夜風に吹かれて、ルアウショー。
Reviewed by: ハワイ大好き夫婦, 2015/04/21実は妻が日本でフラの教室をしていますので、私もかなりフラに関しては馴染み深いのですが、妻の姉が今回初ハワイでしたので、ショー形式のフラ・ハワイアンショーをヒルトンホテルの中階層のテラスで見せてあげようと出かけてきました。タヒチアンあり、多少アレンジされたフラが有り、ショーとして割り切って見ればそれなりに楽しめるショーでした。食事の内容はスタンダードも変わりませんし、席もあまり関係ないようですので、スタンダードチケットで私達はかえってよかったね！と、思った位でした。

So and so!

My disappointment was because I paid for a Royal seating and the seating was not good at all. I had to stand up and sit on the ground to have a beatiful view and I also didn't get the lei. But all the staff people were really very kind and I enjoyed the traditional dances and the fire knives dance.

Big Kahuna Luau at Tantalus Mountain Top with Honolulu City View
Fabulous!
Reviewed by: CarolS, 2015/04/08This luau was absolutely fabulous! What sets it apart from others? The views are spectacular! The food is outstanding! It is smaller, so the people go out of their way to make you feel very special. The 8 yr old fire dancer was amazing! The open bar with the premium package is a great idea (great drinks too; not watered down; served to your table). We were told to bring a jacket, but didn't need it. All in all, we had a super time. We will come back. Mahalo!

A perfect day!

I had the super Ambassador package with a private guide and I really felt privileged and I enjoyed the culture and traditions of the Polynesian people. Every show, every cultural event was organized with great respect and love for the Polynesian natives. I had a dip in the full life of seven similar, but very different, traditions, culminating in the wonderful final show: Ha, a breath of life! I also appreciated the fact that the Polynesian Center is carried out by students of the various islands and that our contribution is to support their studies. This is a great way to spread culture! MAHALO!
Special thanks to Clifton, my personal guide. He is a good hearted boy with a deep feeling for his culture and a deep respect for other people.

日本のものまねとはレベルが違いますね。
エンターテイメントでした。
娘と二人の春休み旅行の楽しい思い出が1つふえました。
バックステージツアーはウエルカムシャンパンと出演者のかたたちのお出迎えでチョーVIP待遇で楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
エルビスがかっこよかったです。
マイケルもいましたよ。
ガガ様もね！
タネあかしあり、一緒に写真も撮れて楽しかったです。
料理はディナーショーの料理とあって全然期待せずに行ったのが良かったのか結構美味しかったです！！
日本では食べる機会のないロブスターもステーキもデザートもおいしくいただきました。
席は一番前のVIP席。
ショーの途中歌いながら席に来てくれてほっぺにキスのまたまたVIPサービスに、楽しく観れました。
とにかくびっくりするほどのVIP待遇、めったにできない体験で楽しめました。

worth the money

Deluxe package is the only way to go!
Reviewed by: Maiwayalways1, 2015/04/03The deluxe package is fantastic. It's pricey but well worth the investment. We had three children with us and the seating was stage side. A great view for the children. The activities were great for our children and the Lava flows were great sipping while they were having fun. The meal was served to us by waitresses and the show was wonderful. We have been to the Polynesian cultural center for their deluxe luau and show and these two luaus were very comparable. Food selection was wider@ the cultural center but the shows were phenomenal. The seating was front row but set back further from stage@ the cultural center but still was entertaining. The kids really enjoyed the fire dance and to see it up close was a treat for all of us. Overall this is a great choice for a luau and the food was good.

They decorated the venue very nice and we were in the shade the whole time, which really helped. The food was wonderful, with a wide selection for everybody, even the kids. The acts were fantastic! I took a star away for the location not being by the ocean and the tight seating arrangement.

グリーンルームモニターツアーだったのですが、
グリーンルームでVIPな気分を味わえました！
ツアー開始時間に30分程遅れてしまい、舞台裏の見学はできなかったのですが、すぐにウェルカムシャンパンを持ってきて頂き席に案内されました。シャンパンも飲みやすくて美味しかったです！
料理のロブスター、ステーキも柔らかくて料理全部美味しくいただきました！
グリーンルームのツアーでは飲み物が1人1杯まで無料で二杯目からは料金がかかるシステムになっていて、
1杯10ドル+チップで少しお高いかな？と感じました。
一番前に席が用意してあり、すぐ目の前でショーを見ることができました。
マイケルジャクソン、レディーガガ、プレスリーのものまねショーは知っている曲が結構あり楽しめました！
本場のフラショーも迫力満点で圧倒されました！
フラショーに出ている方が綺麗な人ばっかりです^_^
周りの観客も外国の方が多くリアクションが大きく又それも楽しかった！
英語が分からずトークは何を言ってるのかちんぷんかんぷんでしたがつられて笑ってました輪
最後にマイケルジャクソン似？（笑）の方と写真が撮れました！
美味しい料理とショーも一度に楽しめオススメですよー！
楽しい思い出をありがとうございました！
又ハワイに行ってこのようなモニターツアーがあったら参加したいです！
ロックアフラをおこし頂、まことに有難うございました！舞台の見学が出来なかったことで大変申し訳ございませんでした。後はお楽しみ頂き、大変嬉しく思っています！

