Reviewed by: ゆ～りちゃん, 2015/06/17普段乗馬を習っていて、これに参加したらポロ競技場で乗馬ができるのかと思っていたのですが、違いました。側道や海沿いを並足で歩くだけのいわゆる体験乗馬でした。
途中で海岸を歩けるのかと思ったら、波が荒くて近寄れなくて、ガイドの女の子に聞いたら（ファミリービジネスの末っ子さんらしい）いつも荒れてるとのことで・。
アラン１さん掲載の写真は写真を撮るために浜辺に入って撮影するだけのものでした。
終わった後に、駈け足ができなかったと伝えたら、アドバンスドコースというのがあるらしく、明日予約が入るのでそちらでどうかと言われましたが翌日帰国だったのであえなく断念しました。アラン１さんにそのコースがなかったのが残念です。

Amazing Shark Adventure
Reviewed by: webstersway, 2015/06/13I must admit, I was a bit apprehensive about this adventure as the fateful morning arrived. We were in Oahu visiting our Son and his wife, she was particularly interested in the shark tour. My wife, on the other hand, would have none of it, fortunately, they have an 'Observer' option available. We boarded the Kai Ou after removing our shoes and headed out. The Captain explained that the sharks had become accustomed to the sound of the engines since there had been crabbing done in the past and they would not need to chum the water...we were going to be the bait. The water was absolutely beautiful, a bit on the choppy side, however, which made entering the cage a little more adventurous. It was really amazing being in the water with the sharks all around, there were between 8 and twelve, plus a few other fish, including some very large Trumpet Fish. I think my wife got the worst end of the deal as she was sea sick when we got back in the boat. The crew members were awesome, I would definitely recommend this adventure!!!

鮫はすごいけど波もすごい

また、写真はお金を払ってクルーにとってもらったほうがいいですよ！他のかたが撮ってもらった写真を見ましたがとても素敵でした！

Great Time!

You can watch the sharks from the boat while the other groups go too so you aren't bored. I do a lot of snorkeling and diving around the island, but this was a very unique experience. North Shore Hiking Tours from Haleiwa with Expert Local Guide & Lunch
North Shore Hike
Reviewed by: Ashley, 2015/06/07I live here on the island and do a good amount of hiking. I thought this hike was pretty cool! Our guide, Nui, was extremely knowledgeable about the Hawaiian culture and plants in the area. The trail has TONS of strawberry guava and mountain apple trees along it. He pointed out plants that were native. He also pointed out the invasive plants, the problems they cause, and how or why they were brought here. It was very interesting! What made this hike special for me was is that we were hiing deep into the mountains where there aren't any houses or sign of urban development in view. This is quite rare for me. Most of the hikes I've done, known or less known, have some area that shows a city or buildings or concrete structures. Nui also stopped at a campsite to let us get some beautiful scenic pictures. This was my favorite part of the trip. The view of rows of ridges and the valley that we were hiking in was breathtaking.

楽しかったよ～

最初は、ドキドキ、一度、飛んでしまえば、ワクワクです。
インストラクターの方々は、陽気ですが、安全は、徹底していて、安心できます。
ラインは、全部で、7本。
最初は、必要以上に力んでしまいますが、最後の2本位になると、後ろ向きで、スタート出来たり、逆様で、ピースサインとかも、出来るようになります。
滑空(正確には、滑走)中は、とても気持ち良く、ケアナファームの広大な景色と相まって人生初体験の感動です。
別段、体力や、技術は入りません。
楽しく、空を飛ぶ感覚を是非、経験して見てください。
機会があれば、私もりぴーとです。

