We saw many beautiful sea creatures in a coral laden ocean! Even a sea turtle surfaced for a few breaths before taking a dive into the turquoise waters again. The captains and naturalist answered questions about the water and its inhabitants. A job well done from beginning to end! Mahalos!

Kona Manta Ray Snorkel & Night Dive Tour at Keauhou Bay - Sea Paradise
Six Amazing Mantas and Rolling Waves
Reviewed by: Jackie, 2024/10/06Night snorkeling with the manta rays was incredible! We had a wonderful show from six different rays the entire time we were in the water. The guides were all very friendly and helpful. They assist with wetsuits before you board, then assist with masks onboard, and assist with floating noodles and less-experienced swimmers while in the water.
A word of warning - the water (and subsequently, the boat) were rolling intensely once we left the dock. And once you leave the dock, there is nowhere to go to get away from the rolling. Several individuals succumb to seasickness on our cruise. Not sure if maybe the ocean was just rough on our night, or if this amount of rocking is normal. Either way, I would advise caution if you are sensitive to motion sickness or vertigo.

Grand Circle Island Tour - Volcano, Black Sand Beach, Waipio Valley & Waterfalls
It's a great way the experience the island in one day
Reviewed by: Sand under foot, 2024/10/06The Grand Circle Island tour is a great way to have a compact adventure all in one day. It was full of beautiful scenic views of cliffsides, beaches, cooled lava formations, waterfalls, volanic crater, and so much more. You experience a hike through a rainforest with some inclines at times, volcanic steam vents that feel like you're in a sauna, turtle viewing at Black Sand beach, cliffsides overlooking crashing waves, a coffee harvesting & processing walkthrough, a lava tube cave, and much more. Some hikes can be a bit challenging if you have mobility problems but our tour guide Brent is so accommodating and on the HNP Kilauea hike, you can ride along with him to the top of the viewing area if you're not able to do the short walk. Additionally, Brent is not just a tour guide, he will transport you to another time. He wove an amazing storytelling of Native Hawaiin history into the scenic mountains, beaches, historical battleground sites, trees, buildings, fantastical stories, and rich cultural backdrop. I walked away with a deep appreciation for how the Hawaiian island and culture came to be. This was an amazing way to experience the island!

Great way to start your Hawaiian Vacation
Reviewed by: sassyn2002, 2024/09/09So from other reviews you know the lines are long, especially in the heat. Now they have water fountains, and it does move semi quickly. But it would make sense to have the vip's seated 1st, then the GA seats enter by sections.
This would help with standing in the sun for to long.
The show it self was fantastic! Very entertaining, and kept you wanting more.
My only gripe, is that I am diabetic, and needed to eat sooner than later, and since I was the last table to be sat, we were the last table to be approved to get up to the Buffet. Also there was no sugar free desserts. Other than that the foods I was able to eat was delicious and flavorful. But I did end up in the restroom for most of the evening once returned back to the room. Could have been that some foods were in the temp danger zone for to long.

5年ぶりの伝統ルアウ&フラ・ハワイアンショーをエンジョイ‼️
Reviewed by: seiさん, 2024/09/01コロナ禍で2020、2021年はハワイに行けなかったが、2022、2023年とオアフ島(ホノルル)で旅行を再開して、今回、5年ぶりのハワイ島旅行となった。いつもの様にワイコロア地区のヒルトンのリゾートに滞在したが、やはり伝統のルアウ＆フラ・ハワイアンショーを見ないとハワイ島に来た感じがしないと思い、これも5年ぶりの観覧となった。当日はスタートから小雨模様で、最初の伝統フラのショーから食事に切り替わる頃に、スタッフが手早くビニルのレインコートを配ってまわり、ポリネシアンダンサーのトーチを使った集団ダンスが佳境に入る頃には雨も細かい霧雨に変わり、観客の殆どがレインコートを脱ぎ去り、司会者の軽妙なリードで会場が一体となってショーに熱狂した。今回、スタートから雨模様のためか、プログラムの進行が全て前倒しで進められ、観客参加のフラがスキップされたりしたのが少々、残念であった。

Deluxe Big Island ATV Tour & Waterfall Swim at Umauma Falls
An amazing adventure!
Reviewed by: Jillian C, 2024/08/28The AT tour was an amazing experience. Our 6 year old had the time of her life. We rode in the 4x4 and we're more protected from mud than the others. We still got a little muddy but it was just enough to be fun.
The waterfall was a great experience. The water was very, very cold. It was nice to wash off and enjoy a snack before heading back.
The weather was cool and wet during our trip. We wore pants and didn't get hot.
I highly recommend the ATV experience. It is a great family adventure. If you need the 4x4, I recommend reserving early as availability is limited.

