Snorkeling & Turtle Cruise
Reviewed by: Emma, 2024/11/04Most of the time it was snorkeling in the water where you can see most of the tiny fishes swimming around. I saw a turtle far away when I came on the boat but still was hard to see (even in the camera). Just saw a turtle do a back flip from a 500 meter distance from our boat. To see it very close or in the water while snorkeling, I think it is mostly luck but had a good time with other people on the boat with drinks and snacks too!

ウミガメに会えました！
Reviewed by: うさ, 2024/10/29半日かけたツアーに参加しないとウミガメには会えないかなと思っていたのですが、ワイキキ界隈で2、3時間程度で催行してくれるツアーでとても良かったです。
インストラクターの方が、ウミガメいる場所を随時教えてくれながらのシュノーケリングだった為、ついていけば会える！が叶えられました。何匹ものウミガメと、一緒に泳げたのがとても嬉しかったです。またハワイに行ったらお願いしようと思います。

Reviewed by: Sher, 2024/10/16It's hard to say whether Waikiki sail is a great experience or not. They called us the night before around 8:00 p.m. letting us know that they quite doing the afternoon tours and asked if we could come earlier. Unfortunately we had a hard to get breakfast reservation and with less than 24 hours notice, we could't change it even if we wanted to. With that said, Waikiki sail was great at finding a different company that could take us which was awesome. Despite my frustration, I had to at least give them an okay rating for that. We sailed with Moana adventures and had a great time so if Waikiki sails experience is similar and they don't tell you the night before that a change has been made, they are probably great.

Crew was great, boat is small, but overall fun experience!
Reviewed by: vetenigma@yahoo.com, 2024/10/02We did 2 turtle snorkel's while in Hawaii, this one was not really the crews fault that it was not my favorite as the seas were pretty rough that day.
This would be a much better experience if there wasn't as many people on board.
Surprisingly, there were a lot of tourists with little to no experience with swimming or the ocean. Please if you are not experienced with swimming stay on the boat.
We were able to see a couple of tours and because of the non-experienced children on board, the fish were well "fed".
Bumpy ride and fun wave time on the trampoline! My sister and I loved that part of it!
Overall, pretty good experience, never enough time in the water!
Be prepared, especially on a smaller boat.

目の前にホヌさん（ウミガメ）と魚たちが！

本当に会えたらいいなーぐらいに思って参加したのですが、何匹も、しかも目の前でホヌさん（ウミガメ）に会えて、大感動でした！
シュノーケリング後のクルージングでは、ちょっと家族が船酔いしちゃって心配でしたが、ワイキキのホテル群やダイヤモンドヘッドを見ながら、風を切って航行するのは本当に気持ちよかったです。
あと、キャプテンとクルー、インストラクターがめっちゃかっこよかったです。

7歳の子供にはワイキキの高い波と、
飛行機の救命胴衣のような簡易ライフジャケットはシュノーケルには難しかったようです。
シュノーケルでウミガメも見れましたし、
ヨットの帆を張って沖まで行ったりして楽しかったです。
泳力とシュノーケル慣れのある子供なら大丈夫かも。

Drinks are not offered until after you get out of the water. Kinda lame. But safety first, I get it. Ticket says 3 beverages. By the time you're out of the water and get a drink from the bar, you have about 15 minutes out on the water before getting back to the beach. I ordered two drinks and didn't have time to finish my second beverage. And you can't take them off the boat with you.
I saw two turtles. Water is not very clear and you are crowded by so many other tours. You are required to wear a life jacket the whole time, so you can't even dive down to take a closer look at the turtles. They're about 30 feet below you. One did surface, so that was cool.
Staff were super unenthusiastic. Yes, you're working. You live here. We're tourist, whatever. But at least smile. It's like none of them have ever traveled before. This is a bucket list adventure for some people. Maybe show some passion. The male guide couldn't project his voice whatsoever and had zero excitement in his voice when going over safety measures. The female guard also struggled with public speaking and wrapped it up with "I tried my best to make sure you all saw a turtle, if you didn't, that's your fault."
The only person on the boat who deserved part of the tip I left was the good looking thor dude. He was at least friendly. Mahalo to you.
Also. They advertise two hammock like seating areas. A couple scored the first one. The other one was occupied with thier equipment. I kindly asked if they could move it over 4 feet so I could sit there and the girl said no. I arrived early just to claim that spot. I was not the only person to ask, either. Maybe don't put the equipment in the most desirable area to sit?
Would not book again.

