初めてカヤックに乗りましたが、インストラクターなしにしました。
海までの道が少し不安でしたが、すぐ着いて無人島にも行くことができました。
乗り降りの際はライフセーバーが手伝ってくれたので、すんなりできました。
運動神経に自信のある人はインストラクターなしでも良さそう。
次は遠いところまでいってみたいです。

夫婦で初めてでしたので最初は、カヤックでひっくり返ったりしたらどうしようかとか考えていましたが、意外と安定していて心配は全くありません。
インストラクターの方が、非常にわかりやすく説明してくれたし、無人島での写真などもとってくれって、サービス満点でした。
天気もよく、すごくきれいな海で、カヤックもうまく漕げたし、楽しむことができました。
唯一の不満は、最後のカヌーの片付けが自分たちでやるのですが
海岸から少し高い丘に上げるのに、自分たちでは難しく、、同行の人の男性に手伝ってもらったり、上げてもカヌーをのせる台まで引きずるのも大変でした。
自分たちで片付けるのはいいですが、もう少し片付けるルートとか上げる時の誘導・手伝いが欲しかった。

This was fun, it was a windy day which made the kayak out to the island a little harder, but Hayley our guide was a great guide. The groups are kept small which makes it better.The staff are all very friendly, it's well organised, and there was a nice choice of 4 different free lunches that came with the activity.

Great day at the north beach. We chose the waterfall hike as our activity in the morning. You could have done snorkelling or bike rides if preferred. We then had free time on waimea bay beach. In the afternoon we had a free lunch instead of doing another activity such as kayaking. Saw sea turtles at a beach on the way home

カヤック体験は面白い

無人島へのカヤック体験は素晴らしかった。青い大海原に自分のチカラで漕ぎ出すのはとても気分がよかった。ただ、カヤックを借りる場所から海へ運ぶ距離が長く、結構大変でした。
また、事前の説明に時間を取られるのでカヤックで遊べる時間は意外と少なかったです。
昼食はビザがおいしかった。

Not enough kayaks or paddle boards for the amount of people there.
There needs to be some kind of system to check out the kayaks and the boards.
Three local girls were on the paddle boards for 2.5 hrs and didn't let anyone else use them.

Enjoyed it, it was nice. It's worth the money for the SUP and the kayaking. However, not the snorkeling.
Water is too murky for it.
I think it would be good to allow the swimmers to sign a release to not have to wear a life jacket. The area they give you to paddle and kayak on is limited and very close to the shore area.

Fun Kayaking Trip

While my friends and I were in Oahu, we knew we wanted to go kayaking. We were considering maybe just renting kayaks in Waikiki where we were staying, but we were concerned about just how crowded Waikiki Beach can get. My friend found this kayaking trip at Kailua Beach and we were sold. For about $80 we received kayak rentals, snorkel gear, lunch, and shuttle service. This kayaking adventure was definitely worth it! The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful, and the water was absolutely beautiful. I am so glad we were able to discover Kailua Beach. When I read that this trip included lunch, I expected a paper bag lunch, something like sandwiches and chips. But in reality we were given a coupon that was redeemable at four locations by the kayaking shop. We chose to have pizza at Bob's, which was delicious and filling. We did this on our last day in Oahu, so it was a great ending to our vacation.

2009年に参加してとても面白かったので、今度は母と参加しました。
ガイドの健さんがとても親切で、途中で写真を撮ってくれたり、色々説明してくれたり、とても楽しめました。
人数も少なかったので、フラットアイランドで泳いだりゆっくり写真を撮ったりできて最高でした。
帰りは送迎のバスに乗らずに自転車を借りてカイルアビーチでシュノーケリング。
海がとてもキレイで天国にいるみたいでした。
スタッフの方達が本当に親切で至れり尽せりでした。
また参加します。

カイルアビーチとラニカイビーチ、美しくて穏やかで最高ですね！
砂は真っ白海は発光しているかのようなコバルトブルー。
カウアイ島と沖縄でカヤック経験があるので、夫と二人、ガイドなしで参加しました。自由でとっても楽しかった！自分達のペースで、やりたいことを、自分達だけで好きなように楽しめました。
カヤックの面白いところは漕ぐのが簡単でよく進むし、目線が海面に近いこと。
まるで海と一体になったような感覚で景色を楽しむことが出来ます。
私たちはカヤックでカイルアビーチ→フラットアイランド→ラニカイビーチ→カイルアビーチと移動しました。途中ラニカイビーチでは、ゆっくりシュノーケリングを楽しみました。
珊瑚が転々とあり、波も穏やかで、いろんな魚を見られます。
この辺りのビーチは砂が真っ白でサラサラで気持ちいいです。
ランチのオススメのピザがとっても美味しかったです！
帰りは送迎を辞退し、のんびりカイルア観光を楽しみました。
島を走るTHE BUSも＄2.5と安いので、もう少しカイルアの町を楽しみたいと思った方は滞在時間を延ばすのも良いですね。
カヤックを海まで運ぶのは少し大変ですが、短い距離ですし、自分のことを自分でやって、自己責任で自由に楽しむ考え方が、なんともアメリカらしくて私は好きです。
スタッフは、皆さん元気で親切で気持ちが良い方たちでした。
ありがとうございました！
オアフにいったらまた必ずこちらでカヤックしたいです！

