Diamond Head Hike & Oahu Island Tour - Haleiwa, Kualoa Beach & Dole Plantation
JUST RIGHT!

My son and I had just a few days, and wanted to see as much as we could without wearing ourselves out. An early morning hike up Diamond Head, and a subsequent tour of the island seemed like a good option, and it was great! We had enough time to climb and enjoy the view from the top, and then the van ride was wonderful. We both felt like it was the perfect balance of riding time and stops around the island at well-chosen locations. We never felt rushed, and never got bored. Our guide, Stephanie, was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great day! BTW, the hike is not an easy stroll, but neither is it too strenuous. I'm 68, and didn't have a problem. If you're not in great shape, take the easier trail, and not the demanding stairs when you get to that point. But take the hike. It's worth it!

During our visit to Hawaii, we decided to book a tour to Diamond Head for Sunrise Hiking. It was the best decision we made. Blue Lei Hawaii Tours provided excellent customer service from the beginning to the end. The driver arrived early and was very kind and helpful. We also received a delicious donut at the end of the hike! I'm glad we chose Blue Lei Hawaii Tours, and I would highly recommend using them for any of your tour needs.

It was lots of fun… the company we chose was great… easy pickup and return to your hotel area… people were super friendly and the breakfast part of it was a great option to choose… all good… the hike was awesome… be prepared though … water and light clothing… we went in August and it was very warm out even before sunrise. Excellent views… I would totally recommend this company for this event…!!!!! The views are amazing…!!!

ダイヤモンドヘッドとマカプウトレイルがセットになっているので、時間を有効活用できるよいプランだと思いました。６０代夫婦で登りましたが、危険なエリアもなく、混んでいなかったこともありますがみなさんマナーが良く、狭いところは譲り合いながら進むことができました。鳥のさえずりを聞きながら自然との一体感が味わえます。ダイヤモンドヘッドはラストの階段が少しきついですがだからこその達成感。山から見るホノルルの町と海は本当に美しいです。マカプウトレイルは２度目ですが岸壁の海の景色が忘れられず参加しました。初めはだらだらとした坂でつまらないと思うかもしれませんが、初めのカープを曲がったところから素晴らしい景色が始まりますので、根気よく登ってください。舗装されて道路で歩きやすいのですが、直射日光を避けるところがないため、帽子とラッシュガード、水は必須です。次回はぜひクジラが見たいので冬に参加したいです。

This was a great morning! The hike was mostly very easy, a few slippery parts, and a few muddy parts. It was mostly shaded, and through some extremely beautiful parts of the forest. I strongly recommend this trip! You could do it on your own, the trail is well-marked, but the guide added a lot of great information to it. Wear a little bug spray, bring some old comfortable shoes, and enjoy.

Sky was an amazing guide! He was sooooo knowledgeable and made our hike memorable. It was a beautiful place to hike and Sky gave us the origins of many of the plants and trees and animals not only living in the rain forest but on the island. The hike itself was pretty easy in most places til getting closer to the falls. It was pretty slippery but every step was worth it. It was simply breathtaking. I definitely recommend Sky as a guide.

From pick up to dro off everything went smoothly and I felt each of us got personal attention. It is rare to learn so much interrelated information (history, politics, economics, biological, environmental and ecological) so clearly in a short time. Our guide Brianna (sp) was bright, humorous and personal. Her knowledge both of Manoa Falls and Honolulu in general was most appreciated. I would strongly recommend this tour.

My daughter also left her hat on the van and they got back to me super quick when I emailed them and we just picked it up from their office. Fantastic customer service.

My son and I had a great time. Stephanie did very well! My son (12 yo) asked me how she could remember so much stuff. Really enjoyed the mix of activities as someone who doesn't like driving while traveling and very little of the island is accessible via public transportation.

My husband and I recently booked the tickets and shuttle to hike Diamond Head as I was reading how you had to have reservations to hike unless you are local. This is a change since the first time I hiked it when you didn’t have to make reservations. We also didn’t rent a car this visit, so the shuttle was perfect as it dropped us off and picked us up at a designated time. We were given tips on the way there as well as instructions how to make the hike more enjoyable. I highly recommend going with this company as you have three times to choose from to be picked up without the dynamics of reserving tickets or driving there or finding parking which is limited. The shuttle takes you as close to the trailhead as possible

We had great weather for the day. Diamond Head was a reasonably short hike with an amazing view of the island. Manoa falls was a nice hike through the jungle…was expecting a little more with the falls themselves. Overall great experience though.

It was an amazing time.

I had the best time on this tour. Our tour guide was amazing he was the best. The waterfall was awesome to swim in but you had to walk at least 30 min to get there which was not a bad hike at all. The scenery was beautiful and I even got a glimpse of a peacoke. The tour paid for coffee breakfast and lunch which was delicious. After the hike we went to Dole Plantation for dole whip which is pineapple ice cream.

We had 2 different drivers, one for DH and one for the waterfall. Both were excellent. They had waters for the end of the trip, and the waterfall driver had bug spray and walking sticks for everyone who needed them. They were both knowledgeable about the trails and gave great tips. Excellent!!
