Manoa Falls Guided Hiking Adventure [Open 2022]
This was wonderful!
I have to say that our guide was absolutely amazing. I even at one point asked if he was a naturalist. His degree was in polynesian studies, so he wasn't just a 'cab driver' and hiking 'escort'. We felt like we really were educated not only on Oahu, but all of the Hawaiian islands. The hike was an easy one for anyone who has any hiking experience at all. It can be muddy, but it is well worth it. The falls for us were just a trickle as it hadn't rained in a few days and the strength of the falls are obviously directly related to the amount of rainfall. We still felt the hike was worth it, even if it was more like a 'drip' than a 'fall' the education we got about the tree's, plants, history, nuts, animals....you name it. I just can't say enough good things about our guide (Greg or maybe Craig, we can't remember) he was just so knowledgeable and friendly. He spoke with everyone, left no one straggling behind, made sure we all had water and anything else we needed, and really just

Sea Life Park Hawaii Dolphin Experiences & Day Pass
AMAZING!!
First, I just have to say there is nothing you can put into words to describe this experience. It's amazing. We chose the Royal Dolphin swim because I wanted two dolphins to swim with instead of one. I don't know if it made a difference but my husband said I never stopped smiling. I will say two things about this event. My husband is NOT a strong swimmer...so originally we were concerned about him going. I have to say, if you can't swim, you can still experience this. If you can dog paddle you should be fine. Everyone wears heavy duty life vests and floating is no problem even if you're a 220 lb man. So if you have concerns about that... DON'T let it stop you! The only other thing I will say is that we purchased the OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive DVD of our experience. I am a huge advocate of zoo's and aquariums and rarely feel as if the money I've spent is going to waste, however, this DVD was trash. I wasn't expecting much, but out of 2 DVD players and 2 laptops it will only play

WE LOVE RONGO!!
We had a great time on this tour. We saw a little bit of everything. Rongo, our guide, was so much fun, and so knowledgable. He had so much personal knowledge of the island we often felt like we were somehow being driven around by an old friend who wanted to 'show us around'. Rongo was just a great, great guide. We had fun. We had time to take pictures anywhere we stopped, never felt rushed or hurried. Loved everything we saw and felt like we got a very complete 'view' of the island as well as it's history and all of the things that made 'Oahu'....Oahu. We took this tour our second day in Oahu in case we stumbled across something we would want to spend more time investigating later. We're glad we did. Rongo was also willing to give us tips on great places to eat, or grab a drink. We really had fun!

Disappointed
We are a military family and this particular tour was by far the most important to my husband and I as he is an officer who had only returned home from his 2nd tour to Iraq 15 days prior to our arrival in Hawaii. We felt a tremendous amount of reverance for Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri. Our guide unfortunately made this a miserable experience. You will notice it says "Live historical narration by an expert guide" as you read through what you'll see on the Missouri. They do NOT mean you will have a guided TOUR of the Missouri. We took 7 tours while in Hawaii and this one unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. We were picked up late (as were other guests) and were driven to the USS Arizona where we were rushed through the entry gate. Once inside, we were told we would need to reboard the bus and go to the USS Missouri instead. We were rushed back to a bus while our guide yelled at people to 'hurry up'.
