Good, not exceptional

We felt as though this was a good excursion for the money. However, the appetizers were in short supply. The sunset was beautiful over "Oracle" island and the vessel was plenty roomy.

Awesome staff - Awesome time

The staff really made the trip exceptional. The captain's step daughter picked us up at the resort and she set the tone for the day with her great attitude and eagerness to show us a great time. The captain and the rest of the crew were incredibly personable and we could see that they wanted to make it a great experience. The Alii Nui is an absolutely gorgeous vessel and the food was excellent. We opted to rent an underwater camera, have stills and video shot of us so we purchased the whole media package. We are so glad that we did. The gentleman who handled media was incredibly helpful and he shot some great video of us in the water. We came away with CDs of video and all the pictures we took with the underwater camera - all done before we left the boat. The captain did a great job of positioning the boat for whale watching and we saw more whales on this trip than we did on our whale watching excursion. All in all this was a great experience and we highly recommend it.

A must while in Hawaii

Blue Hawaiian is the company that filmed the scenes for Jurassic Park and our pilot took us out to where the filming took place. Absolutely beautiful. Just the helicopter ride itself is a real rush but to see 2500 ft waterfalls, the tallest ocean cliffs in the world and a rock shaped like a sleeping elephant in the middle of the ocean is just a bonus. The staff was very friendly and the pilot certainly knew the history of the islands; he kept it very interesting. We purchased the DVD of our flight and the DVD of the islands from a helicopter view and both are awesome.
Do it!!
