The audio tour in Iolani Palace was excellent. It would have been nice to have been allowed to take photographs inside the Summer House and Iolani Palace but perfectly understandable why this is denied. Excellent tour and well worth joining for anyone interested in Hawaii's history

しんどいけど楽しい
Reviewed by: yamato, 2012/05/23ロッカーのあるショップに到着すると説明をうけてカイルアビーチへ。その後ランチとカヤックがあるので、ビーチで遊べるのは実質1時間くらいでした。
カイルアビーチはとってもきれいで、風がきもちよかったです。
さてカヤックですが、運動音痴でブヨブヨバディの私には正直しんどかったですが、最下位でなんとか無人島に到着。そのことで夫婦喧嘩になりテンションがさがってしまったのですが、インストラクターの元気で頼りがいのある逞しい姿に後押しされ楽しく過ごせました。無人島ではインストラクターの方が鳥や神話の話をしてくれて楽しかったです。
体力のないパートナーと行かれる方は、怒らずにリードしてあげて下さいね。それが楽しむ秘訣ですよ。

Just be careful and try NOT to eat anything before coming to this activity as there are high chances of you puking after u are done and also u might feel like relaxing the rest of the day ...so donot plan something very important on the same day...
Though very exciting...I personally felt it is little dangerous too...
Staff did assure us the safety and told us they have been doin this since 11 years and not even a single person was hurt by a shark so far....which is gud

After our trip we were allowed to use either snorkle gear or bicycles until out tour bus picked us up. Staff is very polite and attentive!

Reviewed by: MARK, 2012/04/30THE DRIVER/GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND KEPT US ENTERTAINING FOR THE MOST PARTS. HE GAVE US CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS AND WAS A GREAT ASSET TO HAVE IN THIS TOUR.
WE COULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME ON THE ISLAND TOUR INSTEAD OF THE CULTURAL CENTER.
FINALLY THE NIGHT SHOW WAS WELL DONE. SUPRISED TO SEE HOW STUDENTS COULD PUT UP A PROFESSIONAL SHOW LIKE THIS. SOMETIMES I WONDER WHETHER THEY COME HERE TO STUDY FOR A CAREER OR ENTERTAIN THEMSELVES.

本当に綺麗です。
Reviewed by: みるみる, 2012/04/25カイルアには昨年１月に行き、その時は観光のみで泳がなかったので、この次は絶対海に入るぞっと思い、参加しました。
風が強く、少し肌寒かったですが、綺麗な景色でのんびりできました。
結構沢山の参加者でしたが、ショップの方はテキパキと指示されて時間のロスも無く良かったです。
ショップからビーチまで歩いて行く間にある、小さなマーケットで朝ごはんを買ってビーチで食べたのも、美味しかったです。
（あとから有名なマーケットだったとわかりました。）
お昼のピザも美味しかったです。ピザのお店のおばさんも楽しい人でした。
急に決めた旅行でしたが、Alan１さんは申し込み即確約できて、プランが立て易かったです。またお世話になりたいです。有難うございました。

とにかく漕ぎまくった!!
Reviewed by: Kei&Tomoe, 2012/04/23今回、ガイドさん付きのツアーは私達夫婦一組だけ。夫はカヤック経験者だけど、私は初。そんな私のためにカヤックの乗り方、パドルの使い方を丁寧に教えてくれました。『実践あるのみダネ~♪』と意気揚々と道具を持ち、海へと歩くこと3分ほど。目の前にはカイルアの青い青い海が広がっていて、海ガメさんがお出迎え♪顔を水面から出したりしててカワイイ~。が、、、感動する暇もさほどなく、おっかなびっくりカヤックに乗っていざ大海原へ。。300~400m離れた無人島を目指してひたすらガイドさんについて漕ぐ、漕ぐ、漕ぐ。。向かい風にも負けず漕いでいると、ゆらゆらと別の海ガメさんが近くを泳いでる!!まさかの遭遇に、漕ぐのを一瞬忘れ二人で『おぉ~~~っっ!!!』と大騒ぎ!!感動も束の間、ふと我に返りパドルを亀さんにぶつけないように気をつけながら再び漕ぐこと20分。島に無事に到着♪なぜこの島が出来たのかとか、渡り鳥の習性、保護地区であることを詳しく教えてくれました。途中、穴の中に渡り鳥のツガイを見つけたり、カニの抜け殻を見つけたり、大騒ぎしながら一周歩きました。その後、ラニカイへ渡ってシュノーケルをしたい、という私達の希望をガイドさんは快く引き受けてくれて、再びカヤックへ。島からラニカイビーチまでは波に対して直角に漕ぐので、砂浜に流されないようにするのが大変だった･･。嬉しいことに、その途中でも海ガメさんに遭遇。今度は子ガメで、小さくて可愛かったぁ~(*^^*)こんなに会えるなんて思ってもみなかっただけに、ラッキーなことこの上ないね、と話しながら『天国の海』へ。ラニカイはサンゴ礁がたくさんあって、シュノーケルには絶好の場所！ガイドさんと一緒にシュノーケルを楽しみました。小さな魚や大きな魚、色とりどりの魚たちが出迎えてくれてさっきまで漕ぎまくった疲れも吹っ飛びましたね。泳ぎがあまり得意ではなく、遠くまでは行けなかったけどガイドさんは『こ~んな大きな魚（1メートルくらい）がイタヨ！』と大喜びでした☆
15分ほどシュノーケルを楽しみ、写真を3人で撮り合い、大騒ぎしてとても楽しかった~!!!!2時間のﾂｱｰｶﾞｲﾄﾞもあっという間で、再びカヤックでカイルアへ向かい、Shopへ戻ってガイドさんとはお別れ･･･。その後はピザ屋さんでのランチとフリータイム。ランチ後はもちろん再びカイルアビーチに戻りましたが♪キレ

