０ｍ位のところに珊瑚があって、深く潜ってやっと魚が近くに見える程度。水面でぷかぷか浮いて見るだけでも、海の透明度は抜群なので海底まで良く見えはしましたが、魚はとても遠くにいて、ちょっと不完全燃焼でした。
船が大きめなのであまり浅いところには停められないのだと思います。魚を近くで見たければダイビングがよかったかもしれません。

Reviewed by: Yume, 2011/09/20集合場所の桟橋に着くと、船がとまっているのですぐにわかりました。船はきれいで１階にはテーブルとベンチがあり、２階にはベンチのみ。スペースはかなりゆったりとしています。４歳と６歳の子供連れでしたが、イルカを見たり、浮き輪のような形のボートに乗ったり、子供から大人まで楽しめる内容です。スタッフもフレンドリーで、面倒見のよい方々ばかりでした。子供用と大人用のウェットスーツも借してくれます。（１つ１０ドル）素晴らしい景色と海風と音楽にも癒されました。おすすめです。

子供も！！

子供にも楽しめる内容でした。
日本人は私達だけですが、特に問題はなかったです。
ジージは見ているだけなのですが、船が大きいので日陰があり
待つのも安心でした。

Reviewed by: Bonnie, 2011/08/26We were looking forward to our first adventure in Hawaii... an official Luau. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the history of the story telling. However, one downside was that we were instructed and confirmed to go to one hotel and when we arrived early to check in were told there was no show there that night... after going through channels we were told to go to another hotel and we checked in without issue. The evening was pleasant, we met other families and enjoyed the fun. The food was good but nothing too special but the atmosphere was pleasant, the breeze warm and the mai tai's cold! We enjoyed the experience overall.
