Amazing experience!!!

The employees were outstanding, wonderful lunch provided and a couple drinks to top it off. We saw turtles, eels, flying fish, and other tropical fish!! Then they took us out farther to find whales after lunch and we did get a few glimpses of some whales:) fun was had by all!!! Thank you !!!!

Amazing sunset sail experience with whale sighting!
Reviewed by: Julia, 2022/02/27I booked this Waikiki catamaran cruise for myself and 2 others and it was the highlight of our entire trip! Booking was easy and affordable. The boat is very easy to find on the Waikiki beach. The staff was amazing, so friendly, and made our experience so much fun, helping us take pictures and playing great music.
The highlight of our ride was seeing a huge whale breach about 8 times out in the water!
I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Honolulu!

The WONDROUS Waters of Waikiki comes ALIVE!!

NOTHING is better than experiencing the beauty of Hawaii and it's wildlife than from the water - and the Star of Honolulu does it, like no other! Of course, the hope and draw of seeing whales is what brought us to this tour; however, truly, what makes this journey unforgettable is, in fact, the journey!
The boat ride, itself, is nothing short of magical. From the enchantment of rolling out of peer to the unreal experience of being on the ocean, looking towards our hotel from the perception of the sea is nothing we will soon forget! The crew were exceptional at being clear on instructions and protocols, which is appreciated - but truly what dazzled us impressed was how genuinely friendly and eager to help the crew was! I am disabled; the crew did an incredible job helping me and making sure I was alright!
The naturalist on board was great too! He was personable, knowledgeable, and open to questions, without being pushy. He enhanced the trip so much, and ticked our funny bone with his hilarious whale dad jokes!
Finally, seeing whales and dolphins in their own world took everyone's breath away! This was, without a doubt, the icing on the cake! We can honestly say, going on this adventure with the Star of Honolulu was the best and most memorable part of our honeymoon! Four of our biggest thumbs up for this amazing life experience; our biggest thanks to the Star of Honolulu!

Absolutely Wonderful!

Wow a whole lobster which was such a pleasant surprise as I thought it might just be the tail. LOL. The serivice, the entertainment and overall experience will last me the rest of my life. That is coming from this 80 year-old-lady who hopes she has many more years left. Going to Hawaii was a life-long dream and I finally made it.. This sunset cruise topped off my whole trip experience. Have been telling anyone I meet who mentions going to Honolulu I emphatically tell them to take this sunset cruise.

The was regular, not very tasty and I expected a real juicy steak not beef tenderloins and the salad could’ve been more than 3 pieces of romaine lettuce. Overall, the cruise was a lot of fun. 10/10 Best Sailing Vibes in Hawaii

Entry was smooth with friendly staff to help with setting a great sail during golden hour near diamond head. I would not skip out experience additional whale watching alongside this blue coastal waters (if your lucky). Bring a pack of claws and your friends into one of the best water rides this side of the Pacific.

With the door to door transportation we did not have to worry about tickets or parking and the driver brought us Leonard’s famous Malasada donuts afterwards. We saw so many turtles, a few schools of fish and some other unique fish around. Great tour for those wanting to try snorkeling. The staff was amazing too! Although we didn't have kids in our group, the staff was interacting great with those family groups aboard with us.

Perfect trips for a group of first timers.

The 5 person crew was friendly, knowledgeable and helped us have a fun and safe trip on the water. We were able to see multiple turtles including one that came up about 10 feet away from us. Also, plenty of fish to see in between turtle sightings. Plus we got to see a pod of dolphins when we first arrived at the reef.

Did not see turtles. Poor tour of the island

I wish our tour guy would’ve provided flashlights or something it was pretty dark the for a good 30 min going up. Luckily our phones did the trick but it ate up our battery. Overall a beautiful experience

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

We got out in the water and the staff swam with us to lead us to the turtles. We saw so many sea turtles. I definitely recommend doing this at least once in your lifetime.I'd love to do this again on my next trip to Oahu!
