the snorkeling itself was good but not great. not a large variety of sea life. the water was very choppy. Crew were good and helpful. Food was really bad.

Excellent time for the whole family

Grand Circle Island Tour - Volcano, Black Sand Beach, Waipio Valley & Waterfalls
The perfect way to see the entire island!
Reviewed by: sandyc, 2019/07/24Our tour guide knew so much about the island - history, weather, plants, animals, local favorite spots for food and fun, beaches, etc. I wish we had reserved the tour earlier in our stay so that we could take advantage of the tips he gave! We had plenty of time at each stop to really experience each of them - Kona coffee, lava tubes, black sand beaches, turtles, volcanoes, waterfalls and more! We had beautiful weather everywhere except Akaka Falls and the driver was equipped with rain jackets for everyone. I highly recommend this tour!

ワイピオ渓谷 乗馬ツアー 絶景のなかを気軽に乗馬体験 ＜午前・午後／英語ガイド＞ by ナアラパ・ステーブルズ
やっと参加できた
Reviewed by: 体験者, 2019/07/24一人のためなのかいつも予約できなかったが、やっと参加できた。英語のみなので若干心配だったが綱の使い方がわかれば大丈夫。英語がわからなくてもガイドの動かしかたを見ていれば大体分かる。
乗馬自体は別途経験済みだったのでいつも通りだった。馬に乗るのは楽しいしきれいな景色もあり川に入るとかはあるが、特別なものがないところでUターンして戻ってくるだけだった。
急なので大変だが歩いて行くことも可能なので、次回は歩いていってゆっくりしてみようと思った。

Guided Waipio Valley Horseback Riding & Waterfall Tour [Closed]

Nothing like i have EVER seen before and the horses are absolutely amazing. It was my kids and my husband’s first time riding and the horses were great for them! Actually made them fall in love with horseback riding just like I am! So thank you to the ranch for letting us experience that as a family! I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend doing this on your vacation or even if you live there and looking for something to do!

Kona Kayaking & Snorkeling Sea Cave Adventure at Keauhou Bay - Ocean Safari's
Fantastic Adventure
Reviewed by: Ernie, 2019/07/22Our party of 7 had an absolutely fantastic adventure on our sea cave kayak and snorkeling trip. Devon, our guide, was really knowledgeable and very fun to be with. He was very helpful and made everyone feel very comfortable and at ease.
We had a great time kayaking (about 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back), swimming, snorkeling, and even jumping off of a cliff. The visit to the sea cave was also very neat.
We feel like we had 4 different excursions between the kayaking, cliff jumping, snorkeling and swimming, and the sea cave.
We would highly recommend this trip. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our 10 days in Kona.

Naalapa Stables Kohala Horseback Riding Tour on Kahua Ranch
Good horses and cowgirls

We were given the opportunity to cantor and gallop if we wished. The guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun! The green hills and cool breezes were lovely, did not use our jackets although the sun & wind were strong. They recommended a fun place, Fish and Hog, for lunch following the ride. I would recommend this ranch and ride.

とても安全で楽しかったです！

楽しかったんですが…
Reviewed by: よっしー, 2019/07/15とても楽しかったんですが、集合場所に早くに集まったのに、英語での説明はあったらしいが、英語が苦手。その為船に乗るのが遅くなり、二階の日の当たる席しか空いてなく、どうにか日差し遮る場所に座れました。
言葉が通じないってこんな感じなんだなって疎外感
周りの人の様子見ながら食事したり…
英語が全く苦手の人は周りの人の様子観察してください。
海は綺麗だしスタッフも優しいのですが、ちょっとガッカリでした。

スタッフの方もとてもよくしてくれ、英語ができない子どももとても楽しませてくれました。
（大人は少しわかった方がいいです）
行き帰りの移動に3〜40分、乗馬の時間は1時間半くらいですがちょうどいい感じです。
また行きたいです！

We saw wild goats (kau) climbing along the coastline, Cassie taught us some history about Queen Ka’ahumanu, and we saw several mantas up close (hit my snorkel gear close), including Amanda and Big Bertha. We booked the small group tour and it turned out we were the only two - what luck! Would love to do it again!

