Highly recommend the company and the helpful staff! We ordered the video from our ride and received within the week as stated...we were quite surprised they were so accurate in sending it to us...THANKS!!

AZ Memorial and City Tour
Reviewed by: M & B, 2008/06/30Just beware that the tour may last longer than the promised 12:30 return time. I was very worried when our tour guide told us that the previous day they hadn't even entered the AZ Memorial until 11:00 and that we may not get back until after 2pm. It turned out that it all worked out and, fortunately, we got in an early tour. The tour was nice and we really enjoyed the City Tour, which we weren't really expecting!

Well worth it...
Reviewed by: Janice B., 2008/06/24My family and I enjoyed the tour very much. Our tour guide, Cousin James, was great. After the Pearl Harbour tour, we went around the city, but like one of the comments said we only had 15 mins to roam around. If you have a car you can go back to those places anyway, or just get off at one of the stops and not continue with the tour, then take "The Bus" back to your hotel. I would recommend this tour to everyone especially first timers.

It was a memorable experience!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/06/03My husband and I went to Oahu for the first time. We booked several tours through Robert Hawaii. The service staffs were excellence. Everyone is very funny, friendly, and helpful to us. We enjoyed our time at the Sunset Cruise, I recommended for all couples out there to try it out. We also get to do several luaus during our stays: Sea Life Park Luau and Polynesian Cultural Center Luau. They both were excellence. Food were delicious, and the show is fantastic! Although we like PPC a lot, our guide for that particular tour was not helpful and not knowledgeable. It was not as much fun as we would like it to be. I rather spend time on my own and explore the place. You definitely need a whole day to see all the cultures in this center. Regardless, we have lots of fun and enjoyed our time there. Definitely we will come for another trip and look to use Robert Hawaii service again. Thanks for your service.

Bird's Eye View
Reviewed by: Birdie, 2008/05/26Very educational and at the same time interesting. Every American needs to experience this at least once. Gives you a different perspective than most other tours. There was a Scenic drive around the city, too, but the driver didn't stop for us to get out and explore the sights along the way: Iolani Palace, State Capitol, etc. I wanted to go in and see the inside or at least walk around the outside, but it was just a disappointing point and drive show that lasted 3 minutes. You are better off saving your money on this tour and renting a car to go see these places.

Good Flight

In one hour you have seen the entire island from a bird's eye view.
Way better than any island tour from the ground in uncomfortable tourbusses.
The heli is great, peacefull and very safy & smooth. Also because of a great pilot / tour guide. He knows the island well, just as much how he knows his aircraft.
As a to-become heli-pilot myself, it's been great seeing one pilot entertaining 6 people while keeping the heli as smooth & steady as possible and forfilling a safe flight in constant contact with the tower all by himself.
Cheers for that,mate!
And to the entire team of Makani Kai Heli Tours for having had a wonderfull morning!

Reviewed by: Cruzin, 2008/04/26I just want to say this was one of the most enjoyable, educational tours we've taken. 'Mr. Bill' our guide was very informative and had a sense of humor. I would recommend the full Explorer tour to everyone, you learn so much. As my father was on the USS Colorado for twenty years and I always wanted to know what life was really like during the war on one of these beautiful ships. It is really hard to imagine what our boys went through during WWII and have great admiration for all those that served.

Great All Around!!!
Reviewed by: M & Mrs. M, 2008/04/19Great Ride from the beginning to the end. We were picked up on time briefed about what to do and expect. Staff was very friendly. Our guide on the helicopter was very informative. Yes, your seated by weight and ofcourse you've definitely scored if you're in the front but, you have just as great a view in the back. You'll get more than enough great pictures. How can you really complain, your seeing Oahu from the sky and taking in more than expected.We even got to see a waterfall!!! Our ride back to our hotel was just as great with everyone chatting up a storm and our driver interacting with us as well and even giving us tips on where to go and what to see and do.

long day..but well worth it!
Reviewed by: amazing tour, 2008/03/29This tour was the highlight of my entire trip. Despite the early start time I was very impressed with all of the activities and sights we were able to see. From waterfalls to rainforests to incredible lava rock fields this tour offered everything imaginable on the Big Island of Hawaii. The tour guide could have given us some down time from the non-stop chatting but he gave a lot of very informative information and was highly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

We were a little confused as to the inclusion or not of the general audio tour as well, as there was alot of things not covered on the explorers tour. Also were not aware of the proximity of the bowfin, museums... and did not have enough time to do all we would have liked at Pearl Harbour. Also, transportation would've been nice as the bus made us late for our tour even though we allowed 1 and 1/2 hours.

It Was Excellent!