ケアラケクア湾シュノーケル
Reviewed by: イトーさん, 2024/08/25スタッフが全て英語会話なので、英語のヒアリング力が必要な気がする。それもまたハワイ島に来た感じがしてオッケーな気もする。
シュノーケルポイントは確かに綺麗だが、
もっと透き通る綺麗さかと思っていたが、そうでもなかった。が、初めてのシュノーケルなら満足すると思う。もしかすると前日に雨が降った為、海が荒れていたのかも知らない。晴れの日が続くと海の綺麗さ増す気がする。
シュノーケルをする時間はたっぷりあり、子連れはかなり楽しめます。浮き輪なども充実しており、子供も溺れることなく、シュノーケルに集中出来るので安心。
スタッフのサービスは完璧。チップを渡したくなる対応だった。
船の食事は健康的な食材で、安心して食べれた。
船酔いはしにくい運航だった。

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞
車椅子でも乗れる船でシュノーケリングツアー♪

申し込みの決め手は車椅子のまま乗り込むことができる大型の船、ということでした。
私自身は学生時代ダイビング三昧だったので、船に乗って行けるポイントでのシュノーケリングやイルカウォッチングは子供たちにも体験してほしいことでしたが、車椅子にはなかなかハードルが高く。。今回このような形で行けてとても嬉しかったです。
ただ、集合時間が朝早く、Waikoloaから運転して行くため6時台にはホテルを出なければならず、息子たちは終始眠そうだったのが残念ポイント。。
それでも、貸していただけたシュノーケル＆マスクとフィンが快適で、初めてのオープンウォーターでのシュノーケリングであったにも関わらず全然怖がらず、二人ともとても楽しんでいました。ヌードルという、細長～い浮き具もお気に入りでした。（今回夫は体調もさほど優れずシュノーケリングはしなかったため、やりたいと言えばサポートしてくれたのかどうかは不明です）
子供たちはライフベストを着用、私はこのヌードルだけでしたが、充分浮いていられました。ポイントのお魚は、正直沖縄などよりは種類も少なかったですが、子供たちの初めての体験としてはよかったと思います。
行き帰りにイルカも見られました！
行きに朝食（何種類かのパンと果物やヨーグルトなど）を食べて、シュノーケリングの時間中好きな時に上がって来て昼食のハンバーガーを食べる、という感じでした。昼食で出たタロイモチップスが子供たちのお気に入りでした。
帰りは大物（イルカ、クジラ、マンタなど？）を見つけるために、行きより海岸から離れての長めのクルーズでした。残念ながら遭遇はできませんでしたが、この時間に配ってくれたクッキーが美味しくて、次男はおかわりしていました。笑
半日のツアーでしたが、とても楽しい思い出になりました！
欲を言えば、集合時間遅めのランチだけのツアーがよいかな、と思いました。
ちなみに私と子供たちは酔い止めを飲んで行ったせいか船酔いはしませんでした。夫は少し気分が悪そうでしたので、普段酔わない方も念のため酔い止めをお勧めします！

キラウエア火山 ヘリコプター遊覧 水～土曜日10:30限定で日本語パイロットのリクエスト可能＜フライト100分／英語パイロット／ワイコロアヘリポート＞
日本語ガイドがよかった。
Reviewed by: RygerSeven, 2024/08/22十時三十分出発のツアーで一時間前までにヘリポートに行く必要がある。ヘリポートはワイコロア近くにある。九時半に到着してチェックインしてから、ビデオを見た。時間になりハワイ島を左回りに一周した。約二時間のﾍﾘﾂｱｰ。マサチューセッツ州出身の操縦士が日本語と英語を混ぜながら案内してくれた。登場したのは我々日本人四人と操縦士とアメリカ人二人の合計七人。ガイドは日本語を話せるのでとても助かった。

