Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort / Standard Hawaiian Buffet & Hanauma Bay Shuttle Combo
Luau
There were so many activities. We were able to try most of it - canoes, tattoo, made a bracelet/headband, & we even took pictures with the parrots (extra cost for prints). Alcoholic drinks & the food were good. The white haupia dessert is my favorite, but don't eat more than 3 because it is a laxative. Our favorite part of the luau was of course the fire dance, which was really the only dance I paid most attention to. 5 stars because our bus guide Cousin Rich made this that much more fun for us. Going to Paradise Cove & back was never a sleepy ride & was never boring.

Amazing!!
Mandy & Ali were great guides during the entire excursion. We arrived at our destination to pick our food options and grab our snorkeling gear. No restroom on the boat so please go before getting on the boat! You can bring your own drink & snack on the boat since lunch won't be til afterwards. We swam w/ spinner dolphins at our 1st spot. It was so amazing to see the baby dolphins! We explored the reef at our 2nd spot, which had so many different kinds of fishes. Ali swam to us w/ a starfish & other things for pictures & even explained to us what we were holding. After this, they took us out to see the spotted dolphins (Hawaiian name "kiko"). There were sooo many of them riding our waves, swimming under the boat, & flipping in the air. It was so amazing to watch. They explained they were hunting & they hardly see these dolphins. Afterwards, you go back to eat lunch then head back to your hotel. This was the highlight of my trip & I plan to do this again when I come back!

Quick & Easy
Got picked up on time by HOP, picked up a few more others, then headed off to grab our snorkeling gear. We then switched to a different van that took us to Hanauma Bay. We chose 9am but I highly suggest you go as early as possible because there is a line to pay to get into the Bay & you have to watch a short video before entering. We were in line for about an hour or so. There's not much available shade because it gets crowded. So renting an umbrella is highly recommended! Everything about Hanauma bay is amazing & thank you to the shuttle for being on time picking us up from the hotel and also from Hanauma Bay.

I am glad you had a good time. It is recommended that you do go early especially in the summer. During the fall, the crowds usually are not as bad. An umbrella is a great rental option to have in order to get some shade on those hot days.