ウミガメにも会えた充実したシュノーケリング
Reviewed by: かず, 2024/09/13大概、ウミガメに会えるというシュノーケリングで、そうそう会えることもないのではと思う。
ここでは、餌付け？をしているのか、普通に泳いでいるウミガメは２匹だったが、海底にはそれ以上の５匹のウミガメがおり、楽しく過ごすことが出来た。
確実に会える！というフレーズは、確かだと思う。
浮きを必ず着用しなければならず、海中に潜水することは出来ないが、楽しく過ごすことが出来た。
日本語が全く使えないので、英語が話せない人は少し厳しいかも！

海亀が間近に見られました
Reviewed by: はち, 2024/09/02同じようなツアーの中でも安かったので参加しました。ワイキキのホテル群の沖合でのシュノーケリングでした。海亀は間近で見られたものを含めて5匹もいました。サンゴ礁では無いのでお魚は少なめです。音楽を聞きながらのカタマランでのクルーズは最高でした。外国人ばかりで英語はわからなかったけど全然OKでした。アルコールは1杯タダでした。現地までの移動が不安だったのでJCBプラザで往復のタクシーを予約してシェラトンカイウラニからチップ込み定額片道22ドルでした。集合場所のpierDの場所は予約時にツアーから届く埠頭の地図で確認しておくと良いです。

ウミガメとの遭遇

英語ツアーなので日本人は自分1人でしたが、難しい解説はなく、身振り手振りである程度理解できます。お水も言わずとも持ってきてくれたり、1人なので気を遣ってくださいました。いろんな国からの家族連れが多かったので、家族で参加するならあまり気負わずに参加出来ると思います。
【ウミガメ】
周りにもたくさんのツアーの船が多く、自分のツアーのインストラクターさんを見失わないようにする必要はあります。疲れて途中で上がるのは可能でした。
ウミガメがいるスポットに大勢押しかけて見る感じでしたが、人がいる所がウミガメのいる所と分かるので、確認はしやすいです。
ウミガメは自由に浮いたり沈んだりして、それを眺めたりできました。ただし、触るのは禁止なのでインストラクターさんが繰り返し伝えてくれるので、それさえ守れば快適なツアーです。

海亀が間近で見れました！コスパ最強♪

予約連絡メールもすべて英語ですが、Google翻訳でしっかり集合場所も分かるので、ワイキキのホテルからザバスで最寄りまで行き、港を5分ほど歩いて到着しました。（ちなみに、ザバスの時刻表やバス停の場所はGoogleの経路検索が一番正確だと現地の日本人に教えていただき、その通りですごく便利でした。）
モアナという名前の船で、船の前にツアーの看板も出てるのでわかりやすいです。
ただ、他の方も書いているように集合時間から20分ほど待たされたので少々不安にはなりました。（そもそも参加者もほとんど15分以上遅れてきました。時間守るのは日本人ぐらいなんでしょうか？笑）
ツアーが始まってからも英語のみの説明ですが、船の後ろには行かないこと、亀が近づいてきても一定の距離を取ること、スタッフが「モアナー」と呼び込みかけたら船に上がること、ぐらいしか理解できなかったですが何ら問題なかったです。
実際に亀を間近でたくさん見れました！
他のツアーの船も5，6隻同じ同じ場所でそれぞれ数十人が海に入るので人にぶつからないように泳ぐのが少し大変ですが、何匹も亀がいるのでしっかり見ることができました。海面に息継ぎに上がってくるのが可愛かったです。
他にも数種類のお魚も見ることができました。
ただ、よくシュノーケルでイメージする色とりどりの小魚が珊瑚に群がるような感じではないので、あくまで亀主体のツアーという理解で行かれた方が良いです。
日本語スタッフがいる類似ツアーは120ドルするようですが、もしも内容にあまり差がないようならとてもお得だと思いました。

11/10 experience! Highly recommend!

The entire crew was so kind and helpful the entire time, and I even got a recommendation on where to go for dinner after talking with our captain, JJ, and it was delicious!
11/10 experience, I will definitely be returning to the Ke Kai next time I’m on the island!

Amazing staff!
Reviewed by: Jasmine C, 2024/07/27Took our family out for a morning excursion, was a little disappointed that we didn’t go much further into the ocean or to a smoother cove. But we did see turtles & other fish around the coral! We can’t wait to get our disposable camera developed to capture our adventures! The Ke Kai provided all the equipment and safety briefings for snorkeling, all equipment was cleaned & sanitized before & after use.
Unfortunately, even through Dramamine & ginger ale 3 out of 4 of our family members got sick on the return ride to shore. The staff was sooo sweet and checked on us frequently! They took great care of us and recommended techniques to curb our seasickness that we didn’t expect to hit us so hard. I guess for us, it’s a good thing the boat ride was shorter off the coast than what we expected, lol
Overall excellent experience that got us off the beach and in the water! Would highly recommend this catamaran and crew!

ワイキキでシュノーケル！

船まで戻るのが大変でしたが、こちらはフィンがあったので、とても楽しく魚やウミガメを近くでみることができました。
さらにラッキーなことにイルカにも遭遇しました！
何よりワイキキのホテルから乗船できるので時間が有効につかえますよ。
ただ、日本語ガイドさんはいないので英語がわかる人と行けるといいですね。娘と一緒だったので助かりましたが。
ガイドさんがいなくても、同じ内容の説明プラカードがあればいいのに、と思います。