１．５時間じゃ足りなかった～！！

旦那＝初乗馬、息子８歳＝初一人乗り。
正直、旦那の「まあまあ、子供の経験の為にね・・・」的などうでもよかったみたいな感想が来るかと思ってました。
前日の動物園でも行こうか？なんて話してたんですが、
ここで十分な位いろんな動物がいました（＾ｕ＾）
スタッフは全員日本語話せません。
簡単に説明やら雑談やらして、そろそろって時に荒馬登場！！！
「誰が乗るか？！」とドキドキでしたが、勿論スタッフさんが乗りました（ホッ！）
皆、順番で馬にまたがり写真撮影！ すご～く素敵でかっこいい写真がとれました！
出発して暫くはカメラマンも徒歩で先回りして取ってくれました。
ハワイ特有の赤土の山を、花や木や鳥を見ながら登って行き、すごい風景の場所に到着！！！
気持ちいい風の中、広がる草原、海。
最高でした！
下る途中に、景色の良かった場所はあそこら辺だって、結構山の上の方を指してました。
心配していた８歳も、しつけられた馬だったので問題なし。
途中馬が走りそうになりビビって止めたんですが、本人は走って欲しかったって・・・
こちらも心配していた旦那ですが、「乗馬舐めてた！最高だった！またやりたい！」
と子供の様な事をおっしゃってました。
帰りにノースに寄ってブラブラと出来るし、
次もガンストックランチ行きます!

The Busで行ったのですがバス停に名前はありません。
一か八かです。
牧場では日本語は一切通じません。
通じませんが、みなさん笑顔で対応してくださり、とても親切でした！！
乗馬ではこんなところも行くの？！っと思うような森？だったり、のんびり牛や他の馬などを眺めながらゆったり乗馬したりでとてもいい時間を過ごすことができました。

ジップラインは楽しい
Reviewed by: 元気なシニア, 2015/04/2860歳をとうに超えた夫婦です。3月にマウイ島へ行き、いままでハワイでやったことのない遊びに思い切って挑戦しました。 写真のようにかなりしっかりしたハーネス・ヘルメットなどを付けて、滑車とワイヤーロープに命を託してガーッと一気に300mから800mくらいを滑空します。始めは写真のように草原の上で２、３回、その後の谷越えはスリルがありました。
あっというまでしたが、とても楽しかったです。次回は孫を連れて行きます。
私たちは、あなたがあなたの経験を楽しんで喜んでいます！私たちとzipliningしていただきありがとうございます！

英語オンリーですが日本語で書かれたパンフレットもあり、特に困った事はありませんでした。
波は穏やかでしたが酔い止めを飲んでても酔うくらいの揺れはありました。
でも、檻に入ったらたくさんのサメがいて酔いも忘れるほど楽しかったです。
7歳の息子はサメが大好きなので大興奮してました。
息子が帰りにサメの絵を描いて船長さんに渡したらとても喜んでくれました。
後で現地の方に聞いたら、オーストラリアの参加者のかたが多くオーストラリアにもサメツアーはあるのですがものすごく高いので皆さんこちらでやられるそうです。
DVDが75ドルで買いましたがとても良い思い出になりました。
また行きたいけど、船酔いが恐いかな…

North Shore Hiking Tours from Haleiwa with Expert Local Guide & Lunch
Eco tours hike was informative and very nice
Reviewed by: Dan and Denise, 2015/04/27Me and and my girlfriend both liked the young guides who picked us up at the North Shore Marketplace parking lot. It was just us two so we felt very privilidged. The Hawaiian guide drove for about 20 min through many farms and got to know much abut them and who owned them, unfortunately much of the land were rented by Monsantos. Part of the drive was very bumpy but became much better when we got unto the military roads. The hike was not that hard mostly because the water wasn´t that high this time. It was partly slippery but our sneekers was enough to manage it. There were some very niice sceneries and crossig over the river and the mountain pool swim at the summit was very pleasent and just what we needed after a 2.5 hours hike. We got to use helmets but just for a very short time. The lunch was two wraps each and was more than enough for us.
The hawaiian native guide told us much about the the hawaiian culture and the problems hawaiians have had keeping their language alive. We also got to know about much about the different plants and trees, and the tight bond to nature hawaiina have had, he also made a hawaiian chant to the forrest when we just started the hike which was very nice to hear. We would recommend this hike to all our friends.

