Amazing Bucket List Item
Reviewed by: plomfs, 2015/09/14Wife and I loved this tour. She was nervous going into it but once we got out there and she saw the other two groups go in prior to ours it helped to calm her nerves. The crew was great and very knowledgeable about the area and what we were seeing.
We felt very safe the entire time and thought the water was so blue and clear. Visibility in the cage was about 100ft in either direction.
Only thing I would suggest is to make sure you take something for Motion sickness prior to going out like we did. There were several on the boat who got sick several times while we were stationary next to the cage and a few others that got sick while in the cage.
It was a bucket list item for us and we are so happy we did it. We also got their video package which was $75 for a SD card recording of our time in the cage.

たくさんのサメに感動！

私たち以外に1組だけ日本人がいましたが、その他は外国人ばかりでした。
乗り場に付いたら、乗り場付近の丘の上でトイレをすませてから船に乗ります。船の上にはトイレも着替える場所もありませんので、ここで着替えるしかありません。また、船に乗る前に靴を脱いで1つの箱に入れるので、汚れてもいいサンダルを履いていった方がいいです。
船上で説明を受けますが、すべて英語なので英語が聞き取れない人は何を言っているか全くわかりません。私たちの時は日本語の説明書もありませんでしたが、ケージに入る時には簡単な英語で注意してくれるし、シュノーケル着用時もチェックしてくれるので、英語がわからなくてもそれなりに安全に楽しめると思います。
5人ずつの３グループに分けられ、サメのいるスポットに到着するとグループごとに順番に呼ばれ、シュノーケルを付けてケージに入ります。
酔い止め薬を飲んで行きましたが、結局吐きました。吐くと少し楽になりますし、サメも寄ってきます(笑)。移動中よりケージを設置した後の船の方が揺れが激しいです。この時に船酔いしにくい夫も吐いていました。ぐったりして寝ている人や、クールな顔でさらっと吐いている人もいたので、船酔いする覚悟で行った方がいいと思います。あと空腹状態で行った方がいいです。
スタッフの人は船酔い時に心配してくれたり、吐いた後にティッシュをくれたりと、とても気さくで親切でした。
船の上からも少しサメが見えますが、ケージの中に入ると10匹くらいいて、とても興奮しました！たまに近づいてくると目や体の傷までよく見えます。ケージが揺れるので揺れに合わせて丸まって浮きながら見ていると楽です。ケージの下に張り付いて写真撮っている人もいました。
サメを見ることができて本当に感動したのですが、やはり吐き気が少しつらかったので星4つにしました。

Ko Olina Snorkeling Cruise & Dolphin Watching Tour with Picnic Lunch and Drinks

Reviewed by: Melanie, 2015/09/07This was an excellent day out for the two of us. Unfortunately I had difficulty snorkelling but was not pressured by the staff to keep trying. My boyfriend saw some amazing sights while snorkelling and snuba-ing, including a turtle (see photo). We received complimentary drinks (including alcohol) and lunch was either a chicken or pulled pork sandwich which was lovely. Cameron the snuba instructor was very nice and informative and tried his best to give us an enjoyable trip.

シャークツアーに参加しました！
Reviewed by: りょうパパ, 2015/08/31息子と二人で参加しました。ホノルル滞在先からveltraさんにネットで予約しました。前日の予約と言うことと時差の関係から、現地にも確認を入れ、念のために電話でも確認。電話で確認した時は、指定の11時に空きがありましたが、最終的に9時枠で確定でした。現地の人からは、その後予約が入り、一杯になってしまったとか？ピックアップは、サメの絵柄の車。ホテルから現場のハレイワまで、約一時間。そこからボートに乗り換え、20分にほどで到着。海は、透明度が高く、とても綺麗でした。実際に、あれだけ多くのサメを間近に見れたのは初めてで、とても貴重な体験が出来ました！また、船上では ジョーズの音楽も流れ、演出もなかなかでした。

Sharks and more sharks
Reviewed by: CTJ, 2015/08/23If you like sharks this is the trip for you. There was plenty of sharks to see. They were mostly 6-8 feet long. They surrounded the cage and even a barracuda came to see us. I felt completely safe in the cage and so did my kids. My daughter(13) was a little apprehensive before getting into the cage but once in there she was fine. The only bad thing was that the water was a little rough so the cage was getting tossed around some but it was all good.

How a grandmother entertains teen grandkids

We both had a really great time! Captain Dave and crew were great, helpful, knowledgable, and all had the best sense of humor! I had an issue with video, but Dave was great and quick to make it right. In the end, it wasn't his fault, it was mine! Thanks Dave and crew! It was amazing!

Amazing experience

In the first 10 minutes, we saw a pod of dolphins and were allowed to get in the water with them. After that we continually found some more. The snorkelling was amazing as well, saw a sea turtle in the first 5 minutes of getting in the ocean. The team was friendly, informative and enthusiastic. We had an awesome time.

