Waikiki Submarine Tour - Descend to 100ft, See Shipwrecks & Sunken Airplanes
Good one time experience
Reviewed by: vkmr, 2022/01/17Great experience viewing aquatic life from submarine. Totally worth to visit once in a lifetime. On downside, finding the checking point was too cumbersome. Do plan to reach well advance in time. Did see lots of fishes, turtles. A bit on the expensive side, but again where else you would see marine life so closely without getting wet.

Maitai Catamaran Fun Sunset Cruise with Open-Bar from Waikiki Beach
So much fun!

Aha Aina Royal Hawaiian Luau - Waikiki Oceanfront Luau Dinner Show

Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/01/17Loved experiencing this right in Waikiki! The location at the Royal Hawaiian hotel was really convenient (no long bus rides) and the food was 10 out of 10. It started to rain a bit during the show and within minutes, the servers brought out towels to everyone so we could stay dry and catch the last bit of the show. Service was fantastic. Would recommend the extra to get the Premium seating closer to the stage.

Waikiki Guided Turtle Snorkel Tour with Snacks & Drinks - Holokai Catamaran
Favorite snorkel boat!
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/01/17Love, love, LOVE this boat! It's a beach catamaran so no transportation is needed. Plus, they provide you with FINS that are super comfy and adjustable. After snorkeling, you get some snacks and can purchase drinks on board. We got the souvenir Holokai shaker to keep. We did the 9am cruise which was perfect for visibility and to catch a little bit of sun before it got too hot in the afternoon. Would recommend!

2.5-Hour Turtle Snorkel Tour from Waikiki Beach - Hawea Rainbow Sail Catamaran
No frills catamaran sail in Waikiki, lots of Turtles
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/01/17With this cruise, we were provided with snorkels and snorkel vests. However, no fins are included. I'd recommend finding some fin rentals as it can be pretty exhausting to snorkel without them. Saw lots of turtles and fish! This catamaran is also a beach catamaran so the boat comes right up on the sand. It's right across from Duke's Statue (not to be confused with Duke's Waikiki restaurant). If you'd like a short activity in Waikiki to get out on the water, this is perfect! We did the AM cruise and visibility was perfect.

Waikiki Swim with Turtles Tour - Moana Catamaran Best Honolulu Snorkeling Cruise
SPACIOUS catamaran, great visibility, lots of fish
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/01/17This catamaran is super nice! Since it was an early snorkel cruise, we opted to add-on a light breakfast so we could sleep in a bit more in the AM. Visibility was amazing. On the boat ride to the snorkel spot, we were so lucky and saw dolphins. This is incredibly rare in Waikiki so we were so excited to have gotten the chance to see them! There were tons of fish at Turtle Canyon. This boat provided us with floatation belts AND fins. The fins helped us out so much and we were able to cover so much more area than if we didn't use them. Loved this cruise & would recommend!

Value-packed 1/2 day trip

BUT, if you're looking for a fun day on on the water with lots to do, this would be a fun choice for you. You get a lot of value: stand-up paddle boards, water trampoline, snorkeling, kayaks, etc. I liked that it was only a 1/2 day activity. We did the morning since the water is calmer and still had our whole day ahead of us after.

But, if you aren't - you can substitute the crab for chicken, fish, or a vegan option. The crabs were perfect with butter! Good entertainment and beautiful city skyline.

They make it fun for everyone with music and photos. Definitely recommending the 1000ft experience for families. Even the kids had a blast!

Not really a snorkel adventure

Also you are swimming around 3-4 other boats that have about 20 people each so it gets really packed really fast in the small little area. It’s a good beginner snorkel trip but if you are wanting to get a quality experience with a big reef to swim around I would look elsewhere

Overall ok
Reviewed by: anonymous, 2022/01/15I think overall I had great time with parasailing, the view from top was awesome. We had two issues, first issue, we were the last family to do parasailing and they cut short our time in the air <6 minutes, (yes I timed ours, compared to first family) so they did not manage time well even though they advertised 8 mins from start to finish. second issue, photos we bought from them did not open on my computer and when I tried on another computer there were no photos at all, just wasted my money :-(. Next time, I would choose different parasailing vendor for sure.

The best bang for your buck snorkel adventure!

Mina and the team were very helpful, accommodating and ensured that we had an awesome time . We spotted about 5 turtles and tons of schools of fish.

The entertainment was great and the dancers were absolutely amazing. The staff of very friendly and Overall it was a good experience just not something I would do again. If you get motion sickness I would think twice about this I saw many people spend the entire cruise in the bathroom.

The only thing is the pictures- we were a part of 6 and the pictures that I got were the same over and over again. The pictures are not worth it. Also I would advise to give dramamine to anyone in your party with the most minimal motion sickness.

Fun excursion!

It was a great way for us to end our trip in Hawaii. It is recommended though to know swimming well if you want to snorkel as the life jackets are not buoyant enough to keep you afloat.

Rude swimmers. Please describe how to snorkel with aloha before disembarking.
Reviewed by: Me today, 2021/12/30I get this on every tour, but newbies need instructions on how not to be rude. Don’t flip in my face. Stop swarming at me, and please… there is no reason to flail your appendages rampantly for no reason when there are 50 swimmer right next to you. Please explain this to swimmers before hand. In fact, in a small area, there is no reason for flippers. This would have been much more enjoyable if no one had them.
Turtles were neat. I would not tell anyone else if you see one because everyone swarms and hits you in the face/gut/you name it, as they flail to see it.
