I booked this event for a very large family. We were taken to spots that only have tiny fishes, non keepers. The boat has no fish finder. We were baked in the heat. The food was chili dog with rice and the only beverage was and some kind of juice in the cooler. What a complete waste of time.

ブルーマーリン(カジキマグロ)を釣れました

初心者でも身振り手振りで英語が理解できれば楽しめると思います。

ルアーを船で引くのでいるのは運だけ
ヒットするまでは船の上クルージングを楽しみ

ヒットしてからは80kgのカジキと15～20分の格闘でした。

気力と体力は必須ですが
良かったです

2日前の獲物で作ってくれた船長自家製のカジキのポケも最高でした

酔い止め必須です

クルージングではダイヤモンドヘッドに向かいながらキレイな景色を堪能できて途中ウミガメ出現で近くまで寄せてもらいとても楽しめました。私達グループは釣れなかったけど他の方の釣れた魚をその場で捌いてくれてグリルして皆で食べさせて頂き、とても美味しかったです〜
残念だったのは集合時間前に行ってたのに30分以上も待たされてからの出航だったので朝の貴重な時間が勿体なかったです。アバウトなのは国独特の性質なのかな…
またの機会があれば利用したいです。

船長さんは現地の方で父は英語がわからないのでとても不安がっていましたが、気さくに対応していただき、大満足で帰って来ました！
疲れた～重かった～とそれはそれは嬉しそうな顔で話してくれました！

Great fishing trip on a budget

Captain Chuck and Warren did an excellent job of taking our group on a fishing trip out of Waikiki. This is not big game sport fishing! This is a great day cruise that allows for a bottom fishing experience and that is exactly what we got. The shuttle pickup right in front of our hotel and the meal served (not great) were just added bonus. Additionally, we got to eat some of the fish we caught on the grill during our return to port.

I would recommend the trip to anyone that is willing to get the open ocean fishing experience on a budget and is family friendly, even for younger kids/teens.

Will definitely do again in the future!

it wasn't what I expected.

There weren't many fish caught. I only got one. my dad got nothing.
Bring your own food, dinner was rice, beans, and a hot dog. it wasn't BBQ like it said. It got pretty windy and cold. There were also around 30 or more people on board, so a bit crowded. no place to seat on. The highlight probably would have been the scenery. got very bored after about an hour later. most people fell in sleep.

送迎はかなり待ちます。
私達は40分待ち、正直来るのか不安でした。
釣果は1匹、、釣り具も年季もの、エサはイカのみです。
同じツアーで連れていたのは3人くらい？でしょうか。
釣り方もレクチャーはないので経験豊かな人しか釣れないのかな？
でもクルーの陽気さとロケーションは最高としか言えません！

送迎は注意！

予約確定後のバウチャーに｢滞在ホテル前で7時25分にピックアップ」と記載されていたにも関わらず、当日の朝、部屋を出る直前に、ホテルの部屋電話に、「ピックアップは無くなったから、自力でタクシーを拾って、集合場所まで来て」という英語での電話を受けた。タクシー代もこちらもち。いきなりの英語での電話による変更で、パニクる上、wifi状態も不安定で、Uberも未登録だったため、ホテル前で待機のタクシーを拾って、その運転手に、集合場所を明確に知らせるのに、とても苦労した。ハーバー内でも、迷って、タクシー代金も20ドル以上した。騙された気分。釣果はまあまあ。釣具はかなりの年季物で傷みがひどいが、釣れたから良し。送迎間際の送迎変更さえなければ、ほぼ大満足。出鼻を挫かれ、ホントにガッカリ。送迎があると安心せず、自力で集合する場合の備え(明確な集合位置確認、タクシー代、Uberアプリ等)をお薦めする。

My husband and I had a great time fishing on the Maggie Joe. The crew worked hard to try and ensure everyone on the boat caught some fish. They were very professional, helpful and fun. This was my first time deep sea fishing and I caught a nice mahi mahi...it was a blast!

今回のハワイは、オアフ島に4泊6日の予定で、最後の日、ワイフはショッピング、私は一人で釣りに参加した。迎えのバスは私１人で、５分ほど遅れて乗船場に着いた。乗り込むと、既に２０人ほどの客が思い思いの場所を陣取っていた。日本人は私一人だけで、現地のハワイアンとアメリカンの様でした。クルーを含めてみんな陽気な人たちばかりでヘイ―！これスナックだ！と紙コップを渡してくれた。よく見るとその中にはイカを輪切りにした大きな餌が入っていた。ダイアモンドヘッドを見ながら釣りをしていたら突然大きな手ごたえがあった。みんなオーと歓声が上がった。陽気なアメリカンは頼みもしないのに、魚をつかみ針を外してくれた。いかにも自分が釣り上げたかのように満足そうに写真に納まっていた。日本では、よく釣りに行く私にとって、ちょっとおせっかいだな～。
それでも、客もクルーもとても気さくで、周りの人たちと、釣りの話で盛り上がり、とても楽しかった。ちょっと残念なことは〝送迎付き”のはずなのに
帰りは迎えが来ず、自分でホテルに帰った。（日本ではありえないよ）

日本人は私一人でした。
私が釣ったお魚さんなんだけど・・・
空も海もとてもきれいで、絵葉書のようです。

Didn’t get to go, there wasn’t enough people. We had to do a bottom fishing trip instead, we had done this trip before so it was kind of a let down for us due to that fact that we were really looking forward to the other trip. So maybe next year we can do the night shark trip.

My daughter and I were in Honolulu for a week and wanted to do something different.
Even if you don't catch a fish, which I think would be highley unlikely.
It's awesome to see the Honolulu skyline from the ocean.
Just be prepared for a little motion sickness, as i did towards the end of the trip.
But saying all that, we had great experience and definitely worth the money.

We booked Captain Tigers fishing trip based on the reviews we read..we had a really good time..we had chili with rice and a grilled hot dog for lunch and our catch of the day was grilled and served to us before we docked..it was very affordable and well worth the money.

A shame

The crew were great but it was a really long slow boat ride out to the fishing spot. People started off really well catching fish, but we probably only stayed in that spot for around 15mins before moving to another, and then another. The final spot which we probably spent about 30mins in, only about 3 fish were caught in that time. Most of the fish caught were not edible either. The kids got sick from eating the sausage they served for lunch, as did a few other people and no it wasn’t sea sickness because we’ve been on boats plenty and never had an issue. There were also around 30 or more people on board, so a bit crowded. The highlight probably would have been the scenery and the turtles we saw.

If you are expecting to go fishing and catch fish This is not the boat you want or to take your catch home it doesn't happen here its more like a tourist boat ride to experience fishing in the ocean no fish finder used most likely we movwd three spots and out of 16 poles three little fish i would not go again

Every year we come back we will be taking this trip the guide from Oregon showed us an amazing time. 4 our of 5 caught sharks and the views of the city and night is something you have to see
