North Shore Shark Adventures - Oahu Cage Diving Tour with Waikiki Transportation
Don't be scared - This is a MUST!!
Reviewed by: David, 2016/01/14OK, so the idea of going to 'find' sharks as opposed to avoiding them at all costs can take a little getting used to. However once I'd gotten over that, I have to say this is one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had (and enjoyed) on the island.
There's two basic times that you can go out, Super early or Early, Yes that's right, Don't plan on a late night in the bar the night before trying to drum up Dutch courage because this boat leaves early and you want to get your sleep in.
After a leisurely 20-25 mins boat ride out (i think they said about 2 miles) to the dive site you arrive in an open water area, engines are cut and you pull up next to the cage. A quick chat from the crew, and two groups are selected A & B, This ensures you have maximum space in the cage and is a really cool idea.
We climbed in first, GoPro's on and ready to start shooting...
The cage is actually rather large and you definitely want to be up close to the bars hold on, and go down to get your first glimpse... I'm not going to say much more on what you'll see but I will say, This is a guaranteed sharks (plural, many lol) shark tank dive. They big, upclose and personal and you are totally safe in your secure housing...
You get ample time to take selfies, group shots, dive down again, hold the bottom of the cage etc as these amazing creatures swim all around you.
I'd forgot my wrist strap for my cam, No problem, The crew guy noticed as I was getting ready ad gave me a cool wrist-strap for it (thick rubber band!) Awesome Service.

ツアーは楽しいが船酔いに注意！
Reviewed by: GOK, 2016/01/13ツアー自体はすごく楽しかったです。ノースショアはサーフィンで有名な高波のビーチなので、目的地まで向かう間はかなり揺れます。普段、船酔いしない私でも気分が悪くなりました。
自分以外にも４～５人気分の悪そうな方がいましたし、吐いている方もおられました。ツアーに参加される方は酔い止めをお忘れなく。

Great Service
Reviewed by: Dirk, 2016/01/09Just as I have used Platinum to take me from the airport to my hotel, I also have used them for years to return me to the airport following my stay in Paradise. And, as always, their car is always on time with an extremely professional driver and newer clean car. You cannot ask for anything more! Your ride to the airport is hassle free without having to make many stops to pick up other passengers at various hotels around Waikiki in a van or bus. It's a great service that I will continue to use each time I visit the Islands.

PCC experience

The dinner show is good too . The MC is wonderful but it will be good to have some quiet moment for table conversation and not so rushed to eat. But this is just our view for your consideration. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great flight

It was a beautiful clear day and our pilot, Kristi (sp), was extremely good at narrating the tour of the Island as she flew and was also very funny. The only disappointment that I had was that the video recorder on the helicopter was broken so I wasn't able to purchase a DVD of our flight. Had I known this before we took off, I would have taken many more pictures. My fault for not asking!

Polynesian Cultural Center Tour Ticket - Full Day Admission, Dinner & Show
Best Guided Tour EVER! Two Thumbs up WAY UP...
Reviewed by: Brando Quinn, 2016/01/01I really had no idea of what was in store for my wife and I when I signed up for the Super Ambassador Full Day Package with Private guide at the Polynesian Cultural Center, it turned out to be the best guided tour we could have ever anticipated! The comfortable Motor Coach picked us up promptly at our designated hotel location. The motor coach driver and guide were gracious and told us various facts, pointed out points of interest along the way, and set the tone for the rest of the day that would be spent at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
When we arrived the group was given their designated tickets and soon our guide a student of BYU University and from the Philippines introduced himself. Datz began our tour and skillfully navigated us through each of the Polynesian Islands exhibits granting us front row seats to each show, gave us back stage tours, and overall made this one of the best tours I have ever been on! We were delighted to experience the rich cultural heritages of each island group, ate fantastic food at the Luau, and were fascinated with the finale show "Ha' The Breath of Life".
Two thumbs up WAY up! Would I recommend this Super Ambassador Package with Private Guide? Absolutely!

Okay but not what I was expecting
Reviewed by: Melanie, 2015/12/29It was a little hard to find the meeting spot, and the description of the tour didn't match what actually happened. First, I thought we would be on a smaller, old-fashioned trolley. We actually rode on a double-decker tour bus, and the fumes were awful on the lower level. The description of the tour said that we would make 2 circuits around Waikiki to see the lights and made no mention of getting off the bus at any time. But, we actually stopped at the extremely crowded Honolulu City of Lights for 30+ minutes, which I was not expecting.