ガイドのヒデさんは丁寧に説明下さり初心者で40代の私達でもヘルプなしで無人島へ到着することができました。
確かに腕は痛くなりましたがそんな物とは比べ物にならないぐらいの感動でした！カイルアの海の美しさと自分でこいで到着したという達成感!!そしてガイドの楽しい無人島一周ツアー。時間が経つのを忘れるぐらい素晴しい体験ができました。
ランチのピザも美味しかったです。
是非また参加したいです。

Perfect setup if you want to do North Shore, but Not sure what activities

My wife and I were staying in Waikiki for a week and everyone said we need to make a trip to the North Shore when on Oahu. We scoured Trip Advisor, Yelp and other Hawaii Adventure sites and this one looked appealing. Turns out to be a great deal if you are looking for transportation to the North Shore and a variety of options to choose from once you get there. We chose to snorkel in the mornng at Sharks Cove then spend an hour at Waimea Bay, then in the afternoon we did the SUP down the river in Halewia.
The tour is setup where they pick you up on a ~20 person bus from multiple Waikiki hotels, then up a narrated drive up to the North Shore which took about 1 1/2 hours all together. Sam was our host for the day and is awesome at his job. Very knowledgable, humourous and makes the tour a good time. Once you are there, you get to see the options for the day such as hanging at the beach of Waimea Bay, surfing, snorkeling, beach bike cruise, Waimea Botanical Gardens, stand up paddle boarding and probably a few others options that I am missing. There is no additional cost to do these unless you want to do more than two. If there was one draw back for the day, it was that we could have enjoyed a few more hours on the beach and shopping at the local surf shops there.
Overall, great trip and glad we did it!

The concept is great. Transport is reliable, clean and on time. The tour guide, Harry, was entertaining and very friendly. The only thing we would suggest is that surfing be offered as one of the activities - it is after all what the area is best known for!
I would recommend this for anyone who wants an active day.
Thank you for the great review, surfing is offered to those with prior experience with our basic package.For the unexperienced folks we require they book the package which includes the "SURF LESSON". We are sorry if that wasn't explained thoroughly by Harry and will have to talk to him about that.

North Shore Beaches Surf Bus Tour with Driver Sam

Our family of 6 adults from Brisbane Australia loved this whole day tour. Our driver / tour guide Sam picked us up from our hotel on time, & drove safely. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Oahu, and explained all the sights on the way to the North Shore - he make the entire trip an awesome experience. He gave us a drive by & quick stop at each of the available activities before we chose them, then dropped us all to our chosen areas. 3 of us chose bike riding along the famous surfing beaches where we could stop and have beach time as we liked; the other 3 the walk through the beautiful gardens to the waterfall. Though a lovely walk, it is quite a long one, for anyone older. If you want a swim at the Falls, take cash for a compulsory life jacket hire! From there we walked back to Waimea Bay beach for a swim until our bus pick up. Our next activity for 4 of us was SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and 2 did kayaking. We LOVED this time on the water and would have liked to have a bit less time on the morning activities and more time for the afternoon ones! After, we walked through the town and sampled the Shaved Ice and some delicious lunch before boarding the bus completely satisfied with our day. We did several different tours while in Waikiki, and this was BY FAR the very best for the sightseeing, and activities on offer, plus the freedom to have our own time was fantastic. We were REALLY impressed with Sam the driver & happy to tip him well for his outstanding service - he contributed in a big way to making it the best tour during our time in Hawaii. Thank you Sam! I would highly recommend this tour, well worth it and we have great memories of our day.

Paradise is here!

After the check-in at Kualoa Ranch we took a shuttle to Moli'i Fishpond deck. When crossing the fishpond on a floating boat make sure to have your camera ready! It's the best time to take pictures of the majestic mountain range. The scenery is incredible, you feel like you are in a movie!
Once on the other side, we started enjoying our day at this beautiful private beach with views from Chinaman's Hat and Kaneohe Bay. They have restrooms, changing rooms, fresh water shower, covered picnic tables and a staff member to help you if you need anything. Make sure to bring sunscreen and some snacks.
My brother and I spent the morning kayaking, snorkeling, stand up paddling and playing games. The staff took us on a quick Glass Bottom Boat ride and we spotted a lot of green sea turtles! After all those activities we were just relaxing in a hammock under a palm tree.
I will definitely come back to enjoy another relaxing day there!

