Reviewed by: sarahbrien, 2015/01/17it was a great day, the boat was really nice, we sat up the front with our legs dangling off the boat. we had two snorkel spots, both great, the water was a little murky but still saw a lot of pretty fish and some turtles. good equipment, nice friendly staff. the lunch was good. I have also been snorkelling at Waikiki but this was far superior. good eqipment, great day, highly recommend.

幸い我が家族は、誰も船酔いすることなく、無事に体験出来ました。
サメくんたちは、お腹は充分満たされていたのか、ケージにアタックは
数回しかなかったけれど、小学５年生の男の子には、刺激が強すぎるので
丁度良いあんばいでした。

Reviewed by: HAWAII, 2015/01/10迎えのバスもずいぶん遅れた。他国の方と同じなのは理解できるが英語ではなく、そちらの言語だけで日本語は話せないのでとのことで説明なし。潜水艦の中もその方たちのおしゃべりの声が大きくてあまり楽しめなかった。重ねて天候の状態が悪く、濁っていて魚もほとんどいなくて正直お金を返してほしい気分だった。残念。次回に期待。

なかなかできない体験です。

ホテルへのお迎えにはクチコミ通り、日本語不可のドライバーさん。
７時からのツアーでしたが５時半にきちんとお迎えに来てくれました。
船に乗っても、日本人は私たちだけでした。
説明もすべて英語。特に日本語の案内も見る事なく
ツアーはスタート。
1番目のトライで7人で海のケージへ。
一緒入った家族がビデオを依頼したらしく、スタッフさんが海へ餌を
投入れていたので、それを食べるところが見られたりして
タイミングが良かったです。その後のグループでは
投入れていなかったので。
海から上がり、その後の2グループの体験を待つ間は
水着のままだととても寒かったので
着てきたスカートを利用して着替えましたが
プライベートスペースは船上はありませんので
着替えたい方は、何か考えた方が良いです。
暖かければ、水着でも良いのでしょうが、12月では
風が冷たく、水着ではいられませんでした。
酔い止め薬をすっかりと忘れて行ってしまったので
不安でしたが、私はなぜか全く平気でしたが
友人がケージの中で既に波に酔ってしまい大変そうでした。
20人位いた中で酔っていたのは2.3人でした。
欧米人はあまり酔わない体質なのでしょうか？笑
ツアー後は、ハレイワ観光がしたかったので
送りを断り、港で解散。
金額は値引きはありません。笑

何の連絡も無く 中止。金より時間を返せ！
Reviewed by: 中止の場合 連絡無いよ, 2014/12/27私は現地集合を選びました。 あさ9時からの分を選びましたので ８時３０分 現地集合でした。ですので、ワイキキのホテルを７時３０分に出ました。起きたのは
子供の用意もあり、６時４０分ごろです。これだけ早く起きてますから 連絡があれば ノース迄行かずに 別の事も出来ました。天候不良の為 出航出来ないのは もちろん理解出来ます。でも、連絡が無いのは
まったく理解出来ません。金より時間を返せ！って感じですね。金は予約時にすぐ決済するのにね。
この度は、ご予約頂きましたツアーにご参加できませんでしたこと、心よりお詫び申し上げます。
また、キャンセルのご連絡がお客様に届いておらず、大変申し訳ございませんでした。
今回の件につきましては再発防止に努めるべく、現地催行会社に厳重に注意させていただきました。

大満足の海中遊泳
Reviewed by: ひでなり２１, 2014/12/24今回は、家族６名で参加しました。天候もよく、波も穏やかでした。乗船までの待ち時間が多少長く感じられました。燦々と輝く太陽の下で待つので、女性の方は日傘等を準備されたほうがよろしいかと思います。アトランテイスでの海中遊泳は、いろいろな魚が見られ大満足でした。海がめも見る事ができ本当に良かったです。このツアーは絶対お勧めです。

搭乗するなら、日本語の時間帯が良いかも。魚の名前や歴史の話など英語よりも日本語がいいと思います。
ウミガメやエイ、沈没船の下にいる鮫など面白かったです。
水族館と違い、奥行きのある海の中が堪能できます。

