　海に流れ落ちる溶岩、流れる溶岩を見たいと思い、ヘリコプターツアーに参加しました。英語解説だったのでで詳しいことはよくわかりませんでしたが、ヘリコプターから見下ろすハワイ島は、昔地理で勉強した地形のでき方そのまま、自然そのままな様子をしっかりと見ることができ面白かったです。
　ただ、目的の火山があまりアクティブでなく、のんびり溶岩が流れている様子が何カ所か見られるのみでした。それも上空からだと動いているかどうかは実感できません。今（今日？）溶岩はスリーピーとのこと。溶岩が噴出していたり、海には落ちていたりする様子はありませんでした。熱い溶岩がない訳ではないのですが午前中のフライトなので、溶岩がところどころ赤くなっていることが分かる程度で、夜だったら見え方は多少違うのかもしれません。2ヶ月くらい前に予約したので、火山の状態がどうかは運によるところが大きいのでしょう。この状態ならハイキングと星空ツアーの方が、より近くで流れる溶岩を見られてよいかと思いました。火山の状態をチェックしながらどのツアーにするか考えるとよいかもしれません。
　とはいえ、ヘリコプターは天気によって飛べないことがあり、過去2回、他のツアー会社ですが天気のせいでキャンセルになっているので、飛べてよかったです。

Big Island SNUBA Diving Tour from Kona - Guided Beach SNUBA Dive [Closed]

What a disappointment

After reading so many excellent reviews, I was preped for an unmatched underwater adventure. However, instead of going out in a boat to an area where we could see lots of different fish and possibly some sea turtles, we waded out into the bay by the hotel and swam out about 100 yards. The only aquatic life viewed were some very small tropical fishes very much like the ones I see in salt water home aquariums, small star fish and small sea urchins. Again very disappointing as I can see the same thing snorkeling in the bay! I ba not in good faith reccomennd this Hawaiian activiiy. My guess id that you will not print or use my review.

Waipio Valley Wagon Tour & Big Island Tropical Waterfalls Adventure [Closed]

What a wonderful way to experience this unique area of the island. Bob was a great guide and the views were spectacular, the only clear view of the tallest waterfall on the Island. I wish a trip to the black sand beach had been part of the experience.

UFO Parasail Adventure - Best Kona Parasailing Tour

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises

My husband and I tried snorkeling first time and we are not even good swimmer. I know only basics of swimming and I can not even survive in a 6 ft swimming pool and still I had fun snorkeling with Fair wind. Crew helped us a lot and snorkeling area was also good. They have different kind of accessories like view box and board for childrens. we would defenately go for second time.

More Than We Could Have Expected!

This was a great purchase! It was a great experience, the guide was awesome, and it was definitely something that cannot be done back home! My husband and I went on our honeymoon and book this activity for our first day in Hawaii. The description stated, Sea Cave Kayaking Adventure, but we got so much more! We kayaked, went to the sea cave, swam with dolphins, snorkeled, got to jump off a cliff, fed the mongoose, had a nice lunch, and learned a lot about sea life, not to mention the hundreds of different fish and sea life we got to encounter. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and always kept safety a priority! No question about it we would return time and time again!

Naalapa Stables Kohala Horseback Riding Tour on Kahua Ranch

I chose to do this adventure for my birthday while we were in Kona. Melissa, our guide, was wonderful. She did a great job of sharing all of the history of the ranch and also the local sites. The horses were matched to us perfectly. I'm an experienced rider so really enjoyed having a horse that was spunky! We were able to trot and canter and Melissa was very attentive. If we go back to Hawaii we will definitely do this again!!!

Had a wonderful time. Boat was exceptional and specifically built for tour. Staff was extremely knowledgeable really great with the children as she used to be a school teacher. You couldn't have asked for a better guide for families with children!

