Reviewed by: Alissa, 2021/08/14My husband and I chose to book this as our date night while we were on vacation with our family while my MIL stayed at the hotel with the kids. We also purchased the shuttle with our tickets and we're staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village...we almost, along with another couple missed the bus because the front desk at the hotel told us the "bus stop" was outside the hotel..and we were at the literal "bus stop" for The Bus, but we luckily called in enough time to realize it was in the tour group stand below the hotel (crisis averted). The bus was quick and getting onto the boat was quick and painless. They sat us right always and appitizer were at the tables waiting. Our server was prompt in taking drink orders and bringing food. Food was good! We were NOT expecting a full lobster lol and had to figure out what we were doing with it. We weren't quite sure about the show at first as the announcer was a little old/shaky but as it progressed the show was great. I especially appreciated that they had dancers at different parts of the dining room Floor so no matter where you sat you could see it. This was a racier show with a little more suggestive hip rolling than the Luau we attended earlier in our trip but we thought it was great! There was an amazing rainbow over Diamond head and the sunset was beautiful.

Hilton Waikiki Beach Front Luau & Fireworks Show - Friday Night Exclusive!
It's more for the experience
Reviewed by: Alissa, 2021/08/14We got the premium tickets and actually got sat front and center which was great for our kids (4, 6 & 8). That also meant though that one side of the table was blinded by the sun for the first part of the show until the sun dipped below the trees (small price to pay for front and center). We didn't realize that with the premium tickets even the kids got extra drink tickets that could be used for juice or alcohol. My kids were never going to drink that many juices so we used them to get a few extra Mai Tai for us...but word of advice if you wait for the server to get the drinks you will never be able to get through your tickets because they are split between so many tables so grab them from the bar yourself. The show was great my kids especially liked the fire dancers. The food was just ok but we expected that as it's hard to serve that many individual plates at once. The only thing my kids would eat was the shredded pork and fruit so if you have kids who are picky eaters make sure they eat a little something before hand.

Waikiki Sunset Dinner Cruise with Freshly Prepared Local Cuisine - Prince Kuhio
Great dinner cruise!

Something you Have to Do for a First Time Visit to Oahu!

Perfect for our last night in Oahu

I booked this dinner cruise in lieue of luau which was already sold out. I’m so glad that we did the sunset cruise instead. We had a great time and just perfect for our last night in Hawaii. Great budget-friendly excursion on Oahu!

5-in-1 Island Watersports Tour & Snorkeling Cruise with Waikiki Transportation
Kids loved it!

So much fun!

The actual time parasailing felt like 5 minutes, but any longer than that would have been too much for me anyway because we spent the whole time holding so tight onto those ropes! Overall, the experience was super fun!

I was looking for something unique to surprise the love of my life while visiting the Island of O‘ahu. I came across the Kamoauli and I'm so glad I did! It was an amazing experience!!! We were able to sail during sunset and soak up so much Hawaiian culture. This was truly different than any other advertised cruise. It truly felt like we were in a different world. We got a chance to get away from the hustle & bustle of Waikiki and escaped to our own little paradise on the water. We felt a sense of peace. We danced, learned about the history of Waikiki and listened to beautiful music throughout the cruise. Did I say the food was authentic Hawaiian food and delicious! This was such a memorable experience and to be able to share it with the man I love was..... priceless! I love you R!

The staff made us laugh and feel welcomed to come back at any point. They made the night enjoyable, and were very clean with the serving process, especially during these difficult times. The food was quite delicious, definitely exceeding our expectations. The sunset as the view for this cruise seals the deal. Would definitely recommend this cruise for any type of party, we as a group of 12 would love to bring our family and friends if we came back.

I thought about going higher but when I did a hot air balloon ride it was the most fun we weren’t as high because when it’s higher it was quieter and you couldn’t see as much. We had so much fun! Amazing views.

The views were amazing, the cruise lasted just about 2 hours. The crew really made the entire trip. They were fun, attentive and interactive. The boat had just the right amount of people on it so it didn’t feel crowded. They served food in containers so everything was very sanitary. The cruise comes with 2 free drinks, but if you are generous with your bartender they might just be generous back! It was a great time and I highly recommend this as part of your Waikiki visit.

Best experience in Hawaii with Moana Waikiki
Reviewed by: Liza, 2021/08/06I am a widow and did this experience with my three sons - ages 24,23 and 15 .. might never happen again …as they grow older and probably have their own families .. wishing I could do it again with them.. fortunately, they enjoyed the sail and asked me when again (I had in my heart a leap of joy ) .. cause the sail was smooth and fun out the sea with lively music, some laughters when the water splashed towards us ( we were seated at the front right side of the boat) didn’t expect that to happen and got soaking wet, basking in the sun, watching the dolphins play (this was truly awesome !) and taking sunset photos. I highly recommend Moana Waikiki .. the crew was friendly and this pretty and amiable lady was going around asking if we need anything and volunteering to take photos of us - it was highly appreciated! We had so much fun! Lovely and beautiful memories to treasure!

Waikiki Swim with Turtles Tour - Moana Catamaran Best Honolulu Snorkeling Cruise

A couple days before our trip a representative of Hawaii Activities contacted me to let me know the time we booked was no longer an option offered by the company. They rebooked us with a different company for the same day, at an earlier time, without drinks :(, for the same price even though the Moana company charged more than the one we originally booked. I appreciate this so much because as we were boarding, we saw a disappointed family at another dock who had their trip canceled with not even a notification. The boat just never showed up and when they called the company they were told they had to cancel due to COVID. Things happen but a notice would have been nice. Luckily for us Hawaiian Activities/Veltra not only notified us, but made alternative arrangements for us. I would definitely use this company for bookings in the future.