待合せ場所を間違えてしまい、つたない英語で事情を催行会社に電話で伝え、迅速に対応していただいた結果、事なきを得ましたが、他のツアー客の皆さんにご迷惑をかけ、申し訳なかったです。
イルミネーションは、控えめかなと感じました。もしかしたら日本の方が派手かもしれませんが、ハワイでのクリスマスを満喫するにはいいと思います。

Reviewed by: Simon, 2015/12/26It was beautiful, fun, exhaustive, but very commercial. I truly wanted to know more about the history of the first Hawaiian, but I was let down on that expectation. The dancers, the show at the end, the luau, the many islands with their respective activities were very interresting and beautiful, though. It's worth it, but dont expect it to replace the viewing of a good documentary. Also, the fact that this olace is ran by Mormons is extremely apparent through many not so subtle references in history plaques, or the simple fact that there was no alcool at the Luau. Still a solid activity, and it was worth it. We had the full day package (110, I think).

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2015/12/25朝早いツアーだったのと、水が冷たいんじゃないかとそれがすごく心配だったが、意外と入ってしまえばそこまで寒くもなく、もうシャークが見えた瞬間から夢中（笑）ただ揺れがすごいからシュノーケルはあまり意味なし（笑）酔い止め飲んでたからまったく船酔いもせずにうちらが乗ったときは誰一人として具合悪い人いなかった。かなりの数のシャーク見れて満足！ただやっぱり揺れがすごいから写真はあまりきれいにとれなかったな～★高いけどDVD買うのがいいかも～。うちらはかった（笑）なかなかできないことだからやる価値はあり(^^)/刺激が欲しい人にはおススメ～(＾◇＾)

Reviewed by: Dirk, 2015/12/21Spending a day at the PCC is always a highlight of my visits to The Islands! Although it is a long day, it is an entertaining and extremely educational day. I strongly recommend that you take advantage of the Ambassador package since you will have a guide for the entire day and can enjoy either the luau or the prime rib dinner prior to the evening show. I did the luau this year and really enjoyed it. The night show is awesome!

迎えも時間通りで、到着してからお昼まではボディボードやシュノーケルを貸していただき、カイルアビーチで遊びました。
昼ご飯はピザ、BBQプレート、サラダボールから選べますが、、、ピザを断然お勧めします！
特にほうれん草とガーリックのピザが絶品です！レストランの店員さんも陽気で、楽しく食事することができました！
昼ご飯を食べた後、カヤックをビーチまで引っ張って行きます。
フラットアイランドまで15分程度だったと思います。
フラットアイランド到着後はガイドのヤスヨさんから島の生態系やハワイの歴史について等、様々な説明を受けることができました。
写真もたくさん撮ってくれ、本当に楽しい時間でした。
カヤックでカイルアビーチに戻った後は、再びカヤックを引っ張ってお店まで戻ります。
行きも帰りもカヤックを自分たちで引っ張って行きますが、特に負担には感じませんでした。
本当に楽しかったです！！！

It is so very nice to have a clean car and courteous driver waiting for you to take you to your hotel after a very long day of flying. Although it may cost more than the shuttle services, it is well worth the added expense when you want to begin your stay in Paradise!

The worst part was not enough time was allowed for seeing the displays at the Hale building. The trolley was decorated nicely and the driver was pleasant but radio was used for music which was interrupted with talking. I doubt I will do this again due to parking cost added to ticket cost. :-(

本当に楽しい！初心者にも優しかった
Reviewed by: まひる, 2015/12/11晴れましたがとても風が強い日でした。カヤックは風が強いと、たどり着くまでが時間がかかり漕ぐ力も必要になりますが、教えてくれた女性がとっても面白くていい方でした。たどり着いたときの感動はひとしお！ハワイで一番面白い体験をできました。あと、ピザ本当においしかったです！いつかまた絶対来たいです。ただ、他のツアーの方を待つのに30分くらい待ったりする時間もあったので、ラニカイビーチには20分もいられず残念！あと一時間長ければより満足でした。

The motorcoach was impeccably clean and modern and Patrick was friendly, funny, and completely knowledgeable about everything Hawaiian that all of us asked him. I particularly liked that Patrick kept track of us at all times and was at all rendezvous sites at Pearl Harbor on time. It was great to know that he was looking out for us and took a personal interest in all of us. Patrick is a wonderful ambassador of your company and of your motorcoach and guide services. By the way, I'm not related to Patrick, but I am a former motorcoach bus captain myself for several years in Virginia. Patrick is a man worth keeping happy; you do not want to lose this gem to a competitor! We were very glad we found VELTRA online for our Pearl Harbor and Honolulu transportation and tour on 11/27/2015.

Kailua Beach Kayak Rentals & Guided Kayaking Tours with Snorkeling & Lunch

We arrived and easily took our own kayaks to the beach. Highly recommend going to Lanikai beach and snorkeling. We chose the pizza for lunch and it was great!

Worth it
Reviewed by: David, 2015/12/04Got the ambassador pkg and the prime buffet. Most folks didn't get the prime buffet. Really enjoyed our time. For me the ambassador package and prime buffet option was really worth it. Even though I had the rental car I took the bus from Waikiki. I think the bus is a must since it was informative and enjoyable and funny and set the stage for fun. Veltra was awesome. They can easily get you booked and all set to go.
