Great experience overall
The snorkeling portion of this activity was amazing! Beautiful fish everywhere! Hanauma Bay was breath taking. I wouldn't recommend taking small children. Waves were strong and my husband and I cut ourselves a couple of time on the reef but it was a wonderful experience. The staff was super nice and made the trip very enjoyable. On the other hand, the makani sail boat tour wasn't that pleasant. The ride itself was spectacular but the owner was rude. He continuously commented on how much his expenses were and how he wasn't making any money and that he hated his job. It was really depressing and didn't make for a pleasant trip. On top of that the owner made fun of my husband and I for our southern accents. Not just clean funny jokes but very rude comments that I did not appreciate at all. When we got there to check in we were ignored and the cashier was very rude and told us we would have to wait then we tried to get on the boat but needed a boarding pass that the cashier was supposed to

Awesome Experience!!!
This was a very unique place. It was beautiful. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgable. The night show was the best show I have ever seen. My recommendation is to get the ambassodor package so that you have a guide. It is very crowded and somewhat hard to navigate around so having a guide is definitely worth the extra money. Food wasn't that great but was the same as other luaus in the area. Overall it's a must see!
