Reviewed by: Len Langevin, 2008/01/16This was by far the best adventure I've ever been on and I'd do it again in a heartbeat, which is very different from most touristy things I've done in Hawaii where once is enough.
The crew was great, the sharks were plentiful and the gear provided was excellent. Don't forget to bring your camera because you will want to capture every moment out there. If you don't have an underwater camera, you can buy one from the crew.

All I can say is "oh man!"
Reviewed by: John Simonsen SLC UT, 2008/01/09This one of the biggest thrills I have ever experienced, and there has been alot, we have traveled all over the world and this is most definately in the top 5 for us. To have a shark 8-12 feet long inches from your face, let alone 15-20 of them within 20 feet of you is extreme, then add in some good sized swells to add to the excitement, I wouldn't miss it again, ever, a must for anyone who needs a thrill.

Great experienc w/ experienced crew

If you've seen the shark specials on the discovery channel this will be very similar except for the fact that YOU are up close and personal with the sharks. Bring waterproof camera for great shots. I didn't have one but I brought my live action camera and filmed some great footage from on the boat.

THE BEST!!
Reviewed by: Rob, 2008/01/03This experience was the best thing I have ever done in my short time on this earth! Even though I was seasick I still had the time of my life. The captain made sure everything was as safe and controlled. These sharks were not aquarium sharks! These beautiful creatures were enormus, full of spledor and power. I was amazed to see in real life. If or when I return to the island I will do this adventure again. Don't miss the opportunity to get in the cage you only live once, Seize the Day!

Fantastic Experience!!

Being in the cage is extremely rough, and you have to hold on to avoid getting thrown around by the huge waves, but this is a small problem! There must have been at least 15-20 sharks (Galapagos and sandbar sharks) swimming all around, and rubbing on the cage! I would recommend this activity to anyone who can handle a rough ocean. It was one of the best things we did in Hawaii!! Take anti-nausea pills, as the waves are huge, and the boat rocks hard (even for those who don't think they get seasick).

船はかなり揺れましたが私たちの時は誰も船酔いしませんでした。スタッフの方は英語しか話せませんが陽気で特に不便な事もなかったです。
いざ始まってみると怖いというより滅多にできる体験ではないので本当に楽しく感動でした。
出来ればもっと沢山潜っていたかったです。
私たちが行ったのは９月末でしたが上がった後はすごく寒かったです。あと水中カメラは持っていってよかったです！

Reviewed by: tuyosi, 2007/10/03ハワイには何度も行っていますが今回は今までにしたことのないツアーに参加したくてこのツアーを見つけました。
最初はガイドが英語のみだしサメということで妻と二人で不安でしたが実際に参加してみるとガイドの方は親切でわかりやすい日本語まじりの英語で楽しませてくれました。
海に潜ると今までに見たこともない真っ青な海に数え切れない程のサメに圧倒されましたが終わるころには妻と二人でもっと潜っていたいねと言うほどのめり込んでしまいました。
ハワイに慣れて刺激を求める方にお勧めです。

ツアー参加者は私たち夫婦以外は、アメリカ人、オーストラリア人の白人が4人でした。
船上でスタッフの方が海中に檻を沈めてから中に入るまでの注意をしてくれます。
英語で足りましたが、日本人用には日本語の説明パネルがあります。
専用のボートで沖に行くと、出るわ出るわサメさんたちが。
そして海中に沈めた檻に入ってサメをみます。
いや~迫力でしたよ。
エサをどんどん投げ入れるので、サメは次々に来ます。
楽しかった~。
でもね、沖合い（？）なので割と波があるんです。その波に半分浮かんだ折の中でサメを見るので、結構酔います。
酔いは船にあがってからの方がきます。
夫とアメリカ人の女性は船上で戻してしまいました。
私はツラかったけど、我慢した。
吐く人はしょっちゅういるみたいで、スタッフさんは「気分悪い？、船の外に吐いて吐いて」みたいな感じであっさりでした。お水もたくさん用意されていて飲ませてくれました。
そんなハプニングもありながら、とても楽しい体験だと思います。オススメです。

Take A Camera!!

Bring your underwater camera for some pictures of a lifetime,,,, so you think!
You will be back to enjoy this again.
Visibility was well over 50 feet and the water was a crystal clear deep blue.
When you are in the cage you are totally protected and safe, yet as the sharks come so close you feel as if you are out there with them.
The only bad thing for me were the pretty high waves, which made it difficult to hold the camera still. (As seen from the pictures)
This experience is on the 'To Do on the next trip' list.

My husband didn't want to go but ended up not wanting to get out of the cage because he was having such a blast! Definately something to do again.

息子14歳、父65歳、私39歳の3人の参加。
主人、娘、母は怖がり、ノースショアを探索しておりました。
酔い止めを飲んで舟に乗った私でしたが、かなりの揺れに、
海に潜る前から、少々気分は悪かったです。ノースショアは、冬場はもっと波が出るでしょうから、冬に参加される方は覚悟がいります。
・・・が、外国人の方々が2組入ったあと、私達の番で、いざ潜ってシュノーケルで海の中を見ると、綺麗なサメが沢山、私達の檻の周りを泳いでいて、一気にテンションが上がりました！！
神秘的で、本当に美しかったです。
スタッフの方も、日本語はほんの少ししか通じませんが、日本語で書いてあるマニュアルもありますし、大丈夫です。
息子は、またやりたい！！と言っています

FUN!!!!! FUN !!!! FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reviewed by: The Bradys, 2007/08/17This was are favorite activity. You are taken out 3 miles from the shore in 400+ ft of water and put in a cage while chum is thrown from the boat. Then its a shark fest. We seen about 20+ Galapagos sharks. Bring a waterproof camera to capture the excitement. It was really difficult for us to get pictures because the water was so choppy, but out of 27 pictures we got 20 great pictures.

WOW!
Reviewed by: Sandi, 2007/08/03I cannot stress enough how fun and exciting this activity was! I went on the early morning boat out to see sharks on a rainy, gray morning and was THRILLED to see sharks from the boat before ever getting in the water. BIG ones. SCARY ones. But I got in the cage anyway and was then floated out behind the boat with other shark fans. The sharks swam all around the cage the entire time - so close I could reach out and touch them if I dared. I took all my underwater pictures with my disposable camera in about 3 minutes! This was just an incredible experience, which I would love to do again. It was nice to be underwater with them (snorkeling) where you could watch them so closely, although you don't have to get in the cage if you don't want to - you can see them from the boat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
