Great crew. Best fun to value available. These guys have this down to the details. Pros all the way around. You can go with the others if you want but I know the secret.
I went with my family. My wife and daughter were first time snorkelors and apprehensive at the least. Mindy did a great job working with them and getting them into the water.
The captain went out of his way to find fun. The photographer took the best open water photos I've seen. I have seen a few.
The food was generous and tasty.
Thanks guys, see you next time.

Ko Olina Ocean adventures actually placed me on the wrong activity.. I wanted to be lazy, lay around on their catamaran, enjoy the sun , do some leisure snorkeling and drink Instead I was placed on a small ocean raft but I had a great dolphin swim adventure.
We started off checking in, which was actually pretty fast. Waited around for about 25 minutes until everyone was checked in and got on the boat (NO SLIPPERS ALLOWED), this is a barefeet type of activity, they ask that you leave your slippers on the dock.
First snorkeling site is just your normal site, this allows whoever is not familiar with snorkeling to get familiar. My sister and I actually drifted off because we had our head in the water the entire time, and we did not realize how far we drifted away form the boat. Luckily, the crew consists of awesome swimmers and they jumped in to pull us back to the boat. :-)
2nd and 3rd site was our Dolphin Drops, the boat is still moving and you slide off the boat into the wat

This was our first time to the Sea Life Park, and if it had not been for the dolphin, and sea lion shows this was would have been a busted trip for us. We did not participate in the dolphin swims, and after our tour bus dropped us off at the park, we walked around to see the different exhibits. Given the number of exhibits (which you can find more of a zoo) we were finished within an hour. We were very disappointed until the individual shows began. This saved this trip for us.

I had a great time at Sea Life Park doing the Royal Dolphin Swim with Carly as my guide. This is something I have always wanted to do and I felt like a little kid again. Since we've been home, we've discovered that the movie "50 First Dates" was filmed at Sea Life Park and we enjoyed seeing where we were on the movie. Carly was awesome! The dolphins were incredible!!! My only complaint is that is wasn't long enough. Would highly recommend.

Overall it was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a great time swimming with the Dolphins and the Sea Lions. But was a little disappointed in the Ray experience. Did not have much time with them and their pond was fairly dirty, but their handler was extremely nice. Would definitely recommend the Dolphin and Sea Lion experiences, but not sure we would do the Rays again.

Staff were great and lunch was nice however took a long time to actually see any dolphins. However we did eventually find them in addition to turtles, seals and whales. Stayed a long way away from them and couldnt get a close look. Boat ride was lots of fun which made up for the long wait. I was under the impression from the tours description that you could swim with or near the dolphins however this is not the case at all and only saw them for a few minutes before being taken far away to a snorkle spot.

We spent 8 days in Hawaii, and did a lot of activities. I have to say that this snorkeling trip was my favorite thing of the whole trip. We got to swim with about 40 wild dolphins, sea turtles, and feed tropical fish. It is so amazing to be with these animals in their natural habitat. So much cooler then doing any type of interaction at a sea park. I highly reccomend this to anyone. Any time I go back to Hawaii in the future, I will definitely be doing this trip again.

We did three parts with manta rays, dolphins and sea lions. It was nice going on a Tuesday as 2 of the 3 activities it was only me and my son and the 3rd the group was nice and small. We actually got to get a belly ride from the wolphin (dolphin/ whale hybrid). She was very cute and sweet. The trainers all took time to explain things and didn't just say no you can't do that, they always explained why it would be bad for the animal. They took time to talk about the animals themselves and seemed genuine about their jobs.

