家族5人で参加。キャプテンとスタッフの方1人がついてくれて、定員が6人だったので外国人の方1人と一緒に出航しました。集合時間は朝早いのでまだ暗かったです。
海から見る朝日がとても綺麗でした。
我が家は28kgのカジキと15kgのシイラをサポートしてもらいながら釣ることが出来ました。奇跡的な幸運で大興奮。全員さんも一緒に乗った外国人の方も優しく明るい方たちでとても楽しくトローリングでした。
是非またお願いしたいです。ありがとうございました。

肌寒いときがあるので羽織るものがあるとよい。飲み物は持参してクーラーボックスに入れてもらった。食べ物も中で食べれる。魚がかかるまでは船内に座って居た。船内にトイレはあるが済ませてから乗船した方がいい

どうせカジキは絶対無理と思って最初から期待はしてなかったのですが、まさかの開始1時間半でカジキ（40キロ）釣りました！その後もマヒマヒ特大（50キロ）釣れました！他の2人もマヒマヒ3匹で
3人のトローリングで計5匹釣れました！
船酔いで当たりが来るまではずっとダウンしてましたが、最高の思い出になりました！
本当にありがとうございました！

朝7:30チェックインとのことで集合場所に7:15迄に行ったが7:30になってもスタッフ現れず。7:52になってようやく現れた。それから2人だけのスタッフで船内の準備など始め出発は予定より数分遅れた。出発遅れるのは気にしないが予定の集合時間に誰もいなかった為待っている間は少し不安だった。
ワイキキ海岸沿い一帯を海から眺望。しばらくしてダイヤモンドヘッドから300-400メートルほど離れた場所を周り釣りスタート。簡単に色々な魚が釣れて楽しかった。母親が糸を絡ませたり色々スタッフに面倒をかけてしまったが親切に対応してくれた。野生のイルカが泳いでいるのもたまたま近くで見ることができ良い経験だった。
参加者8名とスタッフの目が行き届く人数でよかった。
詳細にある釣った魚を船内でバーベキューがなかったのは残念だった。

連日の強風と、前日の急な予約で心配しましたが無事に遂行
状況に合わせた浅場での釣りになりましたが、それなりに楽しく遊べました
移動中はイルカ群れのお迎えもありました
貸し出し道具はそこそこの手入れで、あたりはずれがありそう
キャプテンは多少日本語も話せるので問題無し
参加者の集合遅れなどがあり出航が遅くなったが、まぁHawaiiTimeなので、、、

日本では見れない魚を見たり、引きの強さを味わうことができました。

アラワイポートハーバの入り口に受付場所があります。61番です。

日本語を、わずかに話せるスタッフがいました。
基本的な釣りの手技は現地の人が英語で教えてくれます。

イカを餌にオモリを海底まで垂らして釣るというものでした。当たりがないと船長さんが船を移動させてスポットを探してくれます。

とてつもなく引きの強いアタリが、3度ほどありましたが逃げられてしまいました。何の魚だったのかは不明です。

釣れた魚は基本的にリリースするようです。その場で調理することはありませんでした。しかし魚の種類や名前は教えてもらえます。

釣り好きの子供達は楽しんでおりました。


船はかなり揺れますので酔い止めは、必須です。
日差しも強あので日焼け止めも必須です。

いつもと違う角度からワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドが見られるのでその点も新鮮でした。

とっても親切にしていただいて、のんびり船から見るダイヤモンドヘッドとワイキキは最高でした。
イルカも見れて楽しかったです!
魚は少ししか釣れませんでしたが、ハワイでしか見れない魚が釣れて、子供達も満足でした。

釣り糸が絡まったり、餌がうまく付けられない、釣った魚から針をはずせない、など釣りの初心者が体験する際にも優しくサポートしてくれました。
海亀や、イルカなどを見かけては歓声を上げていました。

First time Waikki Fishing Trip

Great time 1st trip on a fishing boat with kids. Meeting many wonderful patron on the ship along with the boat captain. Our kids managed to catches the first fish during our boat trip. Definitely would plan to come back next month. Hopefully this time our boat can catch more fishes comparing to last trip. It's wasn't that much fishes floating somehow but overall still an awesome journey with kids and family's. Scenic of Waikiki is unbelievable along many Dolphin jumping and boiling on the surface of the sunrise calm Aquatic blue ocean.

