Recent COVID-19 Information
With the increase in cases of COVID-19 in the state of Hawaii, the following mandates to protect island residents and visitors have been announced:
- The “State-at-Home, Work-at-Home” order for the City and County of Honolulu, will now end on September 24th. (source)
- State of Hawai‘i Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program (RRHAP) has been implemented and provides assistance for Hawai‘i renters who have experienced a reduction in income because of unemployment or a reduction in work hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic. (source)
- Oahu parks, beaches and trails will reopen for “solo activity” until September 23rd. (source)

Due to social distancing initiatives, as well as curfews and quarantines, the majority of the Hawaii’s activities have been closed since mid-March, but have begun to slowly start the process of reopening with social distancing measures in place.
