good time had by all
My second time to the crater. This time much less fish, though this is not the fault of the tour, of course. Staff and crew very friendly and helpful. We couldn't go to the turtles because of high winds, but ran into a school of spinner dolphins on the way in and the captain kept us in amongst them for extra time just for our enjoyment! Definitely the highlight of the tour!
Luau was way better than one we had in Kauai last trip. Food was very good and show excellent!
This combination is a very good bargain in our opinion.
Went snorkeling later at Honolua bay above Kapalua and it's got a better reef and more fish than the crater- and it's free.

Fun but couple of problems
The ride itself was excellent, and for us first-timers, a really great experience. The boat was late, however, but they promised us a free video of the ride for some compensation. The video won't work, and I suspect the lens cap was left on the camera (sound but black picture). We took our own videos, though, and since we weren't charged for the video it's not a big deal.
No complaints at all about the ride and the employees, though.