This activity was well worth the cost. The crew as great and did everything possible to make sure that everyone had the opportunity to "swim" with the spinnner dolphins and see other unique sea life while snorkeling. Don't go into this activity expecting the dolphins to swim right up to you. They are wild animals. Be content with seeing this wonderful creature in its natural habitat no matter how close they come to you. The two snorkeling sights that were great. Especially the turtle cleaning station. My best advice is to remember that you are being given the oppotunity to see these animals in their natural environment. Listen to the advice of the crew - this is a time for observation, a chance to see what the animals are like when they are not in a confined place. It is not the time to try and touch or chase these graceful creatures.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon. I have always dreamed of swimming with dolphins, and couldn't wait to experience this. They sent us to a pool in the back of the park and gave us life jackets. We then got into the VERY COLD water and onto this platform. The water eventually warmed up, and everything was fine. The trainer showed us the dolphin and let us pet her. We then got to put on masks and watch her do tricks under water. She asked my husband and I go first. So, we swam out into the deeper water and off the platform. I crossed my arms while my husband gave an arm signal for the dolphin to pick him up. Riding the dolphin was just surreal, it's something that you probably only get to do once in a lifetime. It was definitely worth every EXPENSIVE penny! But, once you've done it already, I wouldn't pay to do it again.

It was a wonderful adventure for our grandchildren They loved it. The park has only a small storage area with a single use key. We put everything in it, then realized the camera was in it. Not worth another $2.00 to get it out and cameras were not allowed in the water. Pretty much forced you to buy their pictures at $16.00 a pop if you wanted any memories. Activities did not start on time. We were under time constraints and it was pretty tight.
Everyone was very friendly but time was not a consideration for them,

We used hawaiiactivities.com a couple years ago to book parasailing and it went well so we booked the Dolphin Adventure this year through his same website and got great service from hawaiiactivities while booking.
We did the Dolphin Adventure and had a great time. I thought 30 minutes in the water wouldn't be long enough, but it was perfect.
For the belly ride you need to swim to the deeper end, but you're wearing a life jacket which keeps you a float. I don't know how to swim and was able to just doggie paddle with my life jacket to get to the deep end.
The staff there is very friendly, including the driver that took us to and from the park.
Note that if you choose to use their transportation, be prepared to wait around for a while, either to get into the water or to get a ride back to the hotel since it appeared there's only one transport sheduled for the morning activities. We left Waikiki at 9am for the 11:45am activity and didn't leave the park until 2:30pm. Seali

The park itself was great, its small but with all the tours and activities with the Royal pass, time flew and then it was closing time. Everything on the tour was a magical experience, starting with playing with a sea lion, to the ray fish, to riding with the dolphins and seeing the first ever crossbreed of a whale/dolphin. absoultey great and an unforgetable day. Truely worth spending the money for the royal pass as you really do get to play and ride the dolphins. The only disappointment was that we spend alot of money paying for the DVD and photos of us with the dolphins and not all the different rides with the dolphins were captured by the photographer and camera person. They were really disinterested and most of the time on their cell phone instead of paying attention to capture people's first

It was great. I was lucky enough to have the turtles swim right up to my nose, and the dolphins to swim up right underneath me. We had some trouble getting the dolphins to come close, but I'm glad that the crew kept on trying. The guys were really nice and the photographer took some great shots. I think it's great for first timers as well - you can opt to go after everyone and the crew really makes sure that you're safe. I would do it again any time (if I had more time in Oahu, I actually would've done it again in the week that I was there) and highly recommend it.
I wish I heard about the "deep drop" before I went, but I guess it just means I'll have to go again...

Excursion was overall quite enjoyable. Was a bit disappointed that no turtles were seen, but this was due to weather/surf conditions and not under staff control. Crew worked hard to try to get all passengers in water with small pod of dolphins we encountered. As they were constantly moving, saw more of them from boat. They were amazing and a lot of fun to watch.
The highlight of the trip for me was feeding the fish while snorkeling. As soon as a few food pellets released, you'd be swarmed with beautiful tropical fish--quite the experience. (However, as there were so many passengers on the trip, you were also surrounded by other swimmers making it difficult to maneuver without getting hit, bumped, or kicked.) Majority of staff were very nice and worked hard to make guests comfortable. Photographer did a fantastic job.
Would definitely recommend the excursion, but be aware that conditions can affect what you experience, be prepared to be snorkeling in a good-sized group in op
