Reviewed by: Wanda K, 2012/08/08This is the second year in a row that we attended the Polynesian Cultural Center and the Alii Luau. The show is great and the food is probably the best we have had at a Luau. This is probably because the focus is on doing everything possible so that the guest is entertained with a wonderful show and feed all the delicious food you want to eat instead of trying to get you to spend your money on alcohol and then getting you to act foolish like they do at many of the other luaus on Oahu.

Items that need improvement.
Reviewed by: Pat, 2012/07/27Overall, the show and activities were really good. However, we feel that there could have been some improvements in other areas.
First, the people who paid extra to sit next to the stage had to climb a great many steps which had no hand rails, to reach the food, drinks and to use the restrooms. There should be an area for the food and drinks to be closer for those people seated near the stage who paid more money for their tickets.
Secondly, after the first time that the our server came to help me with our order, she returned to see if we needed more food, but did not return after that to see if we wanted any dessert or coffee. The dessert and coffee were on another section of the upper level.
Third, since I was in a wheelchair, when the show started, I was wheeled in through the back of the stage to my seat. My wife was told that she could not come with me or exit the way I came in, causing a big problem at the end of the show. She was told to go to the customer relations des

Must do in Oahu
Reviewed by: Kari, 2012/07/25You must do this luau when you are in Oahu. Get the Deluxe Dinner Package...it is worth every penny. The staff was awesome, the food was excellent, the luau was amazing. The package includes a lei, coffee cup, souivener picture, 4 course meal that is served to you. I will go again when I am back in Hawaii.

楽しかったです！

席は小さい子供がいるので騒ぎ出して迷惑になったら困ると思いスタンダードシートにしました。見づらいかなぁと思っていましたが、正面だったからか何の問題もなかったです。ただ、お料理を取りに行くのはゴールデンサークルシートの方達のアトになるので少し待ちますが。。。
お料理は海苔巻きとローストビーフは美味しかったですが他は普通かな。
色々なダンスを見ることができて楽しかったです。その中でもファイヤーダンスは迫力がありました。子供も騒ぎ出すどころか音楽に合わせてリズムをとっていました。
ショー終了後にダンサーの方々と記念撮影ができたのは良かったです。

Must do at least once PCC!

The food was really good and the show was excellent. Everyone should go at least once and you may need to go back to see what you missed the first time.

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/07/16As we have done a couple Luaus before I knew what to expect. This is a pretty good one - their location is fantastic - much better than Germaine's. And really loved the Hawaiian activities before the dinner. The food and drinks were average though. The drinks at Germaine's were a lot stronger. This Luau was also a little more restrained - better for families and older couples? Germaine's was a lot more fun and relaxed.

We would like to thank the great chef, the pleasant/efficient servers & their very attentive manager. The show was great & very entertaining ESP. Michael Jackson, & the 2 Elvis impersonators. We'll do it again next time we are in Honolulu. Thank you so much for that excellent night!!! Btw, we're also glad that they gave us our 2 pictures. We will highly recommend this superb activity to our families & friends!

料理も順番に取りに行くのですが、私たちの席は最後の方だったので、かなり待たされ、ずっとする事もなくダラダラで、時間が勿体なかったです。
のんびりショーを見たい人だったらいいかもしれないけど、料理の内容を考えても、円高でもちょっと高いなぁと思いました。

