Inter-Island Day Trips

Maui was the only other island we flew to from Oahu but it was worth the trip. It is a very winding road so take motion sickness medicine if you suffer from motion sickness. Our driver was personable and made the BEST st... moreop for homemade banana bread at Aunt Sandy’s famous banana bread roadside stand. If you get to stop, I highly recommend you get some. From the rainbow Eucalyptus trees to the black lava formations, black sand beach and waterfalls it was a wonderful day trip. We saw turtles sunning on the beach (I think we counted 71 of them) and had a nice lunch at a stop at a ranch. I would recommend this trip to see some of the more laid back Hawaii.

Keith took good care of us. The views were beautiful. We had some nice stops and a casual but delicious lunch. I was disappointed not to be able to do the full ring but understand it was out of the control of the tour co... morempany or driver.

Had an absolutely wonderful time was a little apprehensive about whether or not to do this tour. It is a long tour all day however I wouldn’t change a thing. It absolutely was awesome didn’t even feel like it was 13 hour... mores and it was learned more about the island and the history of the big island that I could possibly have learned anywhere else in a day.

Our driver, Felix was extremely informed patient and of course, a very good driver. To be honest, the driver makes the trip extremely value added. Our driver, Felix takes personal pride and knowing an enormous amount of history and details to be able to not only deliver a good tour guide informational delivery while you’re driving, but is able to answer most questions and yes, even when some of the other clients did some fact checking Felix was spot on on everything that he told us.

This tour is long, but I don’t know of another way that you can actually see so much and learn so much. We went to a coffee farm pastry shop several waterfalls Lookout point a black sand beach so sea turtles saw multiple other wildlife goats, hogs, chickens, ferrets, and the recommendations on things to do places to eat trails to hike. We very much so appreciated.

I would highly recommend this to her to anyone the greatest part about it if you’re writing and not driving, you actually get to see all the beauty that you’re passing up as you drive when you drive you missing an awful lot so let Felix do the driving

If you love snorkeling, a fun boat ride, delicious food - then you have to try this trip at least once so that you can experience the Very Best Trip to Lanai!!! Do it!! You will not regret it.

Ernie was a treat to have as our tour leader, excellent host! Lunch was super. Overall I feel we had the best tour I could have asked for.

Clive was like an old friend you're visiting for one day. One who doesn't mind talking about everything about his life and home. Takes you by the local coffee hangout. Points out the axis deer herd on the plain. Waves to... more all the people he knows. Drops by the Garden of the gods. Shows off the shipwreck beach nearby while pointing out the turtles under your feet. Even harvests a coconut from the beach and takes you by his home to shuck so you can taste the real thing. Can't imagine a better morning.
