Fun Attraction for All!
My husband and I booked a tour to the Sea Life park and we had a great time! There was plenty for us to do there with just the general admission but they also have options where you can swim with dolphins or sea lions.
We spent the day watching the shows and checking out the different animals. We even got to feed the sea turtles and pet a 3 week old sea turtle which was really fun. There's great views of the ocean from the park, and there's a beach within walking distance if you have time to check it out too. We didn't have time to go to that beach but it looked nice and a lot less crowded than Waikiki.

Good Tour for Oahu Whale Watching
We booked the early bird whale watching tour in early January. The ship, crew and food were great but we didn't see as many whales as I had hoped. We did find two whales swimming together and the ship was able to follow them for awhile so we got a few good pictures of the whales blowing water up, their backs surfacing and their tails coming out of the water.
It sounds like that was considered a good trip for Honolulu whale watching so I was happy with it. A lady we talked to had gone out on the same tour the day before and she didn't see anything so she came back out with our group the next day.
If you're looking to really see the whales, I would suggest going to Lahaina in Maui if possible. My husband and I booked an island tour of Maui later on in our vacation and we saw more whales in a shorter time period by driving down the coast near Lahaina than we did on our whale watching tour in Honolulu. It's still a good tour for those in Oahu though!

See Many Areas of Oahu in One Day!
The tour was fun and we were able to see many of the famous attractions in Oahu in just one day. Our tour guide was friendly and very informative. At times the tour felt a little rushed though because there were so many different places we were going to.
I wish we would have had a little more time to spend at the Polynesian Cultural Center because there was so much to see there. For Pearl Harbor, we just went to the Arizona memorial but we got pictures of the Missouri so I was happy with that part of the tour. The Dole Pineapple Plantation turned out to be more of a tourist trap and wasn't an actual Pineapple Plantation. We only spend about 20 min there, but they have the best pineapple flavored ice cream with pineapple topping that I would highly recommend!
The other areas we visited such as the temple, north shore, and lookouts were like bonuses for the trip. It was really nice to see the more rural areas of Oahu compared to the busy city of Waikiki.

Fun Nature Adventure
The climb to Diamond Head wasn't as tough as I expected. There were beautiful views of the ocean and of Waikiki at the top. The climb was well worth it. We went to Haunauma Bay next and spent about 3 hours there. It was really windy the day we went though so the high waves made it somewhat hard to snorkel through. I heard it's better to go earlier in the day before 10am, but we still had fun there. It's a very beautiful bay and not nearly as crowded as Waikiki. I would recommend it even for people who aren't snorkeling.