船酔いがひどい・・・。

サメもたくさん泳いでいるのですが、迫力はあまりなく、ただひたすら水の中をもぐっているだけでした。
その後も船酔いに悩まされ、結局気持ち悪さだけが残った旅行になりました。
残念です。

少し残念でした
Reviewed by: kkk, 2014/11/23母が水着を着たくないと言っていたので、水着を着なくていいこのツアーに申し込みました。
潜っている間中、ずっと綺麗な魚が見られると思っていたので、ポイントごとにしか見られなくて残念でした。色も地味でした。家族は喜んでいましたが、私は残念に思いました。
評価は家族の満足と私の不満を平均して普通にしました。
私の体験談で参加したいと思われる方はいらっしゃらないかもしれませんが、英語がわからない方、小さいお子様がいるご家族の方は日本語ガイドの会の乗船をお勧めいたします。

Hi Rolando, we do try our best, but yes sometimes the dolphins are around the corner or just unable to be located. We see them about 90% of the time, but some days are trickier than others. Nice afternoon out on the catamaran
Reviewed by: Mary Butler, 2014/10/28We took the afternoon dolphin watch cruise that set sail at 1pm. Saw some sea turtles and a dolphin pod from afar. The snorkelling was nothing great...lots of reef fishes and mostly dead coral. Being prone to motion sickness, I was elated at how wonderfully stable the catamaran was, and for once I actually enjoyed sailing instead of spending half my time being sick over the rails. In spite of my disappointment at not seeing dolphins up close, the afternoon turned out to be a really pleasant cruise along the beautiful Ko Olina coastline. The staff were attentive and friendly. My 3 year son threw a fit when I got him out of the choppy waters during the snorkelling session. Kudos to the staff who successfully quietened him down by giving him bread to feed the fishes from the back of the ship. Food was great. Pulled pork sandwiches, chips and fruit salad were delicious. All in all, a lovely afternoon.
Thanks Mary for the great review, and coming out with us! I'm glad you were able to enjoy our tropical waters and the hard coral that we have in Hawaii. Our waters are cooler than what you would experience in the Caribbean, so we don't feature the fanning type of coral- mostly the brain, and other types of more rock looking features. Did you know that 30% of our fish can only be found in Hawaii? Anyway, just thought we would share some fun facts. We love our jobs and glad we were able to share a great day with you. I really appreciate it!
The only one bad thing for me was that I didn't remember/they didn't know how much it cost. I reserved this tour through the internet in advance like 10 days ago and payed with my credit card. Since my friends(there were 5 of us) tried to pay me by cash at the day of the tour but the voucher didn't mention about the price, I asked at the front how much they charged on my credit card. And the lady checked my name on the list and PC and said it's $485. I thought it's a little more inexpensive than I thought, so I asked her to double check and she said it's correct. So we just split the bill. But I found that they charged $695, which was the correct amount, after I left hawaii and got back home...Unfortunately all other friends are form other countries, so I gave up getting the difference in the bill from them. :(
I think the total amount should be on the voucher or at least they should have gave me correct info!

Awesome experience

We were able to snorkel out and see tons of beautiful fish, two huge turtles and lots of dolphins. Our captain mark was so determined to get all of us to see dolphins in the water, and he was succesful. We had dolphins swimming right under and around us. I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun filled day! Also lunch was served once we got back and i got the pulled pork sandwich which was really tasty! I give this activity a two thumbs up!

クルーズは楽しかったけれど、、、、、、
Reviewed by: linolino, 2014/10/08こちらのツアーは、渡ハの度に欠かせないアクティビティです。イルカを見て一緒の海で泳ぐ、こんなに癒されることはありません。しかし、今回、7回目で初めて、イルカがいない。。。確かに、海はうねりが強く、イルカもカメも落ち着いて休める状況ではありませんでした。
クルージング中は、いつも以上にスタッフが盛り上げてくれましたが、やはり、残念に思いました。朝から、いつもとは全く異なる場所にイルカたちは向かったようで、その情報が入ってから追いかけることは時間的に難しいと、キャプテンから話がありました。自然の生き物ですから、仕方がないことは承知していますが、毎日、イルカの動向の情報をキャッチしてから、船を出すことは難しいのでしょうか？
今回、イルカを見るのが初めての友人も、とても残念がっていましたが、「また、ハワイにおいでよ」と、チャンスをくれたのかもね！と、納得しました。
次は待っててね、イルカさん。