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/04/11One word...INSANE! By far one of the coolest things I have ever gotten the chance to do. Some of the sharks even sueface and you can see their fins cutting through the water like Jaws. They are very non-agressive...they know you are there but they could care less...they just want some crab. I was able to go mid-March during whale watching season and the whales gave us a great show...one actually came out of the water about 100 yards from the boat, it was absolutely breath taking. I would definitely go again and drag everyone I know! Thank you North Shore Shark Encounters for an unforgettable experience!!

Bumper Tube & Banana Boat Rides at Hawaii Water Sports Center
GREAT TIME~~~!!!
Reviewed by: Ms. Rosie, 2012/04/08My kids had a blast!! The minute we arrived, Chris was there to greet us and within minutes my kids were on the banana boat having the time of their lives. They fell off couple of times when the banana boat zipped over the wakes but they swam back, got back on and did it all over again! My kids told me the best part was the bumper tube, they all had some incredible air time LOL. This is such a great activity and as a parent to see my kids have fun, smile and tell me they had soooooooooo much fun..such an incredible feeling! I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know!!!

Oahu to Kauai One Day Tour - Waimea Canyon & Wailua River Cruise with Lunch
A great way to see the island
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/04/07This was a great tour, but a lot of driving. Our driver, Juan ( might be misspelled) is a native hawaiian and shared a lot of fact and fable. He played a video about how Jurasic Park was made, and as we drove around you can see where parts of the movie were filmed. We had plenty of time at each stop. I thought the fern grotto was a bit lame. The ferns were destroyed in a hurricane years ago, so the ones that were there were small. It wasnt what I expected. And there were mosquitos at the grotto. It would be nice if the driver had bug spray or something. We came back with a lot of bites. The boat ride was frustrating. It is a wide boat, with a low roof. The guide kept talking about the mountains or things on top of the hills, and most of us couldnt see what he was referring to because of the low roof. On one hand, seeing the island through a tour is a great way to learn a lot about the island. On the other hand, renting a car allows you to stop where you want to (little s

A great way to see the island
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/04/07This is a great way to see the island. The driver was very knowledgeable, and we visited some beautiful areas. We had about 15 min. at each stop, which was fine, except at the Dole plantation. Honestly, I dont know why they bother. In 15 min we had time to get our ice cream, and that was it. No time to browse the gift shop at all, or browse the grounds at all. Either allow more time at Dole, or skip it altogether. The driver could use a bell of some sort. We often had to wait for people who didnt return when they were supposed to. I dont know if those delays made much difference, we still got to the Polynesian Cultural Center around 1pm, which was plenty of time. The evening show after the luau was fantastic.

This is a great package if you're just looking for a luau (buffet style with entertainment) and an excellent evening show. Will definitely go back for an entire day trip!

Reviewed by: Jamie, 2012/03/27I had friends visiting the islands, and they wanted to do something a bit different, and 'off the beaten path' so I decided to take them Ocean Kayaking over in Kailua! We headed out, a bit late, and got there and the staff at Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks were amazing and friendly, telling us all the best insider tips for kayaking out there! We got out into the ocean, and it was extremely windy and choppy, but it was so much fun heading out to Flat Island and then over to the beach for a bit of relaxing snorkeling and sunbathing. Thanks again to the great staff at Kailua Sailboards for all their help with everything kayak and ocean related, my friends and I had a blast braving the elements and spending the day out on the water!

船酔い注意。

横揺れがかなりありましたので、
気分が悪くなっている方もいらっしゃいました。
→海にモドシマス。。。
檻の中に入りますので、安全ですが、
波が結構荒くて、大変っていえば大変です。
檻の中の場所によって、
写真がよく撮れたり、サメが近くに見れたり
多少は差があると思います。
私は必死で潜って写真とりましたが、
ゴーグルして、水中カメラ(インスタント)でしたので、
被写体がずれたり、
日陰がうまく写ってくれなくて、悲しかった。
でも、サメの鋭い目は記憶にはっきりとあります♪
3月はまだ寒いので、羽織るものは必須です。
水着のままでいる方もいらっしゃいましたが、
海になれてない方は、
トレーナー位の厚さの上着でも良いと思います。
終わっての感想ですが、
また参加したい(笑)♪

Reviewed by: Josh G, 2012/03/23Booked this activity about 2 weeks before I left for Oahu. Pure excitement before launch. It was a quick ride out to the location, easy intrusctions and pure fun and amazement being able to see sharks in the natural habitit. They seemed to be flying effortlessly through the water around the cage and the boat and showed no aggression towards us, only curiousity. Such a great experience and wish I could of done it each day for the rest of my vacation. i highly recommend this for EVERYBODY.

Reviewed by: Kingfubu, 2012/02/28There is a lot of traveling back and forth then actual viewing spots, and because of that there was not enough time at Waimea Canyon which is the main spot of the trip. People taking half day tour should not be mixed with fullday tour, there was a lot of time lost in going back and forth droping those people, and the return flight to oahu should be planned accordingly we had to wait 2 hrs at the airport.