夫婦２人でガイドなしで参加。送迎とカヤックの説明をしてくれた男性は少し不愛想でしたが、その他の日本人の女性方は新設な説明をしてくれました。
ガイドなしでも主人が経験があったので問題なかったです。女性２人だと厳しいかも。この日は波も大きくなく穏やかだったのでまさにカヤック日和。しかしシュノーケリングをしましたが、そんなに沢山の魚は見れなかったです。。ホヌは２匹もみれました！とっても感動しました。

子供が少々英語が話せるので思い切ってトライしてみましたが、全く英語が話せない私たちはコミュニケーションもとれず、ただ皆さんのあとをついて行くだけ。スポットとかも説明はしてくれてるんだろうけど全くわからずただ勝手に泳いでいるだけでした。ましてやあまりきれいではなく何も感動せずに終わってしまいました。

Awesome day. You don't need experience at all. My wife and I have never been Kayaking and we did fine. Explored outer islands no problems. Highly recommend this place. Very friendly staff.

ピックアップからしてルーズ。10分過ぎて電話しなければと思ったところに迎えが来た。遠くから大きい声で呼び捨て。あごで「早くこっち来い」。私が短気だったらここで喧嘩だよ。小一時間もバスに乗り、着いた途端、説明ガイドは日本人なのにあまりの早口と大量の説明。あれで今後のすべてを理解しろというのは絶対に無理。昼食を引き換える場所と方法、私たちの会社はシャワーを4つ持っている、ということだけ記憶した。チップは専用封筒を渡され指示された。シーカヤックのガイドは「たとえ転覆しても自分は船を元に戻すことができるし、200kgの体重の人を引き上げて助けるから大丈夫」と安心感100%の言葉。しかし時間が経つと、ガイド付きツアーなのに「今日は自分は行かない」「お客さんだけ行きます」と。結局最終説明ではガイドも行くことに。かなりいい加減である。もちろん海まで自分たちが船を運ぶ。舗装道路はいいけれど、草や砂の上はかなり重たい。やっと海辺に到着し、水際に浮かべ乗り込むのに一苦労。ガイドの姿なんてどこにも見えない。とっととスタート地点にいた。水際からスタート地点までもけっこうな距離がある。スタート地点に行くまでは自己責任なのだろうか?もしかしてあの早口の説明はこのせいだったのか?
結局全然知らないアメリカ人の手を借り、ガイドではなく彼らの力で私たちは漕ぎ出した。やっとスタート地点に着いたら、後はひたすら漕ぐだけ。ガイドなどいようといまいと関係ない。転覆しないように漕ぐだけだ。無事に無人島に着き、島を一周。ガイドはここであれこれ説明してくれた。帰りはまたひたすら漕ぐ。スタート地点が見えガイドは「私が陸に着いてから漕いで来て」と言う。最初と最後は難しいからガイドが先なのだろうと納得し、言われた通りに漕ぎ出した。どこかで「転覆しても助ける」ということばを信じていたのかもしれない。
そして私たちは転覆した。すべてのものが逆さになり、右も左も上も下もわからない。でも助けは来ない。船を元に戻す? 体重200kg? そんなことばが空々しい。
シーカヤック直前にツアーのその店で買ったばかりの高いシャツも帽子も流された。あまりに頭にきてしばらく海から出なかったらやっとガイドはやってきた。「最低」のことばしか出なかった。本当は「このツアーのすべてが最低!」と言いたかった。砂だらけで水浸しのまま重い船を運ぶ。ガイドなんてずっと先を行ってしまった。店に着いたらとにかくシャワーを探した。4つあると自慢していたシャワーがわからない。仕方ないので聞いたら「そこ」と指差された。腰の高さもない外にある一本の水道管に間隔のない蛇口が4つ。その1つにホースがつながっていた。
よくビーチの入口にある、砂を落とすためのシャワーは最高級だと知った。目の前にあるものは頭や顔の砂など落とせない。足の砂落としが精いっぱい。そんな状態なのに、朝はあんなに遅れたバスが待機している。早口日本人ガイドは「急がなくていい」と言いながら時計を何度も見てバスの乗り口にピタッといる。ベチャベチャに濡れたまま荷物をぐちゃぐちゃに突っ込み走る。75才のおじいちゃんもいるのに…。忘れ物がないのかもさえ確認できない。こんなツアー、チップなんて必要ないと今でも思っているが、家族は相場以上のチップを専用ポストに入れ、さらに日本土産まで渡し、どこまでお人良しなのかと涙が出てくる。
人生で一、二番目に腹の立つ思いをハワイでするなんて思わなかった。
このツアーは、どれをとっても満足できるものは何一つない。