North Shore Shark Adventures - Oahu Cage Diving Tour with Waikiki Transportation
Shark tour is good, transport not so much
Reviewed by: Annemieke van Heezik, 2014/10/05Got caught in the "hang loose" spirit of Hawaii. The activity was booked for transporation at 9.45AM. The day before the activity a message was left at the hotelphone that transport fell through and I had to confirm (before 6PM) new transport time of 5.15AM! Of course I got back at my hotel after 12PM and wasn't able to confirm early pick-up. So I decided to go to the meeting point anyway, but no transport. Office opened at 6AM when I could finally phone in. Service level was low, merely a "No transport, sorry, reschedule please" Since that was not an option for me we had to come up with a solution. After a lot of back and forth (cab will cost you 200 one way!!)I decided to go on a citybus for 2.5 hrs which cost me 2.50 dollars and I made it with an hour to spare. Veltra was very service friendly. They contacted me and booked transport money back right away, without me even asking for it. So lesson learned: No pick-up service for shark tour!
I never even got a sorry from the Shark tour operator and the captain didn't know my name I had become a plus one!
The harbour of the tour itself was a bit dingy at best. The public toilet was filthy with bloodstains and glass bottles, but the boat had no changing option, so you have to use it.
The boat is very nice and the boat ride is awesome (unless you have motion sickness, in that case you will get sick, trust me!)The shark cage is not big, but big enough for the six per group that went in. Pay for the DVD, taking pictures yourself is very hard. The life vest will keep you floating and the ocean slams you into the cagebarrier.
The sharks are amazing and worth every bit of inconvenience. The crew is friendly and knowledgeable. They care for your safety and for the ocean wild life. It's not scary at all. When you get back I recomment getting lunch at Halewa Joe's. Just sit there and review your tour. If you can visit North shore or Turtle beach on your way back. The total tour is highly recommendable (without transport)

An Adventure to Remember!
Reviewed by: Ian & Tasha, 2014/10/04My wife & I love Shark Week so this activity was a clear must do. There is so much to talk about for this activity, but I'll just break it down to pros & cons. Pros: the water is really warm and about 80ft of visibility, the crew was nice, the sharks ranged at a decent 10ft to 12ft, the sharks get extremely close to the cage where you can touch a fin (but they tell you don't so beware), and most importantly not even Jaws can get through that cage (super thick bars). Cons: it's a small boat so if your prone to motion sickness you NEED dramamime since your out there for about 2 hours, no food or snacks so bring some because after your 30min dive you will be hungry and its about 1-2 hrs before you get back to Waikiki, and this is a tip from the wife - the bathroom at the dock is a park restroom so no seat covers so byosc ;). Wish I had a photo to share off my phone since it was really cool but its all on the gopro.

ホテルから港に向かう時の迎えの車が窓のないオープンなバスで、排気ガスが苦手な私には道中がきつく、さらにすごく揺れたので酔いそうだった。
港から船で潜水艦に向かう際に、これから乗る潜水艦が浮上してくる様を見れて気分が盛り上がる。ガイドの説明が日本語で行われたので、分かりやすく魚探しに集中できた（他言語の方はイヤホン）。
座る席がどこかによって、見える景色も微妙に違うので得したり、悔しくなったり。
家族4人で申し込むと高い値段になるけど、参加して良かった。満足。

カメが可愛い

その後のシュノーケリングでカメも観れてとても可愛かったです。
フラダンスレッスンもあり、盛りだくさんのツアーでした。
残念なのは、カメラマンさんがついているのですが、写真はとってもらうだけで購入はできないみたいです。。。

North Shore Shark Adventures - Oahu Cage Diving Tour with Waikiki Transportation

Reviewed by: Geoff & Louise Davis, 2014/09/16We attended this trip in September 2014, & from the start the staff were fun, knowledgeable & helpful. The sea was a bit choppy as we had the 10-00 am trip, but with Gravol inside, no issues here.
The ocean was crystal clear. the cage was a bit buffeted, due to waves, but this did not spoil our enjoyment of seeing sharks at close quarters, in their environment.
We saw around 15 sharks, & thought this was brilliant. would highly recommend.