Waikiki Luau with All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Dinner, Fire Dance & Rock-A-Hula Show

Reviewed by: BeachBoy, 2015/03/26We attended as a couple, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We did the Terrance luau style dining, and it was very good. All the food from the buffet were excellent, and the two hula dancers and a Hawaiian musician created a great atmosphere to enjoy our dinner.
Once the show began, the time flew by. Elvis started the show with some old classic rocks, then Lady Gaga came on. She was hilarious and I thought her piano performance was pretty good. But our favorite was Michael Jackson. Everyone loved him, and boy, he had some moves. He even got the side way moonwalk down to science.
Overall, it was a great night, and I highly recommend this show to anyone!

Reviewed by: JUNKO, 2015/03/24アウラニに泊まっていたので、本格的なルアウを見たいと徒歩で向かいました。
全てのアクティビティが英語で進行するのはわかっていましたが、こちらが会話ができるレベルではないことを知ると、面倒くさそうにした上に、思いっきり悪口を言っており（会話はできなくとも、ヒアリングはできるため）人にもよるとは思いますがキャストの態度は最悪でした。
ショーが始まる前にもタトゥーをペイントしたり、ブレスレットを作ったりできますが、やや時間を持て余ます感がありました。
デラックスタイプにしていたので＄２０？２４くらいのギフトカードがついていましたが、飲み物も何杯も飲めないので、売店に行きましたが、購買意欲があまり沸かない商品が陳列してあり、ショーが終わって団体専用のバスが出てしまうと早々に店じまいしてしまうので、早めに商品にしてしまうのがお勧めです。結局私は＄１５ほど使えずに終わってしまいました。
ショーの内容はすばらしかったですが、食事はまぁ、こんなもんかといった感想です。
もう1度行くか・・・というと、正直わかりません。
この度はツアーにご参加いただきまして誠にありがとうございます。
しかしながら、現地スタッフの対応でご不快な思いをさせてしまいましたこと、大変申し訳ございません。

Why see the chief or a center, when you can hang with Kahunas!

As we boarded the bus, he gave us our ticket, and gave us a brief explanation as to what were are going to expect. We then picked everyone else up and he then further detailed what we all was about to experience. On our drive up Chad, was greeting everyone and getting to know them by asking for everyone's first names, where they are from etc. He made a real great first impression. As soon as we got to the luau we knew what to expect. He were greeted with a shell lei, maitai, and appetizers! We took photos with hula dancers, danced hula with them, and started drinking! Those maitais were amazing! I had three before we even got seated for our dinner. Dinner menu was amazing with local foods that I couldn't get enough of. I was in a dilemma, I was either going to drink a lot, or eat a lot, so I decided to do both. Little did I know that the next day, my bed was my best friend. This is by far the classiest luau where you have servers going around asking if everything is okay even if you weren't in the VIP section. I had an amazing time and I wish everyone would take my word about how fabulous the Big Kahuna Luau is! Mahalo to Discover Hawaii Tours & VELTRA for seting me up with awesome memories!

My daughters and family also feel the same when we went together. The show is always outstanding and the food to die for. All the people working for Paradise Cove are wonderful and so helpful.
I will tell my other friends about it and my next trip to Hawaii I will return.

I was searching for a dinner and show activity and I was fortunate that I came across hawaiiactivities.com - Veltra because they have a 2 For 1 Review Rebate Special. I was traveling with my family, and so we booked for the Green Room & Dinner Show package. As we checked in at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, we were greeted with warm alohas from everyone working. We started on an amazing tour of the theater and got to see some of the marvelous collections of Elvis and Michael Jackson. The dinner was amazing, and the we had the cocktails coming all night long. The show was amazing! It brought back many fond memories of my teenage life growing up listening to Elvis. I was having many flashbacks as I was singing to all the songs and rocking the night away. But unlike many shows in Waikiki, Rock A Hula has something special and particular to their show which is... Hawaiian Performances. Hula dancers, chants, and acts that resembled Elvis's presence here in Hawaii while sharing the Aloha spirit. This show is highly recommended if you love old school pop and classical songs. Thank you Veltra & Stars of Paradise for this wonderful time I had.

せっかくだからと
ゴールデンサークルにしましたが
やはり大正解でした。
ステージのすぐ間際でショーを見られて
大迫力で、火の暖かさまで感じられるくらいでした。
ゴールデンサークルだと
入場の際に、シェルのレイのほか
生花のレイもかけてもらえるし、
ルアウのビュッフェも優先的に
取りに行くことができます。
プレミアムシートだけの価値はありました。
ただ、残念なことに
たいへん風の強い日で
かなり寒かったので
上着は持参されたほうがよいでしょう。
ハワイの文化を楽しみながら
おいしいお料理をいただけて
たいへん満喫しました。

No fault of the luau by any means. Just a lack of common consideration by a handful of inconsiderate people. It could have happened anywhere and our family was able to move to avoid them.