送迎についての注意
Reviewed by: 裕のママ, 2015/08/06ヒルトンハワイヤンビレッジ、プリンスホテル、イリカイなどは、送迎は不要です。潜水艦へ向かうボードは、ヒルトンハワイヤンビレッジ付近のビーチの桟橋から出てくるのを知らずでした。
送迎は、15分遅れでした。
で、延々とダウンタウンをお客様を乗せて、45分かかって、滞在先（お迎えのバスの乗場から歩いて5分くらい）に戻ってきました。
そうです。
桟橋は直ぐ裏のビーチでした。
知らなかったとはいえ、眠い朝の貴重な時間がもったいなかったです。
朝一のツアーでしたので、お客様全員が日本人でしたし、朝早いので空いててラッキーでした。
到着したときに確認しましたが、後から参加の方は、欧米人が多く、かなりぎゅうぎゅうのように見受けられました。潜水艦ツアーは想像通り良かったです。日系人の日本語で、5歳の子どもには少し早口だったかも。ですが、日本語で助かりました。

謎の缶(？)に食いつくサメを船上から見学

船上からでもサメはよく見えます。船長さんがサメポイントでヒモのついた謎の缶(？)を海に投げ入れると、サメたちが缶におびき寄せられてワラワラと寄ってきます。この缶を投げ入れるのもやらせてもらえるので、妻も子供も何度もやらせてもらってました。
もう一個のレビューで書きましたが、ケージプランは揺れがかなりしんどいので、酔いやすい人はボートプランで船上から見学するのがいいと思います

I met the sharks!!!
Reviewed by: Mahalo , 2015/08/03The North Shore Shark Adventures was a very neat and wonderful experience. The boat ride out to the shark cage took about 15-20min. The crew members really stressed about safety first and were thorough about directions. They even had a sense of humor, which makes everything better. When we reached the shark cage the crew members separated all the costumers in to two different groups and we were escorted into the shark cage that was floating in the ocean. Being in the shark cage was kind of rough. The waves would rock/bob the cage from side to side and up and down. You really had to hang on to the cage bars to obtain stability. I personally wrapped my legs and arms around the shark cage ladder, which I found to be helpful. As soon as I stuck my head under water what I saw was absolutely amazing. 15-20 sharks swimming and circling the cage, each shark was at least 6-8 feet long. It was so peaceful and serene to see these sharks in their natural habitat swimming freely. Just a quick suggestion that if you plan on swimming with the sharks you may want to schedule this event early on in your trip because cancellations may occur due to the oceans unpredictability. For safety reasons they may cancel your shark adventures but they will call you in advanced to let you know. I suggested that if you are driving to the North Shore you call them to ask about cancellations before you make the trip up north.

波がすごかった

参加者は自分たちグループ以外は全員アメリカ人でした。
船に揺られること15〜20分でサメケージに到着。けっこう沖の方まで来てたと思います。
いよいよケージに入ってサメとご対面しますが、サメよりも波がすごくて、落ち着いて観察するのがむずかしかったです。
息子と娘は波にやられて早々にリタイアして船に戻り、自分ひとりでサメを見ました。
いちおうサメは間近で見られましたが、波のせいでケージに頭をぶつけたり、他の人ともぶつかったり、かなりしんどかったです。
帰りの船では自分も含め、他の参加者もあまり元気がなかったですｗ
もう少しケージを広くするか、一回の参加者を少なくするかすれば多少マシになるかもしれませんが、酔いやすい人は参加は慎重に検討したほうがいいと思います。

Reviewed by: ハワイ大好き家族, 2015/07/17潜水艦に乗ってハワイの海中散歩を期待して乗船しましたが、正直がっかりしました。海中が濁っていてよく見えず、家族全員途中で飽きてしまい、また日本語での解説も同じことの繰り返しで最後は眠気を催しました。隣の家族連れのお父さんは途中から眠ってしまいました。もう少し潜る場所を考えてツアーを企画してほしかったです。

Great adventure!
Reviewed by: John Moore, 2015/06/21We have a family of 7 and everyone was extremely excited to go. 3 of us had experienced the Snuba back in March. It was awesome that the crew remembered us. We were treated exceptionally well. The crew sat with those that were a bit apprehensive about the Snuba and created a relaxed atmosphere and worked with them and made it just as enjoyable for them. It was awesome! We have two 12 year olds and they did a wonderful job. We saw Dolphins, turtles and tons of fish. We would recommend this adventure to anyone and would gladly do it again and again. Hats off to the crew!!

We had a great crew that was nice, entertaining and took care of us. A very enjoyable time! A little tip is to go earlier in day because after about 9:30 or 10 the water starts to get rougher and rocks the boat more.

船ではイケメンのクルーたちが踊ったり歌ったりして楽しませてくれますが、朝から何も食べずに行ったのに、ランチという名のハンバーガー一個だけ。
行程表に書いてあったフルーツもなし。
しまいには下船後のフラレッスンさえもなく普通に送迎されて解散でした。
フラレッスンがないというインフォメーションもなし。
12時にはホテルに帰ってきました。
高いお金を払って参加したのに、予定の行程をこなさないのはどうかと思いました。

We were in Oahu visiting our Son and his wife, she was particularly interested in the shark tour. My wife, on the other hand, would have none of it, fortunately, they have an 'Observer' option available. We boarded the Kai Ou after removing our shoes and headed out. The Captain explained that the sharks had become accustomed to the sound of the engines since there had been crabbing done in the past and they would not need to chum the water...we were going to be the bait. The water was absolutely beautiful, a bit on the choppy side, however, which made entering the cage a little more adventurous. It was really amazing being in the water with the sharks all around, there were between 8 and twelve, plus a few other fish, including some very large Trumpet Fish. I think my wife got the worst end of the deal as she was sea sick when we got back in the boat. The crew members were awesome, I would definitely recommend this adventure!!!

Relaxing and enjoyable
Reviewed by: Heather, 2015/06/12We did SNUBA with Cam and had a great time. The boat is beautiful and the crew are all really nice and fun to spend the time with. We also met lots of other nice people from around the world. Next time I think we would drive ourselves from Waikiki to Ko Olina just to give ourselves more flexibility. The shuttle was fine, but we wished we had driven ourselves. We didn't see any turtles, but we did see a big group of dolphins and lots of beautiful fish.
