Proof Vaccination
Currently proof of vaccination is not a requirement for entry into the United States by U.S Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and Immigrants.
International Travel to Hawaii by Non-U.S. Citizen & Non-U.S. Immigrants
COVID-19 Vaccination
All non-U.S. citizen, and non-U.S. immigrants traveling to the United States are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
You are considered fully vaccinated:
- 2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
- 2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series
- 2 weeks (14 days) after you received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine (not placebo) in a clinical trial
- 2 weeks (14 days) after you received 2 doses of any “mix-and-match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines administered at least 17 days apart
If you do not meet these requirements, you are NOT considered fully vaccinated.
A booster dose is not needed to meet this requirement.

Additional COVID-19 Testing Requirements
Travelers who are flying from China, Hong Kong, or Macau, or have been in any of these areas in the past 10 days and are flying from Incheon International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, or Vancouver International Airport, are required to show show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 2 days before traveling to the United States. Children under 2 years old are not required to show proof of negative test result.

These restrictions this will determine what sectors and businesses will be open and what capacity.