4歳の娘たちとこの牧場に遊びに来ました。事前に予約をしているので、特に複雑な手続きなし、英語もほぼ不要でした笑
親切な女性のスタッフで子どもたちも満足してもどってきました^^でもワイキキから往復2時間を考えるとホースライド30分だとちょっと短いかな…。
牧場には、くじゃくが走り回り、広くて素敵な場所でした！

Reviewed by: マウイボーイ, 2015/04/22砂浜での乗馬は写真撮影の時だけ、海岸脇の平らな歩道をゆっくり散歩するだけでした。景色と海風は気持ち良かったです。馬は大人しいのでほとんど操作することがなく、だだ乗っているだけでした。スタッフは親切でしたし美人さんで素敵だったんですけど、正直・・・乗馬自体は、あまり面白くなかったので乗馬終了後のチップにすごく困りました。初心者向けだと思います。

North Shore's Best Zipline Tour by CLIMB Works - Oahu’s Longest Zip Course
Keana Farms! Must Do!
Reviewed by: BeachBoy, 2015/04/08From the start til the end, it was a non-stop adventure. 3 guides were with us, and we all had a blast! The ATV ride around the farm to get to the platform was fun and educational. They showed us different tropical plants like guava, mango, papaya, banana and so much more. The zipline and the view was just spectacular. I could do it again and again. They even had a rope climbing machine, and my arm is still sore from it! Overall, this was excellent and worth every penny. If you go to the North Shore, you need to put it in your bucket list. Highly recommended!

Hawaii Shark Encounters - North Shore Shark Cage Diving Tour from Haleiwa
Awesome experience

We had 10 total on the boat. The captain and mate were both knowledgeable and professional but definitely made it fun. Took a few extra minutes to show us the whales also. Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours
Don't call this riding on the beach

I have always wanted to ride a horse on, on, a beach, not near one, not within view of, on a beach. Splashing in the water. This ride was not on a beach and should not be advertised as such.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your tour guides and our apologies you were so disappointed about not being able to go in the water with your horse. It is illegal in the state of Hawaii to take livestock of any kind in the ocean so we go as close as we legally can to the water. I can assure you that we do take the horses on the sand /beach so you were not mislead.

Circle Island Sightseeing & Polynesian Cultural Center Full-Day Tour
Circle Island Tour, Polynesain Cultural Center, dinner & show on Motorcoach/Amb Alii Luau with Guide

The guides were prompt and the guide at the Centre, was especially polite. (Congrats to them, too, for indicating they do not except tips.) We visited three villages but I've done these without a guide and on my own, saw all six villages in the time he took us to three. I know time is spent gathering people and passing out leis and explaining procedures, but this did detract from what we could experience. I would suggest that at the Center, folks are given the option to go with the guide or go on their own. The luau and HA - Breath of Life show are phenomenal!! We had half a house for the audience and I was so impressed with the quality of singing and dancing, of the performers, that I started the standing ovation. Those students really deserve our appreciation!!

North Shore Private Sunset Horseback Riding & Campfire Dinner at Gunstock Ranch
Beautiful sunset horseback ride and a wonderful campfire dinner!

As we trailed he would give us some history on the names of the cities surrounding the ranch, the different boarding houses for the various horses on the land and we saw roaming cattle and goats. A few roosters and chicken also. The girls really enjoyed themselves on the trail being surrounded by nature here. As we rode uphill and finally reached our camp, you smelled the campfire and saw a breath taking view of the ocean. The sight is amazing! The meal was strip steak, tempura shrimp, rice and mac salad. It was so delicious! And you roasted your own marshmallows for s'mores! As we rode down toward the valley, again you could see the elevation and beautiful land surrounding this huge ranch. This was our second sunset ride@ Gunstock and we will be returning again.

Go for PCC, not the Island Tour

空の青色、白い雲、牧草のみどり色、森の深緑色、海の水色、眩しい太陽の日差し、鮮やかな景色が目に焼きつくだけでなく、抜群の解放感で精神的にリフレッシュでき、ホント良かったです。
言葉は英語のみですが、あまり英語が得意でない日本人の私達にフレンドリー且つ、ゆっくり優しく話してくれ、スタッフの方はアットホームで親切でした。
ほんわかオーラに包まれ、非常に楽しくリラックスした時間を過ごせますので、ぜひお勧めです。＾＾

