Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort
Good Luau
As we have done a couple Luaus before I knew what to expect. This is a pretty good one - their location is fantastic - much better than Germaine's. And really loved the Hawaiian activities before the dinner. The food and drinks were average though. The drinks at Germaine's were a lot stronger. This Luau was also a little more restrained - better for families and older couples? Germaine's was a lot more fun and relaxed.

Honolulu Airport Shuttle (HNL) by Ilima Tours
Good Transportation
Since this was a return visit for us all we needed was your basic transport to and from the airport. This fit the bill. Due to some airplane scheduling our pickup was a little delayed so we had to wait a bit for our escort but that was fine. We had the same driver there and back. Would reccomend this outfit - but not if you are looking for a personal touch and a big welcome for firstimers.

Great Experience!
We had yet to visit the Ranch on our previous trips and thought it would be a nice new thing to do. We did the half day morning experience - did the Movie tour and Jungle tour. Lots of driving around but wonderful to see all the movie sites and the jungle rainforest. The Jungle tour was a bit bumpy but worth vistas! If you love adventure I would reccomend these but if you don't want to get bumped around and have the constant smell of diesal than I would choose some more of the sedate activities like the swimming in the ponds etc. Would loved to have tried horseback riding but we have a 6 year old and you have to be 10+