ヒルトンホテルに次ぐ二度目のルアウショー
Reviewed by: Hassy, 2012/06/25コンドミニアムに滞在していたので最も近いハイアットリージェンシーホテル前に集合し、順次４ケ所から乗車、ほぼ満席の状態で出発しました。
日本人は私たち２人だけとの事で最前列に座るよう指示がありました。基本的に英語説明ですが、日本語のメモを見て大体分かります。
パラダイスコーブに到着後は席決め後は全くの自由行動。園内は狭いものの積極的にイベントに参加しないと退屈して終います。ただ余程英語が達者でないとアート作りは後回しされ嫌な思いをする事が多々あります。
次に席決めですが基本的には上クラスが真ん中、スタンダードは端席でバス＃ごとに決められラストネームを書き入れ指定席になります。
ウエルカムドリンクから終了するまでマイタイジュースを３杯飲みましたがとても美味しかったです。
セレモニーもあり、珍しいカルアピックは美味、ポイは不味いのでロミロミサーモンと混ぜると美味しく戴けます。
デザートはケーキ、フルーツ、コーヒー共充実していました。
ショータイムの間にはシンガー兼司会者が観客に語りかけ、ゲスト参加の場面が多々あり盛り上がります。記念日に当たった人は立ち上がり祝福されます。ムードあるダンスタイムや観客参加もあり、タヒチダンスやフキラウソングも一緒に踊ったりします。
帰りは出口でバス＃が待っていますが慌てずゆっくり周囲を見渡すとポリネシアン衣装の出演者と写真が撮れそうです。
最初に撮影したグループ写真は展示場にはなく、バスガイドさんが持って待っていました。
内容的には少し高めかなぁと思いますがアメリカ的な雰囲気を味わうならお勧めです。

英語がほぼ話せないのですが、初海外の記念？に申込行ってきました。
日本語のパンフレット希望とリクエストしたところ、バス専属のガイドさんが「マーク」さんとおっしゃいましたが、日本語のできる方で、丁寧に対応してくださってとても楽しめました。小学校の先生との事で子どもの事も気にかけてくださり至れりつくせりしていただきました。
到着後、タトゥーペイントやヤシの木のぼり、地引き網などイベントがあり子どもたちと楽しみました。
多分アメリカ本土からの方が多いのでしょうか、みんなとってものりのりで楽しい雰囲気の中のフラショーで楽しかったです。
子どもたちの踊る時間もあり、３人とも舞台に上がっておどったりして楽しい思い出ができました。
日本人は私たち家族だけでしたが、異国を感じられる楽しいショーでした
困った事と言えば迎えのバスが３０分くらい遅れて、不安になりホテルのフロントの方にお願いして電話をしていただきました。（ここだけは英語できないのが不安でした）
また機会があれば行きたいです。
パラダイス・コーブをお楽しみいただき有難うございます。
送迎につきましては、当日ワイキキ内でイベントが行われていた関係で、交通渋滞が激しくお迎えが遅れてしまいました。不安なお気持ちにさせてしまい、申し訳ございません。

アメリカンなハワイ体験

コオリナ地区はシャトルバスがあるので、ホテルのコンシェルジュにピックアップ時間をご確認ください。
なるべくでしたら、チップを１~２ドルくらい出すと良いです。
催行会社からのピックアップあるのかは不明です。
コンシェルジュに聞いたら「？？？」状態だったので・・・。
アウラニからは徒歩５~６分です。
帰りのシャトルバスの時間が不明だったので帰りは同じ方面の方々と帰りました。
☆ツアーの内容は全部英語です。
アメリカンジョークもありますがちんぷんかんぷんでした；
日本語ツアーを求めるならポリネシアン文化センターをオススメします。
☆お食事はハワイアン料理が食べれない方には難しいです。
ハウピア(ココナッツ)ゼリーは美味しかったです。
サラダのキュウリの大きさに驚いて近くの席のアメリカ人のおじさんと「眼鏡~~」と言って遊んでしまいました(笑)
おじさんはそれ以上に笑わせてくれましたが・・・。
☆ショーは高いコースだと遠くて見づらいかも・・・。
お料理は係の方が持ってきてくれますが、好きな料理を持ってこれないのがイヤならお安い方をオススメします。
☆ゲスト参加型のショーもあります。
彼氏やお父さん、旦那さん等が拉致られてショーに出演させられます。
恥ずかしがり屋さんやブチギレてしまう方にはオススメできません。
積極的に参加してくださいｖ
☆景色は最高です。
特に夕焼けはハワイの西端にあるだけあってゆっくりと見れます。
☆ハワイ体験
タトゥ(彫らない)、冠作成、レイ作成などがあります。
言葉がわからなくても参加できますが、のんびりしているとあっという間に次のイベントが始まります；

ワタワタしてしまい、１枚余ってしまいました；
カクテルもノンアルコールカクテルもあります。
作り方は大雑把ですので深く気にしないでください。
アルコールは濃い目なので深酔いするかも・・・。

He entertains you from the start to the end of the evening with his brilliant comedy skills, his drumming, singing and, of course, his fire dance which is sensational. There is a lot of audience participation, the food is excellent and it all adds up to the most magical evening. 'Chief' has an excellent team with him and I would highly recommend this Luau to anyone.