野生のマンタ シュノーケリングツアー ＜英語ガイド／軽食付き＞
目の前をマンタが泳ぐのが見えた。
Reviewed by: RygerSeven, 2024/08/22夕方六時十五分。ハーバーに集合。トイレは近くの公衆トイレのみ。きれいではない。乗船して近くのポイントに行く。船の中でブリーフィングをするが、英語が分からなくても何とかなると思う。十五分ほどの移動でポイントにつく。マスクとシュノーケルは貸してくれるが、度付きではないので、視力が悪い人は自分のマスクを用意することをお勧めする。船の後部から海に降りる。一メートルほどの長さの浮き具をもって水上に固定してある金属製のバーまで泳ぐ。そこで浮き具を足の甲において、両手は金属製のバーを持ち水面に平行になるように浮く。下を眺めるとライトが下方向に照らしているのが分かる。しばらくするとマンタが下から海面に向かって泳いでくる。こちらに向かってくるような感じがして迫力がある。ただひとによっては暗い中でマンタがやってくるので恐怖を感じるかもしれない。小さい子供だと怖がるかもしれない。この体制を一時間ほどする。私は最初の二十分で十分と感じた。残りの四十分は結構長く感じた。一時間ほど海面に浮いてから船に戻り、船の中でトイレを済ませて、飲み物を飲んでから下船した。下船したのは八時過ぎだとおもう。ここからワイコロアまで一時間ほどかかって帰るので、ワイコロアに戻るのは十時前になり、運転手は結構疲れると思う。それでも迫力のあるマンタには満足した。

最高に良かったです。

日本人で英語が話せなくても何とかなります

事前に参加についてのサインを求めるメールが来るので、参加者全員分を書きましょう。
2人で参加しましたが、1人分書き忘れてしまったため、当日書くことになりました。
また、集合場所では、別のツアーも同時に集まっているようなので、間違いないか確認した方が無難です。（最初、人が集まっているところに行き、名前が呼ばれなかったので確認したところ、別のツアーでした）
英語は、話せなくても大丈夫でした。
早くて何言っているかほとんど聞き取れませんでしたが、スタッフの皆さんが明るく、優しいので、何とかなります。
日焼け止めは船内にあるので、最悪忘れても大丈夫です。
朝食はあまり期待しない方が良いでしょう。
クッキーはとても美味しかったです。
サービスは良かったですが、海が思ったより綺麗ではなかったので、星4です。

Amazing group adventure!

We saw a lot of fish and a few sea turtles. The waters are choppy, so if your prone to motion sickness, come prepared. All snorkel gear was provided. Overall, a fun experience.

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises
Breathtaking Coral ecosystem

That said my 18 and 13 year olds grew tried of it (sigh ) and chose to jump from the different levels of the boat into the water. (The highest level really is quite high!) The excursion was long enough for them to get tires of that and go back out for more snorkeling! The guides were great too. They provided some history behind what we were seeing ranging from the local traditions to the arrival of Captain Cook.
I couldn't recommend this trip more!!

It felt genuine and true to Polynesian history and tradition while still having fun moments and many laughs. The music, dancing, and fire aspects were all top notch. I have also heard that typically the good at luaus is so-so, but the buffet was fantastic as well as the drinks and dessert. Excellent all around. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

The things that brought the experience down a bit for my family were the number of people on the boat, it was very crowded, the way food was handled (you're paying handsomely for some chips and a pretty bland sandwich -- they ask you what you want when you sign up for the boat but on the boat it's a free-for-all, so you might end up with something you didn't want or pay for), and lastly (and again) the number of people on the boat. The first 15 minutes of snorkeling was just spent trying to get away from everyone else so you didn't get kicked in the face or torpedoed by some mid-westerner trying to play aquaman by diving under the water and surfacing right into your abdomen. So yeah, it was OK -- wouldn't do it again for the price though.
