Excellent!
Having lived on Oahu for 5.5 years in the 50s, my sister and I were anxious to visit old haunts, outside the Waikiki area and this tour certainy accomplished that for us. Our guide, Greg, went above and beyond the list of attractions/sights we were scheduled to see and had such a breadth of knowledge about the islands' history, culture and general Hawaiian topics that we came away from the tour much more informed than when we started it. He was witty, caring and very dedicated to his job, making all his passengers feel very special for a day.
From giving us hints about how to get the best seats on the boat for the Arizona Memorial in the morning until the time he dropped us off - exhausted - at the end of the day, touring with Greg was like being part of an extended family.
If there were more than 5 stars, this tour and the guide would get them. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - on the first day of our 10-day trip - and set the standard by which we judged the others we took

Super Ambassador so worth it!
My sister and I had lived on Oahu for 5 1/2 years in the 50s and returned for her 70th birthday. The PCC was not in existence when we lived there but I had visited it with my husband in the 70s. Since we didn't think we would travel to Hawaii again, sis and I decided to go "whole hog" and booked the Super Ambassador package for this outing and luau.
To say it was well worth the extra money is putting it mildly! We were treated like royalty from the minute we got off the bus.
Beke (from Mongolia) was our personal guide for the day and gave us each a beautiful shell lei which identified us all day as SAs. Beke couldn't have been more helpful - she carried any extras we had (umbrellas, sweaters - you name it), got us ponchos when it started to rain, dried off the seats we had to sit on for performances after it rained; if there was anything to be done, she did it and with the friendliest attitude we could have wished for. She was punctual, turning up exactly on time when she ha

Wonderful tour
Having lived on Oahu for 5 1/2 years in the '50s and never having visited any of the other islands, my sister and I were expecting to see something different and unique. This tour certainly filled the bill and was both those things - and more! Our tour guide - Patty -was very knowledgeable about local and island history and places of interest. She stopped at more than the expected stops and we had plenty of time at each one of them to take pictures, visit any shops that were there and generally get a feel for the place. The fact that we were a small group - just 8 of us on a mini-bus - was fantastic and we turned into a group of 6 after lunch after dropping one couple off back at their Kauai hotel.
It was wonderful to see the unspoilt beauty of Kauai, much as Oahu was when we knew it and before development spoiled it. We were so happy to hear that there has been a limit put on the number of stories hotels there can have, albeit after Marriott built their 8-storey one. At lea