貴重な体験が出来ました
Reviewed by: choco, 2019/07/12山の上から降りました。途中でガイドさんより説明を受けました。全て英語だったので完全には聞き取れませんでしたが、見るだけでも凄さはわかりました。ガイドさん、ドライバーさんも1人参加の私を気にしてくださり、ツアーのメンバーにも恵まれました。
雨の中で自転車に乗って坂を下りましたが、とても面白い体験が出来ました。靴がびちょびちょになるので何か対策をすると良いかもしれません。レインコートは貸してもらえました。

It was an interesting experience

It was a windy day, so our family were the only ones on the boat, we saw some fishes and lots of corals, and learned some new things about different fish in Hawaii. The turtles were kond of hiding thought, but the captain made every effort on finding at least one for us, so we got to see it on the surface taking a few breaths.

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞
お勧めです。

海のコンディションにもよるのでしょうが、去年別のツアーに参加した際は船酔いでダウンしていた母が、今回はランチのハンバーガーを完食していました。
シュノーケルポイントではウミガメと遭遇。帰路はイルカが船を追いかけてきました。
同乗者料金の設定があるもお勧めポイント。
シュノーケルは無理でも、クルージングは同行したい家族連れに嬉しいですね。

膝にくるけど楽しい
Reviewed by: よしゆき, 2019/07/07７月なので暑かったです。コートや、ブーツの貸し出しもありましたが、要らないくらいです。途中でパラパラと雨が降る事があっても平気でした。日焼け止めクリームは塗っておいた方がいいですね。(塗らずに行ったら真っ赤になってしまいました)
馬の個性があり自分の乗った馬は言うことを聞いてくれませんでしたがそれはまた愛嬌でしょう。

ファイアーダンスは、福島のハワイアンズの方がすごいです。
ご飯は、美味しくはありません。
また、途中で雨が降り、びしょ濡れでした。
ホテル駐車場は三時間までしか無料ではありません。
もし5000円とかなら、それなりにオススメできる内容でした。

Reviewed by: 九州の山男, 2019/07/04地球の創造者しか知り得ない過去から2019.06.27の今日に至るまでの火山が織り成す壮大な歴史が見えた。キラウエアから生まれた新旧の溶岩流が作り出す重なり合った川、人の営み、道路、畑、すべてを呑み込んで流れた様子、なんという偉力。そして海に流れ込んだ溶岩流がこの島を広げていった様子が一望できる。自然の力の凄さが見える。そしてとったんに出来た黒砂海岸は神さまから人へのジョーク交じりのプレゼントか。次に小原山、時間は溶岩を緑豊かな木々を育む土へと変え、また浸食によって絶景を織り成す渓谷や400mから落ちる滝、これら身震いをしてしまう景色をヘリのゲストは味わった。最後に望月パイロットが語れたこの島の人達の火山との共存意識とその積極性は平凡な日常しか無い私の耳から生涯離れそうもない。それどころかこの人生初のヘリコプター遊覧は地球の営みを鳥の目線で目の当たりに出来た。少し大袈裟かもしれないが人生観を変えた。

パートナー撃沈。（こちらの勘違い）
Reviewed by: てっちゃん, 2019/07/02船の揺れが激しく、パートナー撃沈。食事も日本人に全く合いません。強靭な体力を持った欧米人向けのツアーですね。また、ヒルトンワイコロアからは、タクシーで往復210ドルかかります。全ての責任は、オアフ島のディナークルーズと勘違いして申し込んだ当方にありますが、出来れば、それなりに揺れること、また、各リゾートからの港までの時間と交通手段を書いておいてあげると親切かと思います。

Guided Waipio Valley Horseback Riding & Waterfall Tour [Closed]
Peaceful ride through Waipi'o Valley
Reviewed by: NYCTransplant, 2019/07/01Our family had a great time on this horse ride through the peaceful Waipi'o valley. We learned a lot about it from our very knowledgeable guides (they are also residents of the valley!). No riding experience is necessary but our 11 y.o. daughter has taken lessons, and we've done a few other, similar tours. It's all just walking pace (no trotting) but you go through small rivers and streams and see some beautiful vegetation and waterfalls. We were so glad not to have to walk the steep and dangerous path from the main (paved) road down to the valley floor where the stable is. The view from the top is spectacular! We went during an unusually dry and hot spell, so if you go after a rainfall, I'm sure it's even more incredible. What's especially nice is the tour is small (our group was 10 people), so you get highly personalized attention. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen, and bugspray! All in all, I would highly recommend.

If anyone out there reads this review before they come out on a trip with us, just know that any crew member is happy to verbally guide you to some of the best areas to snorkel at our exclusive site.
Finally, sometimes the ocean is choppy. We couldn't run a company like ours if that were a consistent state of our shoreline waters, but it does happen, and is beyond our control. We are always ready with remedies for motion sickness though!