This was just fantastic from start to finish.
Our guide was informitive and very funny.
The luau was great. Entertainment out of this world. I can't speak highly enough about this activity.
Lovely to see the sun set. Paradise.
There was four of us, my husband, myself and two grand-daughters aged eight and eleven.
We didn't pay extra for the seating and I am glad we didn't as the view was super were ever you sat.
I would highly recommend this to every-one.

ダンサーは素晴らしい
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2012/05/23パフォーマンスは素晴らしかったです。プレミアムシートにしたのでよく鑑賞できたしビュッフェも待たされずに食べることができました。でも。。。何か物足りない感じがして、よく考えたら観ているだけで参加できなかったことだと。以前ハワイに来たとき、サンセット・クルーズでは目の前でのダンスがあり、飛び入り参加がとても楽しかったので。
この度は、スターライト・ルアウにお越しいただきありがとうございます。ショーをお楽しみいただき大変嬉しく思っております。こちらのツアーは参加型というよりはパフォーマンスを鑑賞していただくルアウショーとなりますため、ご期待とは少し異なった印象となってしまったのかと存じます。またのお越しをお待いたしております。

夜空の下で☆
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2012/05/21まず、集合場所が自分たちの宿泊ホテルだったにも関わらず、案内人が判明するまで時間がかかりました(A；´･ω･)
ダンスパフォーマンスをしていたダンサーさんが案内人だったみたいですｗ
他の観光客らしき人たちが、そのダンサーさんに声をかけてどこかに連れて行かれるのを見て、試しに声をかけると、私たちも無事、到着できた感じです。
そして会場まで長蛇の列で、席につくまでとても時間がかかりました。
ゴールデンサークル席を予約していたので、一番前の席に座り、ゴールデンは食事を取りに行くのも優先なので、早く食べ始めることができましたが、普通席の方々は30分以上も後に食事を取りに行くかんじなので、ぜひゴールデンサークル席を予約されることをお勧めします☆
あとはビール注文時に、やはり日本人は若く見られるらしく年齢を確認されたので(20代後半の私)、私たちの場合はパスポート提示までは求められませんでしたが、心配な方は年齢がわかる身分証を持って行かれたほうが良いかと思います。
ショーはダンサーさん達が次から次へと着替え、色々なダンスを見ることができました☆
個人的に小さな女の子のソロダンスが可愛くて仕方なかったです+.(o´∀｀o).+

Amazing night!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/05/21Booked this activity with a few friends, as we wanted to do something fun in the evening, and what a great choice this was! Being close to Waikiki is the first perk, but the entertainment and scenery makes it even better.
We were running late, so missed some of the crafts before the luau, but as soon as got there they were starting the Imu ceremony, which was unlike anything I have ever seen! Between Chief Seilu, who is the definition of entertainment, to the dancing, music, and wonderful food, this was definitely a night none of us will ever forget. Thanks Chief for keeping us laughing the whole time!

Reviewed by: おぬおぬ, 2012/05/19ショーは英語なので、言葉が分かるともっと楽しめると思いましたが、ショー自体が迫力があってすばらしいので、参加して良かった。食事もまあまあで、ハワイアンフードもありめずらしかった。ショーの中で今日が誕生日の人や今回ハネムーンで訪れている人など特別な人が前にでてみんなにお祝いされるのも、いい思い出になると思いました。ただ、日本人のハネムーンカップルは生バンドに合わせて抱き合いながらのダンスはちょっとはずかしそうでしたよ。