Educational, Cultural, & Beautiful!!!
Reviewed by: ----------RHO----, 2015/03/26I have hiked many of the popular attractions here on Oahu like Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, and Koko Head, but they have nothing as elegant as what the Huakai Iki hike has. We booked our tour, and was informed that the check in location is at the Aloha General Store. We were greeted by our wonderful guides Keola and Holly. We started venturing off on the private roads owned by Kamehameha Schools, Bishop Estate. We had excellent views of the agricultural land, the coastline of Haleiwa, the mountain ranges of both the Ko'olaus and Waianae! We had learned so much Hawaiian historical facts, such as endemic versus native species of plants and animals, special trees and plants such as the Koa tree, ohia lehua, and the strawberry guava tree. Keola and Holly are excellent guides! The one thing that I highly valued is that you can ask them anything! They will tell you if they know about it, and if they don't they will either call you or email me and give you the answer! Many other tour guides on other hikes, tend to come up with excuses, or falsified facts. But not Keola or Holly. We had great views of the swimming pools (water ponds), nice high clouds, and wonderful native plants. This is the best hiking tour that I have been on by far. I will definitely go out with north Shore Eco Tours again, for their Huakai Nui Hike! Mahalo Keola & Holly!

This is the Way to See the North Shore!

Our guides Keola and Holly were knowledgeable in Hawaiian history and culture. They have exclusive access to this trail and I highly recommend going on this tour as you will not get the chance to see the North Shore like this with anyone else. It was a real treat for me. I appreciated that Keola asked for permission to enter the hiking trail in a traditional way.The hike itself was wonderful. We saw a lovely lehua blossom on the trail! The area is home to a number of rare native trees that I will leave to you to figure the name of. This hike is not for people who are out of shape. You will get a workout on the hike! If you appreciate learning about Hawaiian culture with legitimate information shared, the natural beauty of the North Shore, and to spend a day of your vacation in nature, this hike is for you. Way better than a luau!

Circle Island Sightseeing & Polynesian Cultural Center Full-Day Tour

Reviewed by: Chuck, 2015/03/05Enjoyed the bus tour, but it gets you there 2 hours after it opens.
The center itself focuses too much on entertainment and not enough on education. It is run by the Morman education system, so one would think if we are supporting the students we in turn would be educated about the various Polynesian cultures around the pacific.

ノースショア・シャーク・アドベンチャー 迫力満点！至近距離で野生のサメを見学 送迎付きプランあり
午後は波が荒れて…
Reviewed by: のんた, 2015/01/27日程の関係で無理を承知で午後１時からのツアーでした。
日本人は他に一人もいなく、陽気なアメリカンばかりで異国情緒を味わいました。
ツアーはワイキキからの送迎付きをお願いし、やや集合時間にﾋﾟｯｸｱｯﾌﾟの車は遅れてきましたが、電話をすると日本人のスタッフが丁寧な応対で安心しました。
ノースショアに着いてから30分程時間があり、シュリンプワゴン等で食事が出来るほどでした。実際食べてきていいよ!!と言われましたが…船が揺れると聞いていたので酔い止めをのんだだけでした。
クルージングは最高に気持ち良く酔い止めを飲むほどではないかもと途中思いましたが、ケージに入ってからが揺れて揺れてつかまっていても脚などケージに打ち付けてしまいアザだらけになるほどで少し気持ちも悪くなりそうでした。
サメを夢中になって探しているとケージに激突してしまうので大変でした。
タイガーシャークがいて今日はサメが逃げてしまいあまりいないとのこと、二匹しか見えませんでしたがまあいてくれて良かったです。
戻って来たときにはスタッフに紹介されたパブリックのトイレはしまっているし、スタッフは自転車や車で先に帰ってしまうし、送迎車は来ないし不安になりました。
皆さんがクチコミで言うように、海から出た後は本当に寒く、私はユニクロの薄いダウンを羽織ってもやや寒いくらいでした。
冬場は運が良いとクジラも見えるそうです。
リピーターの方１度は行ってみてください。
酔い止めと寒さ対策、そしてなるべく早い時間をおすすめします。

Reviewed by: トレリカ, 2015/01/13冬のノースショア…。さぞ波が高いことだろう。と思っていたら、穏やかな朝…。
幸い我が家族は、誰も船酔いすることなく、無事に体験出来ました。
サメくんたちは、お腹は充分満たされていたのか、ケージにアタックは
数回しかなかったけれど、小学５年生の男の子には、刺激が強すぎるので
丁度良いあんばいでした。