Kona Kayaking & Snorkeling Sea Cave Adventure at Keauhou Bay - Ocean Safari's

Big Island Kayaking FUN

We enjoyed the Keauhou Kayaking Adventure very much. The Staff was outstanding! They were patient and very capable kayakers. One led while the other stayed in the back for those that were a bit slower. We didn't feel rushed or exhausted, as Walter kept the pace based on the group's abilities. We had some pretty decent swells and were not able to get close to the Sea Cave, but the scenery was still incredible. The snorkeling stop was fun, and the Staff had enough masks/snorkels for everyone. There were some first-timers with our group and there were times when they struggled a bit, but in the parking lot afterwards said they had a great time. The Staff, again, was very patient with them and never made them feel like beginners. We own a kayak, so it was easy for us. . .but you may want to rent once on the mainland (or hotel) before you embark on this one, just to make the whole experience a little easier. We were late to the event (got lost), but the Staff waited for us to get

Hawaiian Canoe Surfing & Paddling Tour Adventure from Waikoloa - Hulakai

I Love Canoe surfing!!

We've been to Hawaii several times, but this is the first time we canoe surfed. This was such a fun activity, and since we purchased it on sale, the value was great! The men who guided us were so nice! They were so friendly and knowledgeable. Not only was it fun, but extremely interesting. They told us a lot of history about outrigger canoeing. The tour was supposed to be a half an hour, but lasted about an hour. Just a heads up you will paddle so there is a bit of exercise (nothing outlandish). Also, if you get sea sick you may want to take Dramamine, since you have to wait for waves just floating there. I would love to do this again!!

Waipio Valley Wagon Tour & Big Island Tropical Waterfalls Adventure [Closed]

This is a very short ride

The ride down into the valley in the 4x4 van was quite beautiful and thrilling on the one lane road which is very steep. The wagon ride itself was very short and leaves you thinking was that it for the money?

If you are traveling with the young or the old you will not be able to go into this valley any other way as I would not recommend you drive there yourself even in a 4x4. The only other way in is to walk and it is very steep walk.

UFO Parasail Adventure - Best Kona Parasailing Tour

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour & Tropical Waterfalls Sightseeing from Hilo

The tour was OK. There was a lot of bus riding just picking folks up and dropping them off. I think were the only folks staying in Hilo. There were a couple of stops at commercial sites that could be left off the tour. The guide was good and knew a lot about the area. This tour could be streamlined and only take half a day.

This is one of the best tours on the big island. I did not have high expectations before the tour. I thought it would be a just a ride through the valley. It was way more than that. The ride in the van just to get down to the valley is something else. The guide was excellent having lived his whole life in the valley. It is a very educational tour.

Amazing Experience

We were on our honeymoon and decided that we wanted to go snorkeling for our 1st time so I did research and this just sounded amazing to have a 2 in 1, snorkel & kayak! Kayaking is something that neither of us had done before either. We got there nice & early and all of the staff were very friendly. The adventure on the ocean was real cool too, the view from the ocean was beautiful along the coast. When we parked our kayaks, we snorkeled and the coral reefs were so pretty and the fish were bright colors like you see in magazines, it was awesome! We got out of the water and climbed the lava rocks and explored the tide pools in the immediate area while other people on our tour were still in the water watching sea turtles. We were asked if we wanted to climb some rocks & jump off the cliffs and I did it in a heart beat cause it looked like fun and it was. The pilot was very knowledgeable of the area and specifics around the volcanic activities as of late. All 4 of us fully enjoyed the flight! We got some great close-ups of the volcano and the remnants of the village that once was there. We didn't see as many waterfalls as I thought we would but it didn't take away from the trip. I would recomend this to any friend or family member.

We had a great time. We were not sure what to expect. The staff was very friendly and full of information. We were able to see Manta Rays and Giant Turtles and many fish. Would recommend for 1st timers to the island. For repeat visitors, a longer boat ride would be recommended as our 30 minutes went by very quickly.

Great Views from the Water

My family of 6 really enjoyed the kayak and snorkeling trip on the Big Island. The guides were extremely friendly, informative, and supportive. We had a couple of stops on the trip out, where we learned more about the island and its history. The snorkeling was great. It also provided a sense of how deep the water was, which made jumping off the cliff much easier. The guides provided plenty of refreshments, which made the trip back a little easier. Kayaking does require physical activity, so be prepared and drink water (which they will provide).