The people were fantastic and the fishing was great! My son (10) and I had a blast! My son also really enjoyed seeing whales and sea turtles on our trip. We highly recommend this excursion for anyone!

Really nice fishing trip! Jack and the Capt. (don’t think I got her name) were really great hosts. Jack was excellent! Super helpful with all concerns regarding fishing equipment and hooking a fish. The Capt. was kind and informative. She knows her job and does it well. Despite the choppy seas, she got us to the spots where people caught fish. It was a great time and well recommended.

Captain Tiger's Waikiki Daytime and Sunset Bottom Fishing Cruise [Closed]

First time i caught nothing!

I did not catch anything, but doesn't mean i didn't enjoy it. I will be doing this again next year i go back. Took some pictures while i was there. Best shot is the moon over diamond head crater when the sun set on the other side. Still cannot beat the fireworks display!

Waikiki Bottom Fishing Cruise Tour - Ohana Fun Charters

Kind of ok, but would not recommend it to a friend

It was ok. Tackle is not fancy but well maintained, bait is basic easy kind (frozen squid). Our group (about 20 people) caught 4 small fish total over 3h - not much but it is great to prove that we all had a chance. I felt like the crew could have done better. My personal peeve is, for some reason they decided to move away from a shallow (= easy to fish) spot where multiple people were getting bites to a super deep one with no bites (I’m guessing they were simply unaware that we were getting bites). Another problem is, when at a spot, the boat is simply set adrift, which makes it quite impossible to fish vertically (since the boat is moving).

Fun morning

This is a nice quick activity for people interested in finishing whether your new or experienced. This can get real tippy on the waves so make sure you have anti-nausea just incase.

The small crew is great, fun and friendly, they're helpful and supportive.
We're used to some medium fish from rivers and lakes mainland, so these fish seemed small, but it was still fun fighting with some on the line, that's always the fun part.
However the water is so clear it's such a different experience.
They will teach you how not to get your weight stuck and how to get it out if you do, if not, they'll help you.

While moving from fishing spot to spot, we had dolphins swim along side our boat and saw a few turtles breach!!
Would love to see if there are bigger fish to catch depending on season but overall was fun, don't expect to be catching massive ocean fish though.


I do not recommend this for kids who either have not fished or are not interested in it before hand. It's fishing, there's a lot of waiting and patience involved, and most kids if they havnt fished before and know it's a waiting game, like on our tour will get bored within 10 minutes of holding a line and will either annoy the other guests or just simply won't enjoy it.

Good for the fishing experience.

Went on this fishing excursion on Saturday morning Aug 7, 2021. Boat was clean, poles were ready and all in working order, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Maybe 5 fish were caught the entire trip out of everyone on board. On the way back one of the crew members said ‘I wouldn’t keep anything I caught here because it’s ‘dirty’ water’. If you’re looking for a fishing experience this is great as it’s just the right amount of time on the water and is family friendly. If you want to catch fish then this is not for you. My 12 year old had a good time so that’s all that matters.

My first time out on the ocean and it was great. We caught a 40 pound Maui Maui. The crew were Brewski and Darren they were great. Very personable and knowledgeable. They cut up all the fish and decided amongst all the passengers.

私たちペアのほかに2名ヨーロッパ旅行者が2名の合計で4名で出港しました。
最初の一時間はダイヤモンドヘッド近くまで行き、船員2名でトローリング用のあじ？小魚を10匹ほど釣ったのを見てました。
いざトローリング、8時間のクルージングでマヒマヒとマグロの計2匹が釣れましたが最初にトランプで1～4の番号をひき、竿をひく順番を決め、我々は３・４番をひいたので魚の竿をまく順番が回ってきませんでした。一日に全く釣れないこともあるようなので、乗船人数分魚が釣れる可能性が少ないのであればせめてペアのチーム戦にするとか1匹を4人で交代するとか参加者に平等性が欲しいと思いました。運がなかったと諦めましたが、マヒマヒとマグロを約10分かけて引き揚げていたヨーロッパ旅行者は楽しそうで2万ちょっとの価値もあったと思いますが、竿を握れなかった私たちは高いクルージング代で終わりました。
